Description: This is the very basic technique for all puppet users, it is what allows one to control a puppet by using chakra strings. The amount and complexity of the puppets one can use depend entirely on their skill, and the techniques they can use depend entirely on their puppets
The dessert breeze blew through the land majestically. Small flecks of dust blew past and caught the boys white hair.
Kaza stood alone in the midst of the dessert, Suna in his sights behind him, the guards nodded as he looked. Kaza had come out today with a reason, today would be the day he learned to control a puppet with chakra strings.
Kneeling over Kaza laid out his puppet, meditating for concentration before attempting his first connection. Putting both hands on the puppet he tried to force the chakra out from within his body, and unto the puppet. The puppet twitched slightly, rocking the shell. Kaza knew this would be difficult and put his head down in shame. Frankly he had no idea what he was doing, but there was no way he would give up this easily and he rested his hands back on the puppet, releasing more chakra...

Description: A very basic skill, without which a shinobi would become the laughing stock of the village. It allows them to escape ropes and similar simple restraints. However, advanced knots and heavier restraints than a simple rope may be too much for a basic skill like this to handle.
The new day has come and a perfect day for me to start training to learn more jutsu. I got up and began getting ready when i grabbed my Chuunin vest. " Now i am a Chuunin this is going to get interesting" i said when i headed out of my home. The sun was bright for the early morning hours with not to many things ready to go when i started to head into the dessert. I saw the villagers all wave at me as i headed out of the village until i reached the gates. " Morning Kenji" some of the guards said " Morning guys" i said to them when i looked out past the gate i see a genin that had to of just graduated from the academy.
I walk out of the gates and over to the genin seeing him trying to get a puppet to move" Ahh so your a puppet master" i said to him " I'm Kenji" i introduced myself to the genin to see if i cant help him with anything. " After you figure this out i can show you a nice trick that will help you with your puppet." i said to him taking a few steps away from the genin when i begin to work on another jutsu of my own." Could you tie my hands first?" i asked before he started to get the puppet to move." I would love to get this right." i said to him looking at him wondering what he is going to think when i held out a thick piece of robe. _________________ Mouken

Kaza focussed his mind more, trying to decipher the mystery of the puppetry technique, a burst wasn't going to sustain the control so he had completely ruled that option out of the chakra problem. Perhaps if he let chakra flow freely between him and the puppet he qould find an option. Putting his hand back on the puppet he attempted to let his chakra flow freely between the puppet and himself, there had to be something to this because he could feel the puppet now, its joints, latches, gears, comnponents, everything, even the secrets it concealed. Something caught Kaza's ears, a boy wishing to train.
Kaza turned his head as a boy spoke to him, smiling a bit he put his right arm behind his head, scratching his neck as the boy spoke,
"I suppose I could tie ya, names Kaza by the way" kaza said with sincerity as he stood, Putting his hands in his pockets kaza turned his head to the side as he asked a question,

"Doesnt matter" I said to the boy hoping that he didnt notice the chuunin vest that i was wearing. I stand there with my back turned holding my hands close so they can be tied. < i will get this > i thought knowing that i was the only Chuunin that didnt know all of the basic skills. I stand there when i decided to let Kaza know. " When you get the puppet to move i can teach you anything that i know if you want" i said offering my services to a fellow genin of the hidden sand village. The wind began to pick up some but not enough to cause a sandstorm. _________________ Mouken

Kaza nodded, doing a complexish boat knot he remembered seeing at the fish vendors once before on a boat sales display, which in afterthought he considered very strange for a village such as sunagakure. Kaza nodded to the boy, letting him know that he was returning to his own form of training, checking once to make sure the knots were secure.
Kaza turned once more, kneeling and placing his hands on the puppets lifeless body. He had gotten some form of communication with a constant flow, but not control previously. It seemed like the next logical step was to exert more chakra than previously, not in a burst but rather a controlled quantity. As kaza released his chakra into the puppet he felt something he had not previously, he felt like he was in control. As kaza focussed he tried to get the puppet to lift off the ground. The puppet shook violently but did not lift, perhaps it was slightly heavy for that, so he decided to try something simpler. focussing his chakra he tried to open the head compartment and with a click the trap opened revealing the head of his puppet.

With the knot tied to my hands behind my back i turn to see if the young puppet user could get the jutsu down. < Hes doing well > i thought as i move my hands around to get the knot to losen. I move and move hands and wrist until i can get out of the knot only to hurt myself by a slightly rope burn. I let my hands do the work this time feeling around on the knot looking for a weak point with just my hands alone. i found one point that i could reach only if it didnt move against my burns. i grab the slight loop that i felt on the knot as i begin to slowly pull it with everything i have.
Kaza raises from his knelt position, checking over his shoulder at the other shinobi, smiling he returns to his buisness, walking some distance from the puppet and raising his hands.
The wind blew kaza's hair up at a standing height, specks of sand began marking their territory in his hair making him seem less clean than before, he would have to clean after training. Kaza focussed his thought on the puppet, arms infront of him, trying to produce the same flow, which appeared to not work as well. As a matter of fact, not at all. The Genin stood their a moment, thinking of how to solve this delemmia, glancing over at the other shinobi once again and the rope that bound his arms and a thought echoed in his mind...

"Try focusing on one point with your chakra" i yelled over to Kaza seeing him a little ways from his puppet. I continued to move my hands and tugging on the rope only to pull it tighter then looser. < Great work Kenji you just made it tighter >i thought watching the boy try to get the puppet technique down. " Think of it like ropes coming from you see what that does" i said hoping that would give him an idea on how to use his chakra. I felt the knot again this time i managed to loosen it a bit from when i tightened it. " I dont know anything about puppetry but i know from my stand point its about chakra control." i said" Try controlling your chakra to move like ropes. At least that's what i have seen of the technique" i said to him getting the rope a bit looser.
Kaza foccused on the thought of rope, string even attaching the puppet and himself together in a symmetry done by previous masters thousands of times over. And to his suprise the connection happened, their was a burst of excitement through kaza as the puppet hooked onto the ends of the strings of chakra, and he felt that magnificent feeling he had previously, control.
Kaza thought of the unlimited possibilities with this technique in his hands, the many puppets and traps he could create, but his focus came back to the puppet and what he had to do now. Using hsi chakra and attaching the strings at focus points on the puppet he lifted it off the ground and into the air, perfect! he kept thinking to himself, slowly moving the puppet of to himself he placed it on his back, and strapped the buckle on his chest. Kaza refocussed his strings to control the points of the puppet he would use in combat and glared at the other shinobi,

"Great work" i said to Kaza" Ready to learn another jutsu that will work great with that one and many others?"i asked moving my hands to get the knot looser then i have the last time< Almost have it undone > i thought looking at kaza move his puppet." This jutsu is known as Shoushin no jutsu it allows you to move quickly to any point around an area" i started to say" It works great with other techniques like you puppet technique and the academy basics" I finished when i got my hands nearly freed from the knot. I feel the main knot of the rope while i am going on about Shoushin" It will also work when you are trying to get away from an opponent that is set on killing you" i said thinking back to the exams where it saved my life numerous time.

Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. The ninja will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance. While it may seem like the user simply appeared or disappeared, the technique is actually a momentary increase in movement speed towards a set location.
