Ahira took a deep breath, the warmth from the light wind blowing her dark hair behind her shoulders. Her dark brown skin stood out against the pale gold of the sand terrain around her. She knew that there was a chance that some creature could jump out at her within any given moment. But Ahira Henshin wanted it to happen. In fact, she licked her lips slowly as her golden eyes surmised the world around her.

Slowly she lifted her right foot up, the sand falling away from her toes - the texture feather soft and not at all course and grainy like most people would imagine. But then again, if a person did not hail from Sunagakure no Sato, they would have thought such harsh territory was the worst of conditions to be living under. But to Ahira, this was more home to her than anything she'd ever known. She could not remember Konohagakure any better than she could remember the names of her parents.

To her, Ahira's only real guardian and friend was Jinnai. But he was dead now. Truly, she was alone in the world.

Slipping her foot back into the sand, Ahira turned slowly and let her back leg move off the side just a bit, the sand continuously falling on the top of her foot like a curtain of the softest satin. She moved her arms above slowly in a kata-like fashion before she punched the air a couple of times and then did a back flip into the air - kicking sand up with her as it soon got carried by the wind. Making sure to land on her feet as best she could, Ahira balanced her upper body so that she would not fall over or twist her ankle.

Exhaling, Ahira closed her eyes and allowed the warm wind to caress her cheeks. Her balancing skills had been getting better. No one would be able to get the jump on her in this desert unless they could open up the sand beneath her and swallow her whole. She'd been coming out here, day after day, practicing on listening to the different shifts of the sand around her - both by the air, other creatures, or even herself.

She sighed. "Man, training sucks sometimes," Ahira muttered under her breath while opening one eye slowly, her dark bangs falling across her forehead.

_{IC: The quivering strides of the false shattered pieces of glass floated in the area when the reflecting the aura of chakra that slivered around the area, the aura of chakra deepened and thickened in the mist of the area when a body flew through the area rolling past the young woman as another went flying past her with quick swift movements of blazing red trail of chakra flowing behind the shinobi. The shinobi rolling on the ground pushed on hand and started twisting around in the air with quick movements, with his legs flinging around freely. "Come on, Kogi.. with gates open that is it?" He smiled when his cloak covered his face still and most of his upper body with a small vision of his red hair flowed forward, landing on his feet and looking at the charging shinobi. The aura of their chakra blasted away the sand with each step in the surrounding area echoed with blasts that were silent until earlier. Kogi had already unlocked two of his gates and disappeared in front of Ballian about to throw a punch when Ballian was above Kogi at the exact instant he appeared driving his heel into the shoulder of his close friend sending him flying deeply into the sand creating an excessively large crater in the sand that flowed with down covering Kogi slightly.

Ballian looked down and raised an eyebrow then looked up at the female who was apparently balancing over fifty feet away. "Hmmm... Kogi, you alright?" His hand raised up through the sand giving a thumbs up with a relaxing moment there. "Who are you looking at?" He asked curiously when Ballian was drifting off looking at the person. "No idea... she doesn't look familiar.." He spoke with caution in his voice. "Female shinobi, no clue who it is though." He said jumping over the crater and looking at her with his arms cross, she couldn't see his face or anything really but his weakly tanned arms and his pants that flowed with white and gold stripe down the pant legs on the side. "Hello, and the likes of yer name may be?" He spoke with his eyes closed and opened one to look at her.}

Immediately, Ahira could sense the chakra flow of others nearby. Her golden eyes widened slightly as she looked on curiously. Their faces were hidden, as a smart shinobi would do in all this sand, but Ahira didn't care. After all, she was training for her benefit, not anyone else's. So instead, she continued to do her training and focused on balancing herself.

Slowly, Ahira lifted her right leg and let her left arm curl back so that her fist was right at her hip, the knuckles facing downward. She closed her eyes and pushed her right hand out, palm facing outward as another gentle bit of the wind pushed up against her.

Suddenly, her dark hair flew back behind her and she flashed her eyes open - a person standing before her. Her posture didn't change for even a second. The only movement was the man's red hair and the sweat snaking down the side of Ahira's dark brown cheek. "Hello, and the likes of yer name may be?"

