Kodo flew to the Forest of Death with Airazor just a few flaps behind him. They both landed at one of the many gates to the forest. Kodo hoped his Sensei would see him there because he was hesitant to enter this time without him. Kodo didn’t know what the Hokage had in store for him and he was taking extra precautions. “Well I’m here. Now just to wait for Tamotsu-sensei so he can tell me what this tick tock boom is all about.”
The three clones, which he knew Kodo would be unable to tell were all clones despite his better knowledge, appeared in front of Kodo. And the middle one smiled as he walked forward and then pet Kodo softly before taking a knee and smiled.
"Kodo. You were the first in a long line of students I ever had. You remind me so much of me when I was on a team. I was always desperately seeking my sensei's attention, kindness and acknowledgment of ability. But... he died before he got the chance to see me become Hokage. And deep down inside it kills me to never hear him say..." Tamotsu froze a moment as he wiped the tears from his eye.
"You... are most certainly a genius like your father."
"Kodo... here today... me and you will make a bond of student and master. I will raise you as my own from now on. And it will begin here... where I will throw your life into danger. Because if you live... then... maybe you will one day carry on my legacy."
Tamotsu stood up and ruffled the boy's hair smiling a sad smile. _________________ Tamotsu Says: What come around, goes around... unless you're in the pool. Then it spreads around. Kodo knew he should smile at this, if it weren’t for his mask Tamotsu-sensei could have seen a glimpse of one forming. Kodo never had a family, at least not that he could remember. Tamotsu-sen’s declaration almost brought a tear to Kodo’s eye. Still he wasn’t sure if what Tamotsu-sensei said was directed at him or just what he wished his own sensei could have said. Still Kodo knew he would have to show his strength, and what better place then the Forest of Death.
"In this forest... many people have died. I wish not to bury you here. Because I've come to care deeply for you. But it is not my choice. IT is yours. The clones you see before you are not normal Kage Bushin. Two of them are a bomb. You will use your senses and what I've taught you before about understanding your surroundings. You must strike the one that is not the bomb. If you can... I will teach you the first step to Kage Bushin. If you don't you will most likely lose an arm." Tamotsu's clone said softly.
"Kodo... take off your mask. We will no longer hide in shadows. And I wish to see the eyes of the student who will change the world." He said as the clones jumped in to a line formation and looked at Kodo.

ooc: The mask only covers Kodo’s lower face from his nose down. His eyes are always visible. Just to let you know for future reference.
ic: “So Tamotsu-sensei didn’t come in person… He wishes to taunt me with the jutsu I wish to learn. I’ll let him have his fun. He never said I had to strike the cline with my own body.” Kodo pulled out his Wakizashi and pointed it at the clones. Kodo’s chakra started to emit from his body. “I’m sorry Sensei, the mask stays. It is the only think I have of my family and I ware it with pride.” Kodo griped the hilt of his blade with on hand and placed the other in a hand sign before he disappeared. The sound of Kodo’s sword could be heard as it cut through the center clone.

Renge [Lotus] (Taijutsu) {C: 9 posts without a teacher}
Renge, a series of high-speed hand-to-hand combat moves. Because of its high speed and power it requires a lot of stamina and it strains the muscles. Should be used with caution.

Kawarimi no Jutsu [Body Switch Technique] (Basic: Ninjutsu) {E}
Kawarimi is a widely used and very famous skill among shinobi. The user uses speed to their advantage, and grabs an item from the environment and places it on his/her current position while moving out of the way. This is clearly an evasion technique used to dodge attacks; however it can be linked with other jutsus or attacks to create massive damage if done properly.
OOC: I don't think you can get away that easily. The explosion is a rather large one, it would be going off while you where attempting the replacement jutsu. You should take at least half damage. But that's my personal opinion. _________________
ooc: This is true, however as I didn't look at his spoiler before posting I didn't know if there was even going to be an explosion. Thus I placed percausions in place. Kodo activated the Lotus to increase his speed and at the same time he also activated the replacment jutsu. The lotus increases his attack and escape speed. The replacment jutsu is incase Kodo couldn't out run the explosion. I had a 1/3 chance of hitting the one that wasn't a bomb. I had to make sure Kodo didn't die right off. As if I hit one that was a bomb the other one would explode as well creating twice the explosion. So Unless I edit my post after reading the spoiler(I don't think that's allowed) i have to wait for AJ to post the explosion before Kodo can react. The middle clone, despite being a clone, still had Tamotsu's training and knew well of what Kodo was capable of. He looked on as the young Chuunin had jumped before him and swung down. As the blade came down, the clone closed it's eyes and erupted with a huge explosion as all three clones were destroyed. The explosion knocked over several trees and the animals in forest looked over to where the big dust cloud was. In the distance, several Medical-ANBU were looking on to see if Kodo had survived the blast to heal him immediately on the orders on orders of Tamotsu. _________________ Tamotsu Says: What come around, goes around... unless you're in the pool. ic: Kodo’s blade never even touched his target as Tamotsu-sensei’s Kage Bunshin exploded. Kodo had expected his failure to choose the right clone so he had activated his Lotus and Kawarimi no Jutsu before hand. It was a good choice as Kodo’s body burst into a bunch of feathers as the flames from the explosion engulfed him. Kodo had escaped certain death, or so he thought. Kodo reappeared outside what he thought was the range of the explosion only to find out he was wrong. Kodo landed safely on the ground only to be knocked against a tree. The same tree landed on him a few seconds later as the explosion still expanded its radius.
Airazor was well out of range when the Kage bunshin exploded. It is a good thing because he would have been crushed by the debris. Airazor spotted Kodo as well as the Medical ninja. Airazor flapped his wings and flew around the ninja and directed them to Kodo’s pinned body. The ANBU moved in quickly to Kodo's spot and began removing the tree from Kodo slowly as the process was not an easy one. The cut the tree in 5 segements and removed each one from Kodo and dragged him out to begin the healing process. They focused their chakra and 2 of them began healing Kodo slowly. One of the ANBU men began to speak to Kodo with a tone of slight weariness.
"The Hokage felt that you'd pick the wrong one and had us on standby. He didn't want his student to die young. He believes that protecting you is important and has had us watching you."
