After almost an hour of searching and talking to people the young kage was no closer to finding his mother than he had been when he arrived, no one had time to talk to him, they all had their own loved ones to find among the wreckage. Yasuo had returned home to find his house demolished by the attack, scouring through the rubble he was thankful to find that his mother had at least escaped this particular destruction, yet he was somewhat more worried than previously as he still had no idea where she could be.

Returning to the destroyed hospital for the third time Yasuo found something that had not been there before, a tall blonde stood before the rubble. The sage appeared next to the solemn figure, he hoped Seiko would be able to stand talking with him for at least a few minutes "My mother..." He began "Where is she Seiko?"

Seiko had been looking at the rubble of the hospital for sometime. The rain had begun to fall on Iwagakure, making the ground hard to stand on as he shifted his feet about and then looked at the sky above. The Moon was shining softly as he closed his eyes and then gripped his fist. "Was it you?" He thought to himself as he looked at his old Konoha headband. "How could you? You were there with me. We felt the same then. What changed?" He gripped the head band as Yasuo approached and spoke to him. "Your mother? Somewhere in here. I haven't really looked. She was apart of the rescue effort team trying to move people to the hospital."

The youth's eyes snapped to the back of Seiko's head as he spoke, he couldn't believe what he had just heard, not only that but the way Seiko had said it so casually. "Move!" He yelled and pushed the jounin out of his way whilst gathering his chakra as his eyes began freely flowing with tears "How can you say it so casually!?" He shouted with a wavering voice without looking at Seiko "You were like a Son to her! She loved you!" At that moment he raised his arms over the rubble and passed his chakra through the rock before lifting his arms high, the strain was obvious in his face and the way his body quivered, after all lifting a destroyed hospital was no simple feat.

The sage could taste the salty tears on his lips now, slowly the remains of the building which now floated in the air moved aside from the site of the hospital and crashed down onto the ground making it much easier to search through the ruin. Yasuo spared a quick glance of disbelief to Seiko before rushing into the remains shouting for his mother.

Seiko closed his eyes as he was pushed aside and then looked at Yasuo. "You know why I can say it casually? As if it were something meant to happen? Because you..." He opened his eyes and grabbed his sword and pointed it at Yasuo. "... you abandoned us! You left us and no one knew where you went or even what happened." He said as he looked at Yasuo digging around in the debris for his mother. "It's too deep. It'll take too long for on man to do alone." He said as he turned his back on Yasuo. "She loved me. I know that. It's her son's love I'm questioning. How could he so easily abandon us?"

"Dammit Seiko!" Came a very un-Yasuo like screech from within the robes of the desperate young man "Just help me find her! I'll tell you everything later and you can judge me then" The sage was now on all fours with his hands firmly planted on the ground. Lifting the remains of the hospital had taken its toll on him but he still had plenty of chakra in his reserves and he used it now to sense any vibrations made in the surrounding area; a mumble, a breath, even a heartbeat, Yasuo would be able to detect all these things, but at the moment he found nothing other than his and Seiko's vibrations "It can't be true..." He whispered to himself and the ground was now wet with drops of salty liquid "She has to be here!" He said now, more determined.

Seiko walked up to Yasuo and put a hand on his shoulder and then walked to where the emergency entrance was. He took his sword and lit them up with chakra and then then slammed down. "Braver!" He roared as he destroyed the section he attacked and then lifted one more rock. He slowly brought a bloodied woman out from the debris and then brought her over to Yasuo. She was barely breathing. Seiko knew time was short and if nothing was done to stop her injuries she would die. "Ms. Amano. Don't speak." He said as he looked at Yasuo and handed her to him. He whistled for help to come.

The weary Yasuo turned to look Seiko eye to bloodshot eye as he rested a hand on his shoulder and whimpered slightly, it seemed to him to be the confirmation he had been dreading for over an hour now. The youth moved to clasp Seiko's hand with his own but it was gone before he could grasp it "Seiko...?" He said shakily as the jounin moved away to what once was the emergency entrance to the hospital, the jounin's swords lit up with a ferocious energy and no sooner was there a huge explosion which destroyed a small section of the remaining debris.

The sage shielded his face with the dirtied sleeve of his robe after the force had died down he could see his lover walking towards him with someone in his arms...A woman. "Mother!?" He yelled as soon as it dawned on him who it must be and he rushed to her side where Seiko laid her down on the ground and lowered his hood, she was severely injured and indeed, barely alive. The kage looked her up and down with fearful eyes, the damage was extensive and she was losing blood fast, no sooner had he lifted a hand to her cheek than a small team of med-nin had arrived at the scene "We will take her now Tsuchikage-Sama" one of them said. The small man looked up the ninja and slowly nodded as they left with the delicate woman.

Yasuo couldn't get to his feet, he tried but his legs didn't seem to want to respond, instead he lifted two shaky hands to the sides of his head and began rubbing his temples and breathing deeply.

Seiko's hair came undone by the rain and blond hair covered his face. He walked up to Yasuo and then spoke softly. "This is what happens when we get careless. I told you I suffered this pain once before." He said as he put a hand on his shoulder and then looked down, golden hair blocking all but on eye. "Stand up. If your people see you weak, then you will always be questioned." He said as he put his mask on. "Or would you rather I force you up?" He said as he pulled Yasuo up off his feet and then looked at him through the eye holes in his mask. He tried to hold the shaking youth to him.

The sage barely heard his lover over the sound of his own heart and the rain which flattened his white hair to his face. He stared into the masked face before him before pushing himself away from the man and began stumbling through the rubble towards the North of the village where most of the reminaing villagers had gathered. "What would people think of me if seeing my mother half dead did not affect me..." He stopped for a second "I'm sorry Seiko, I'm confused, come with me I need your strength. The villagers need to know I've returned and what we're going to do about this destruction." He flashed a weak smile to the blond before walking back to him and embracing his lover "I wish I could have told you I was going" He whispered "You have no idea how much I've longed for you these past months."

Seiko looked at Yasuo as he pushed him away and heard him speak. He stood his ground with his mask on and looked at the Kage. "I am your servant. What you ask I oblige. There are no personal feelings to be had." He said as he stood there looking at Yasuo with a cold look hidden behind the mask. Inside, Seiko was hurt by the push. "The man you long for is no longer before you. He is gone now." He said as he whistled and looked at the ANBU who arrived. "Inform everyone that the Tsuchikage has returned and that we are to respond to the situation soon." He said as the men nodded and disappeared.