Ahira scoffed lightly, closing her eyes once more and turning her head to look away from him in defiance. "You're awfully rude, Sir," she said, focusing her thoughts to stay balanced with her one foot in the sand. "A man hiding his face and asking another person who they are. I'd ask you to tell me your name first..." Ahira paused, smirking before turning her face to look at the mysterious stranger once more, his power immense, but she cared not. After all, powerful people did not scare her. She had no reason to be scared. What shame was there in being a novice? It just meant that she still had learning to do and much knowledge to acquire. "But I guess it would do me no good, seeing as how you wish to remain anonymous." A light shimmer in her eyes caught the light of the sun, making her eyes glow slightly even and accenting the green that was hidden in its pools.

OOC: I'll rank train too, I guess.

A lone bird flew through the great desert of the Wind Country. It was a Bald Eagle to be exact, not exactly what you would expect to see in a huge desert. It flew swiftly, yet at the same time gracefully as well. It flew in no particular pattern, a curve here, a loop there, it was just having fun. It felt great too, the wind between it's feathers, the joy of flying, the excitement of being in the sky. As it flew, it kept an eye out for anything that caught his attention, the bird needed something to do and had also heard there was another like him out in the Wind Country. So he had decided to check it out.

As he flew, he finally found something that caught his eye. Two men, and a pretty girl who seemed to be training. He decided he had found what he wanted. So, the bird slowly descended, finding it's destination to land easily enough. It had to be very careful landing though, one false move and lot's of bad would come. As it got lower and lower, it got slower and slower. It had reached the group now, and was about to land on it's target. It slowly glided onto the girl's shoulder, making sure not to scratch or hurt her in any way. It would then turn it's head and look at the girl, before winking once. If the girl was watching it, she would most likely see it, though if she wasn't paying careful attention, it would probably just look like a blink.

OOC: It might be a lame post, but it's my lame post.

_{IC: The sound of the gliding bird flickered through the ears of the shinobi who was covered up with his darkening cloth that hid his face from everyone. "You speak as if you are in command of this village..." with a small smirk on his face, the flickering shadows as large gust of wind created by the man blew through the air knocking his hood down and throwing his head back with a quick flicker back forward to fix his hair; the sun shining upon his hair made it glow with the flame colours of the fire chakra of shinobi with the tainted streams of yellow that glistened gently on top of his highlights in his hair. "My name is Ballian Amimura, the Kazekage, now can I get an answer from the young lady.." His eyes closed when his arms connected across his chest gently when the bird landed the eyes of the kazekage opened gently and looked. Ballian sighed with a bit of relief; but when his lips unzipped from being sealed by the drying winds of the hot desert he licked them gently and sighed when cracking his knuckles and was curious why the bird had a chakra system flowing through all over it, he didn't notice any messages and scratched his chin.

The bird winked at the young female shinobi. "What in the bloody hell is with that bird.." He grinned and scratched his chin again and drew his blade with quick reflexes; the hand of a shinobi stopped the handle from being removed. "Ballian, not a message bird, its someones bird..." The hand was Kogi's also the voice was too. The hand attached to the handle sheathed the blade back into its shielder gently and Ballian let go with a sigh. "Whatever... AS for you, what is you're name?"}

"You speak as if you are in command of this village..."

Ahira snorted, almost wanting to say that she could take command of the village if she wanted to. But she felt it would have been disrespectful to Jinnai since the old man loved Sunagakure no Sato with all of his being. Before she came into his life, his world revolved around Sunagakure. She closed her eyes, letting the gentle wind brush up against her body and blow her hair back.

However, when she opened her eyes her lips parted just slightly. The flaming red hair and those deep blue eyes, the lightly tanned skin and that commanding chakra aura... She didn't even need to hear the man telling her who he was, for a fool would guess otherwise if he did not live in Sunagakure no Sato. "My name is Ballian Amimura, the Kazekage, now can I get an answer from the young lady.."

Ahira was face to face with the Kazekage himself. Instead of feeling dread or shame for her words, the young Henshin female could only feel her heart rate speeding up with anticipation. His power was unmistakably grand and she longed to test her own, pitiful skills against him. How long could she hold her own?

Suddenly, a bird landed nearby and her golden eyes fixated themselves on it for but a moment. Ahira did not miss the bird winking at her and she somehow felt a kind of connection with the creature. When she saw Ballian about to draw his sword, as if to slay the bird, her eyes glared at him for a moment as the smile left her lips and was replaced with a slight scowl. How could he kill a creature like that? Especially if it was carrying a message or if it was someone else's.

