The Search for a Sensei and Team!!

"Argh! Everyday I'm doing the same ol' things. I'm training hard as possibly, and getting no where slowly. I can't continue on this way. The important and informal scrolls of Sunagakure are locked up somewhere in the Kazekage Towers, meaning I won't be able to teach myself, which ultimately means without a proper teacher I'm gonna be stuck with the jutsu I've learned from the Academy and learn nothing more! Damn!!" Nirashi exclaimed angrily. He was in a sure predicament, having no way of becoming stronger or learning anything new. What he needed was a sensei and now he knew.

"I got it! I'll go and search for a sensei or some team members, then we can make a 3-Cell Squad, like most ninja do. But, how do I find a sensei and team members...hmm.." Nirashi said placing a finger upon the top of his head as he began to think. Wait! I'm in Sunagakure...The Hidden Village!! There's destined to be ninja around, it's only natural! Albeit one ninja I meet will be teamless and then 'BAM' like that. Now to spot a possible candidate. Nirashi continued to walk as he looked around for walking ninja who could possibly be a teamleader.

OOC: Finally someone posts a topic here!

IC: " Hello, loud guy," A voice behind him said, the soft tones of a young, exuberant girl. " Couldn't help but overhear you. You sure do like to exclaim all your problems out loud. I guess that would save on mind space..." She scratched her head, troubled at how little mind space she had left.

" Oh!" She exclaimed. " I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Hime Mitsuhaki, person extrodinaire. I'm also looking for a team..." She winked at him, emphasizing her eyes. " If you're interested in a person like me, that is. It's fine if you're not, I won't hold anything against you."

She shrugged her shoulders, awaiting his response. Before he could, though, she had already began humming a tune. The jig was deeply lodged into her brain, which she would never get the mind space for again.

Nirashi gave Hime an odd look as she seemed to appear...out of nowhere. However, he soon assumed his regular posture and facial expressions and began to look at Hime as he were sizing her up or something. Wow...she seems a little young, short, and hyper for a kunoichi. But, seing this is all I got, guess I'll have to take it. At least there'll be a female on the team...now to find a sensei and another teammate, but first I need to ask this girl some questions.

"Hmmm....alright. You're looking for a team as well, eh? Well that's great, Hime Mitsuhaki I believe. My name is Nirashi Cora, nice to meet you." He said greeting the little girl, in a soft, nice tone. "Two heads are always better than one, so we should both search for a sensei together, and a teammate. But, I have one question...how old are you?" I bet she's like...9 or 10.

" Twelve and perpetually short, sir!" She yelled out, her face widening into a huge grin. " I'm a little giddy... Too much sugar, I think." She winked, but soon sobered up, although still very upbeat.

" Thanks for giving me a chance. I've been rejected from three teams so far. All of them were so closed minded..." She shook her head actually distressed, but managed a bright smile, as always.

She gave him a curious look, and walked straight up to him. " You haven't noticed yet, have you?" She laughed softly, and tried to accentuate by winking her white eyes. " I'm blind, you know. Well, kind of. Technically yes, but also no." She furrowed her brow, unsure of how to explain it. Everyone else had just picked up on it.

" Well, I can see you, but I can't see the ground, or the sky, or the walls, or the weapons. But I see every person. Does that make any sense?"

"It makes perfect sense for a Mitsuhaki," Sasori said from the shadows. He stepped out then, observing the two of them. They seemed an odd pair, but their talents would be fine for doing missions. "Currently, there are no Jounin that I know of to lead our squads, so the third member of your team will be a chuunin, namely me." With this he tosses a Metal Fan to Nirashi. He had heard this one had strong tendencies towards Wind element.

He walked over to them, sizing them up. "It seems we should get to know each other. I will start. My name is Sasori. I am 18 years old, and a Chuunin. I am highly skilled in the art of Wind Jutsus, and would not mind teaching them to you, Nirashi-san. I can also teach you two the basics, if you like."

She smiled, but her eyebrow raised slightly. Not many people knew about her, especially of her past. How would he know of the Mitsuhaki?

" Well met, good person. It seems that you already know of me. I'm Hime, genin. I'm skilled in the arts of genjutsu, archery, and spotting. I'm also very empathetic, if you know what I mean," She said, adding a wink for Narashi's sake.

Since everyone knew, she decided to put her sunglasses on. Even if she can't see them, she knew it made her look damn cool. She took out her walking stick, too. She didn't want to trip over another low bearing wall again.

Blind...I would've never guessed. White eyes, wow...I had another thought going through my head. I know there was a clan of people with natural white eyes, but they weren't...blink. Hmph. Nirashi shrugged and began to speak, but before he did he heard another voice. Nirashi's eyes widened and he turned towards the man, and started to open his mouth and say something, but before he could he was interrupted once again. This time not by words, but by actions. A Metal Fan was quickly thrown his way and he caught it.

To Nirashi the thrown Metal Fan was a bit heavy in weight, but managable and he would be able to work with it. Great...we have a sensei, and though he's not a Jounin, an 18 year old Chuunin, who knows the basics and is skilled in the Fuuton Element is good enough for me. A smile soon came across Nirashi's face as he turned in Sasori's direction.

"Nice to meet you Sasori-san or shall I say Sasori-sensei. I have a question though...what will I be doing with this...fan? Isn't it a bit girly...." He said staring at the fan.

Sasori grinned at Hime, and grinned even wider at Nirashi's comment about the fan being girly. "Ah, Nirashi-san, even at genin level you should know looks are unimportant. The Metal Fan is a very powerful weapon in the hands of one who knows how to use it." He took out his own then. He was positioned perfectly so that the wind would not hurt Hime, but he could hit Nirashi.

He swung the fan very quickly, faster than one would have expected such a cumbersome-looking object could be swung, and released chakra into the wind. He controlled it precisely, sending the gusts so that they would cut clothing and nothign else. "You see, that was one tenth of my power, and it was controlled to the point that it only cut clothing. Had I wished I could have blown you into the building behind you, but now is not the time."

Nirashi stared at his sliced shirt and pants with amazement. He never espected a simple fan could produce such winds, at only one-tenth of a Chuunin's powers. Just imagine!! If I was a Jounin, the power would be amazing!!! Seeing the power of the Fuuton Element, itself was appealing to Nirashi, but seeing the power that the fan gave the element, further excited him.

"Wow, Sasori-san!! That was pretty cool..." He commented. "Hey who cares if this is a bit girly, I want to learn how to do that! However...carrying this thing around all day...that's a no."
