The night had just settled into the countryside. The world was at peace at the midnight hour. All was well as children were settling into bed, being sung lullabies to soothe in the sleeping process. The guard was changing soon as the gates were being closed for the night. All was as planned. As the midnight hour struck, the guard changed stations and the patrols were called back. It was a plan of perfect execution. The full moon shone softly over the main villages of the ninja world. A singular long cloud passed over it slowly. A testament to a beautiful night. A picturesque moment.

And then.... Boom...

10% of the southern entrance and homes were destroyed in Konoha. In Kiri, the center of the village exploded and sank into a hole. In Suna, the cliff's covering the western wall crashed on the the homes below. In Kumo, the northern gate was shattered and the people with it. In Iwagakure, the eastern homes on the cliff ceased to be no more as they fell off.

The night was young.... the scars will be forever.

Cheza had heard the commotion, as did her faithful companion, Toboe. Together, they ran towards the office where the Kage would be. They knew something was wrong as soon as it happened: Toboe was an animal, and had great sense of these things, and Cheza wasn't far behind. They were the first to reach the outside of the office, and they headed inside to see the Kage, not waiting for anyone who told them to. She had to figure out what had happened. If she wasn't stopped, she'd enter the Kage's main office, and say three simple words, with Toboe right at her heels- "What's going on?"

Seiko had just returned from Kiri, his mind still in a swirl from what happened. Katsuo was dead and Tamotsu had disappeared from the scene. He was sitting down in the Tea shop, drinking tea to relax his already shaken nerves. He thought that nothing could make it worse. He was wrong. As he sat, he felt the world jump and the tea shop shop furiously. Seiko stook up in the midst of broken glass and wood and ran outside as screams of terror went of. He whistled as several ANBU appeared.

"Investigate what's going on. Sound the emergency alarm and move everyone to the north."

Izaku followed close behind Cheza, not out of any need to help out the village, but for the mere fact that the guiding presence had returned and was drawing him in that dirrection. He was a bit annoyed that his conversation with the wolf had been interupted, but that was not the point; he was still bound by the strings of fate. His eyes still held a sky blue color, however one the way to the kage's office, he had shifted the shards of his blade into the form of a duplicate sword and a three fingered metal gauntlet that covered his left hand. After cheza burst through the door of the office, Izaku slowed his pace a bit and walked in a few seconds after her. The duplicate blade hung lazily in his hand, it's edge resting in a notch on his piece of shoulder armor.

"Indeed.... what is it that has transpired..."

A voice echoed in his head from beyond the fushigi pendant. Izaku, Skye, what's your status? Izaku took out the pendant and focused his thoughts through it. Dark..... There has been some sort of catastrophy in the village of the earth..... what has transpired in the mist?

Ken had just gotten to the village and he had been talking to a villager named Cheza. Then he had gotten a note from a bird which had ordered him to the kage's office. It said something bad was coming, each of their guts felt something catastrophic was going to happen, and soon. Ken was also hoping there would be some news about Tsubaki as well, though he knew it wouldn't.

He had used his jutsu to go underground and then sped through the ground to the kage's mansion at once. Then as he came through the ground he heard it, the giant explosion. His eyes were immediately flying to the east side of his beloved village, and there it had been. The results were terrifying, houses and people were sent down with a cliff. He ran up to the kage's office and stepped inside. behind him about a block were Cheza and Izaku.

Seiko, what's going on!?! He yelled as he reached the inside of the room. He stared at the man behind the anbu mask, the new anbu captain.

Ashe and her Hydra moved swiftly, as they entered the village, to see some big commotion, and the eastern part of the village seemed to have been removed from existence. It was a horrible thing, "What happened here?" The Angelic formed Ashe asked as she landed near the group, before returning to her human form, it was strange, she saw Cheza and went to stand next to her and her partner.

"Hey Furball, what happened here?" Guardios asked, as Ashe looked around, unsure of what else was happening, all she knew was that there was people, and possibly pain to be had, she suddenly wanted to go help just in the hopes of getting hurt, but decided not to, only because she needed to remain professional.

Yuri sighed rubbing her neck tired Yuri?" she yawned slightly as the gates of Iwagakure slowly came in to focus. Of course I'm tired, I've been training for days and its night you know I get tired Riyu chuckled I know Yuri, its just fun to mess with you Riyu smiled lighting a cigarette. She smoked it slowly as she stopped out side the gates Oh my god, what hell happened here? Riyu smiled and looked up at the eastern side of the gate wow, I wonder what happen? Riyu we need to help them please. Riyu chuckled as she flicked her finished cigarette away why should we help them? they have done nothing for us. Riyu! Riyu sighed alright I'll go ask around, no need to get all bent out of shape I'm not bent out of shape, and I figured you would want to find out what happen. Riyu laughed as she walked in to the village lighting another cigarette "thats the only reason, I'm even going to try" Yuri sighed as Riyu walked the streets looking for anyone that may know what had happened.

Shi glided down from the cliff that fell on his puppet just as it was about to fall. He dropped safely to the ground and was ready to attack any intruders. Suddenly ralising what had happened, some of the cliffs dropped. It was bound to happen but this explosion sound must have caused it somehow. With a growl, he listened as the alarm for Iwagakure went off. "Hey could you explain what is going on? Anyone?" he asked everyone at once hoping that at least one of them would be able to explain, since he couldn't.

Zephiel rushed down the path from the mountains, passing by the scene of destruction that had transformed the city. It was odd, he had never felt as if he truly belonged in the village, but seeing it in such a state made anger well up in him. He pushed on all the way back to the kage's office where there was a mass of people already gathering. As he slowed down, the etheral form of his wings completely faded away, leaving him oblivious to the fact that they had ever been there in the first place. He came to the edge of the crowd and tried to see if the kage was even there. Without a good view, he picked his way through until he found himself standing next to Ashe and her emigre again. Just about every member of the crowd was a shinobi of the earth village... but there were a few exceptions. He didn't need to hear what they were saying to know what was on each and every one of thier minds. what was going on? what happened? who caused this? is everyone ok? He tuned these thoughts out, waiting in silence for the real answer.

Riyu sighed as Yuri ran down the street you didn't need to take over I told you I was looking Yuri stopped and ran a hand through her hair her mind spinning the only reasons I took over was cause you where taking your sweet time Yuri shook her head and ran in to the kage's office. A group of people stood yelling and asking the same questions Yuri wanted answered see this is one of the reasons I didn't want to ask, no ones going to know I drought the kage knows Yuri sighed and leaned on the door frame I'm sorry Riyu but for most of my life everything has been calm Riyu sighed and moved her hair out of her face except for the day your family was killed Yuri looked in side the office and sighed tears stinging at her eyes. She walked in and leaned against a wall waiting to hear what was going on, distance sounds reaching her ears making her feel sick to her stomach.