The Wind Shadow's Anbu stopped him and Ahira instinctively placed herself in between the bird and the lord of the Wind Country. "Whatever... AS for you, what is you're name?"

"It's Ahira," she stated, her dark bangs clinging to her forehead while stepping back and getting into a stance proper for continuing her training. "Ahira Henshin, Kazekage-sama." She placed her right arm out in front of her, palm pushed outward as her left hand curled into a fist by her hip. Ahira lowered her chin a bit as her eyes narrowed. "Your power is great, Kazekage-sama. Must you attempt to slay an innocent creature that has done you no harm? Do you wish to test your skills against a human as your opponent?"

As the bird watched he saw as the cloaked man announced himself as the kazekage. It then watched as the kazekage proceeded to take out his sword, but his follower stopped him from attacking. He also saw as the girl scowled at him as he had drawn his sword. The bird merely smiled at the kazekage before letting out one more call. As it continued to watch and listen, he was amazed.

The girl's name was Ahira, but not only that, she was a Henshin. The rumors had been true, though if they were actually the only two left he wasn't positive. The bird hopped off he shoulder of Ahira, facing away from here, as he listened to the rest of what they were saying. After they had finished, he transformed back to himself in a crouched position. Very nice to meet you Ahira, the name's Avian. He introduced himself, though making sure not to use his real name. He wasn't sure whether the hokage had added him to the bingo book or not. As he stood back up he walked over back to Ahira, and to her right side, watching the kazekage.

The transformation of the bird didn't shock him, yet it never even made him blink, when both of the shinobi that stood in front of Kogi and Ballian announced their names; Ballian already knew something was up with the shinobi that transformed right in front of them. "Keep you're hands to yourself..before I take them off, believe me... Kogi will not stop me this time." His eyes shimmered with glaze of darkness and closed them gently then looked at Ahira carefully with a look and disgust towards the man who transformed. "So, what you doing in my country.." He walked up to him and started pushing at his chest making him walk backwards if he must to keep him away from Ahira. Stopping and closing his eyes. "What village are you from..." He closed his eyes and re-opened them looking him dead in the face.

Ahira watched the bird transform into a tall, dark skinned male with dark hair and dark eyes. Her mouth parted slightly as he was a handsome person. But overall, she could tell that he must have been like her. His ability to transform and exude no form of chakra.

Her golden eyes widened a bit. He's...just like me... she thought.

She saw Ballian looking at her and she couldn't stop her heart from beating so heavily. Why was he looking at her like that? Ahira knew that the leader of their village could be quite the busy individual, but was it so strange to see someone he'd never bothered to look carefully at before?

Her eyes moved back to Avian for a second to study him some more. However, her bit of pride in discovery was shoved off to the back burner as the Kazekage himself began shoving the boy, Avian, away from her.

"What village are you from..." Ballian demanded from Avian.

However, instead of intervening, Ahira just watched in silence. She, too, was curious about this boy who was like her. She wanted to know as much as she could about him and if the rumor of them being the last of their clan was, in fact, the truth.

OOC: Mine? If so, it's MY weak post, xD

As Akio stood next to Ahira he smiled and tilted his head to the side as he looked at the kazekage. He wreaked of power, and so did the person beside him. He didn't care about either though, he had mainly noticed Ahira when he had been flying. What would I have done, shook Ahira's hand? He asked, almost annoyed at the question. What would he have done? Stuck an exploding tag to her shoulder? Slapped her? He just kept staring at the man, the Kazekage. He looked different than what he would have expected. Though he didn't entirely know what he was expecting.

As he stared at the man, he started walking up to him and asking him what he was doing in his country. After that the kazekage started bumping into him, so Akio backed up a step or two. Exploring, and looking for people like myself. Short, sweet, and it got to the point. He looked to the sky, a lone hawk was flying by, seemingly paying no notice to the small group under them. Akio sighed, as much as he would love to turn into a bird and fly with it, he knew he had found what he was looking for; Ahira.

Then the Wind Shadow asked him where, or rather what village, he came from. He smiled, he remembered just the other day he had taken his letter of resignation to the Hokage, or at least his men. Heh, I could have answered Konoha until just a couple of days ago. I left Konoha to do just what I said, explore, search for people like me, and be free. He answered, exaggerating 'free' by putting his arms up in the air and looking into the sky. After a second he put his arms back down and looked at Ahira again. He smiled as he looked, and would try to catch her eye. If he managed, he would be sure that he had found who he was looking for.
