Tai walked upon the mist once more. He was waiting... for something. There's a reason I need to come here.... soon I will find out what it is..... Tai smiled. He knew that there was much that he still needed to do. He hadn't looked back but, he had heard Mashimizu call after him. He knew that Mashi had left the Kiri for a reason but, he didn't know what it was. We shouldn't be here for too long.... I know that my destiny is calling me to go to Konoha.... where the Demon King Ukyo once reigned. Tai smiled. He felt the mist press against his skin and he felt welcomed by it. It made him smile and almost cry. He really did miss the Kiri but, he knew that he had things to do before he could truely return.

Mashimizu was a ways behind Tai, who had walked faster than he did. He wasn't exactly thrilled to be back in the place he had just left. But there was something he needed to get to help him on his travels, and of course battles. Finally he caught up to Tai, "By the way, while we're here...I need to get something. I might need your help." He looked out at the country that he was now in. Trying to remember where to do, and who to see to get what he needed. He kept looking at what he could see of the horizon through the mist. Finally it hit him, he was both happy and annoyed that he remembered, I reeeeally don't want to see her again... He thought. It was his grandmother that had told him the legend long ago when he was just a child. If he wanted any kind of clue as to wear the scroll was now, he would need to talk with her.

Tai looked at Mashimizu and smiled as he thought of something funny. "If you need help getting laid... I know quite a few ladies who would be more than happy to oblige. Other than that, you're on your own........" Tai smiled at the joke and laughed a wee bit. It had been a while since he had told a joke. 'Ok, ok. Seriously. What is it that you need? I don't know how long we're going to be here but, We might have enough time to get whatever the hell it is that you're needing." Tai thought for a second. Would going into the city be a great idea? Surely, it was a much bette idea to wait on the outskirs for.....what? What am I waiting for? Well.... nothing ventured.... nothing gained.....

Mashimizu laughed for the first time in a long while. It was a stupid joke but it was still funny. He tired to go back to being serious but he still smiled, "No Tai, I'm pretty set on that. No.. I'm looking for a scroll. A summoning contract. The only problem is... I don't exactly know where it is. But I know someone who can help us. I'm sure it's guarded or something, so I probably won't be able to do it alone." Mashimizu was still confused as to what happened to Tai, but he didn't question any further. He didn't want to piss him off and have him not help. "I promise it won't take long." He added. I hope...

Tai laughed. "It should be no problem.... I show up. Bullshit the gaurd for a bit while you go in and grab the scroll. It shouldn't be a problem....."

(Flashback)

"It shouldn't be a problem....." She had said it moments before the attack had begun. They had stopped them on the way there. The first one walked forward. He was a tall black man who looked as if he would be more suited as a club bouncer rather than a shinobi. "You're after the daimyo.... we will not let you pass...." His group of lackeys had surrounded them. Tai had let them knowing how foolish they were for even speaking to him. He smiled. "I geuss I'll just have to move you..." His scythe spun and.....

(Flashback end)

Tai blinked relizing where he was. "Hey....Mashi... If we're going to do this, we might want to make it quick.... got it. I have a feeling that we may need to leave the Kiri even sooner than what I had planned."

"You see... It's not exactly IN the village. In fact I don't think anyone in the village actually knows about it. Not even the Mizukage. Except, of course....My grandmother..." He said the last sentence with a groan. His grandmother was like many others; old, only somewhat sane, and embarrassing. It'll be a quick visit. Not even a visit actually. Just in, ask, and out. No conversation other than what we need. He said to himself as if preparing. If we're going to do this, we might want to make it quick Tai was right, but for different reasons. Mashi didn't want to stay here long either. Nor did he want to run into anyone he knew. He shifted the clothed gauntlet on his arm and spoke, "Don't worry, we're in the same boat here. It may be difficult, but i doubt it will take us long... And thanks Tai." He said looking at Tai with admiration. He was glad to have a friend like him.

Tai smiled. "As long as it helps us out when we need it. I'll help go through hell to get that fucking scroll." Tai looked around. "So...uh... where exactly is your grandma and why exactly does she know where this scroll is at?" Tai looked at him. He hadn't had aa good friend to talk to for quite a while. Mashmizu was the closest thing he had to a brother. He then remembered Meizu. Tai had jumped the gun and banished him for fighting outside of the tournament. Had he changed? Whatever happened to him? I bet he hates me for what I did. What happened to Locron. Did he get rewarded for the evil that I made him do? I have wronged so many of my friends but, I will not wrong Mashi!

He looked around, searching for the unmistakable constant smoke that bellowed from his grandmother's house. "Actually, He said, still looking around, "We're not that far." He said pointing to a trail of smoke that rose just above the trees. "And to answer your second question...well I can't," He said laughing a bit before continuing, "My Grannie, somehow, knows EVERYTHING. Her great-great-grandparents were once in the ANBU when they were still living. So the children would get the lastest scoop on what was going on in the world, including pretty damn good bedtime stories. Anyways, there was one story that involved an attack on Kiri and a scroll..." He started walking towards the smoke and sighed, "Problem is, I can't remember everything about the story. So I have to endure her once more."

Ryo walked into the scene, disguised by his ANBU attire. He carried around only a sword in his hands, concealed in it's sheath, blue in color, similar to his own hair. He tapped the blade against his shoulder and walked over to Tai, letting the chains around his waist and body jingle with every step. As he came to Tai he said in a much more mature, yet childish voice, So... You had no plans of informing me? He had grown much since he had last seen his former Mizukage, and wanted to see if he would still remember the young teen that worked alongside him. Ryo chuckled a little and pulled down his hood, not revealing his face, but only his blue hair with the white patch in the front. He flicked his hair once and let the water drop from it a little. He put his hands into his pockets on his cloak and smiled under his mask, hoping he would get some good from this whole conversation. He also saw Mashimizu to the side of him, busy with something, he would greet him seconds later.

A slight scamper could be heard in the distance as Sté made his way from tree to tree in search of Islyum. Sté turned his head towards his right and could see three people standing in the mist. The way they were stationed made it seem like they didn't want to be discovered. Sté had no time for suspicion nor was he afraid of stumbling into trouble, finding Islyum was his main priority. Making his way towards them, he made his entrance by leaping high into the air off of a branch and performing two back flips. He landed softly on his feet with his head held down towards the ground. He looked up slowly and immediately recognized the ANBU Black Op, Ryo.

He gave a sigh in relief as he walked towards Ryo asking: "Hey, remember me, from the hospital? That kid, Islyum, escaped and ran off some where, Im worried that he might..." Sté stopped as he looked at Mashimizu and then at Tai. He remembered Mashimizu from way back when they competed in the false tournament. What was more disturbing to him was Tai. Mizukage? Sté remained silent, he wasn't sure if being at this very spot placed his life in danger. OK, this is weird, why is the previous Mizukage here? Have I seen too much?
