Name:The Painter's Spear - 絵描きの槍
Description: This weapon was passed down by the main branch of the Ekaki clan for generations. It was given from one clan leader to the next. The spear is about five and a half feet long, with the spearhead protruding an extra foot and a half. The spearhead is in the shape of the profile of a calligraphy brush. The shape and thickness of the blade makes it almost look like a Guandao The shaft is slightly thinner at the bottom and thicker nearer the top, giving the feel of a paintbrush. The shaft is made out of hardwood and covered in lacquered bamboo strips. Whether by design, construction, or some other attribute, the shaft of the spear is as strong as steel while still being able to bend like wood. The wooden shaft is able to take on and extend the design of the wielder's tattoo. When it is passed on to the new clan leader, it takes on the new leader's tattoo design. It also extends the tattoo's power in some way.
