The night had just settled into the countryside. The world was at peace at the midnight hour. All was well as children were settling into bed, being sung lullabies to soothe in the sleeping process. The guard was changing soon as the gates were being closed for the night. All was as planned. As the midnight hour struck, the guard changed stations and the patrols were called back. It was a plan of perfect execution. The full moon shone softly over the main villages of the ninja world. A singular long cloud passed over it slowly. A testament to a beautiful night. A picturesque moment.

And then.... Boom...

10% of the southern entrance and homes were destroyed in Konoha. In Kiri, the center of the village exploded and sank into a hole. In Suna, the cliff's covering the western wall crashed on the the homes below. In Kumo, the northern gate was shattered and the people with it. In Iwagakure, the eastern homes on the cliff ceased to be no more as they fell off.

The night was young.... the scars will be forever.

Amegaki felt a strange sense, then a loud explosion. he looked up, drinking one more sip of water, then put the glass down. He walked from the ramen shop to see the entrance of the village being blown apart. He turned back around to see the few people still in the ramen shop, then said, Guys, we have to get out of here.... Now! Amegaki snapped his finger, then Kuromaru ran to his side frantically. Amegaki looked around at the people who were now beginning to run in all directions, away from the destruction. Who would attack Konoha. Was this some sort of trick, Amegaki had no idea what was going on. He grabbed a few people in the ramen bar, then hand sealed, saying, Shunshin! Within a flash of leaves, he, Kuromaru, and a few other people he had grabbed, were gone. He wouldn't be saving alot of people, but he would save a few, maybe even if the village was destroyed, the will of fire would live on.

Dante was walking toward the village when he saw a large explosion inside its gates. Fire erupted over the tall walls and smoke filled the air. He heard yells and screams and suddenly everything went into chaos. Dante darted through the gates and saw that the southern end of the village was ablaze and mostly in rubble. People ran everywhere in order to escape. Suddenly Dante's shinobi instincts started to kick in. He began trying to help people leave the village. He moved towards the destruction pointing people to the gates to get out. He saw a man underneath a a large power line and he ran to him. Dante tried to heft the large wooden pole off of him but it was to heavy. So he stood up and drew his sword. "Please, Please help me" Dante nodded to them man and smiled. " It's ok you will be fine stay still Ill cut the pole to move it. Just as Dante was going to swing Spirit Down the cable from the line fell down. sparks erupting from it cut end. It fell right on the man and he began to twitch eradicly. His skin turned dark and smoke formed over his clothes. When the line fell off of him the man went still.

Dante thought he was dead but then he spurted up blood and coughed." Please help, I beg you" ante bent down and looked at the man. He touched his arm and the mans skin slid right off, blood spilling out on the ground. His body was fried, he was alive by some miracle, but he wouldn't stay that way long. Dante wasn't sure what to do. It hurts, god it hurts. Help me! Dante nodded then sheathed his sword again, there was nothing left he could do to keep him alive. He could only do one thing, Stay strong Brother. Help will come very soon. Close your eyes. The man smiled then did as dante said. dante reached down and took his head in his hands, then with a quick jerk he twisted the man's head to the right. there was a sickening snap of bone then the man went limp. dante set his head down on the ground gently then stood up.

He looked around him watching burning buildings, people screaming from inside. A baby walking alone, in the street crying as people ran past him. This is hell, who could do this? Dante had always known that uchiha were better then all others. They were the elite, the rest were scum. but even scum did not deserve to be completely eradicated this way. slaughtered burned alive. He blinked as he saw another smaller explosion occur as it seemed a shop exploded. He saw Kanaru run past him as it seemed that his shop got caught in the aftermath. Dante shook his head then went back to action. Everyone this way, to the gate, get out. Lets g this way." Dante looked around, hoping to find another Shinobi like himself, they could work together to try to some help to these people. Dante was a good couple hundred yards from the main blast area, but already he could see the fire spreading, there was only so much time.

Velidina was about to eat when she heard something big happen- something that sounded akin to an explosion. She stood straight up at the sound, and felt herself being grabbed by Amegaki. She didn't resist, as she knew that he would be faster than she was. However, as he headed towards the exit to the city, she pushed out of his grip. "I can't! I need to help!"

She ran away from the man, back into the city. She saw buildings on fire and people laying in the street, moaning in pain. She quickly ran to where one man lay in the street, the bleeding quite unsightly. She took out her mortar and pestle and quickly made a herbal powder for him, to which she made into a paste-like creation by adding water. She applied this to the man's wound and watched him stop writhing as much. He stopped bleeding somewhat, but he was still unconcious. She moved him out of the way of the other people, and falling, burning debris. She noticed some houses were just starting to catch on fire, and so she focused her water chakra into her hand quickly, and threw a couple of water spheres quickly at the lit portions, extinguishing the fires on the non-burnt building and making the surface wet, at least for a short time. It was one less burned building they had to worry about. She saw a family run out of the very buiding she had saved, and turned to another one close to a fire- the fire this time was intense, and wouldn't be stopped from jumping over by a few small water spheres.

She closed her eyes, making up her mind. She couldn't watch the building crumble if there were others inside. Stepping up, she placed her ear to the building, and heard faint crying. She couldn't believe it- someone was alive in there! It sounded like a little boy, and she charged straight into the building, disregarding the hazard. She ran through the building, listening for the cries of the child. She heard the fire roar, and knew it was now inside this building. She quickened her pace, and found the boy in a closet towards the opposite side of the fire, midway between the front and back. Not speaking, she reached her hand out to the boy, and he took it frightfully. She ran with him, the boy barely able to keep up, and she took out her chain- Mizu Kusari. She whipped a window in front of them, breaking it so they wouldn't have to crash through, and tucked the boy in front of her. She jumped through the window, curled into as tight as a ball as she could, as she hit the ground, giving a loud "Oomph!" She hit her back, and rolled a small ways, the roll absorbing most of the impact from both her and the boy.

She uncurled herself, and the boy looked up at her with pleading eyes. "Come on..." she said quietly, and ran through the buildings, before running into that Uchiha once more. She didn't know what to make of him from their brief encounter, but even if she hated him, this wasn't the time to be shackled by such actions. "Hey, Uchiha-sama! Need help?" Like usual for those that knew her, her voice wasn't too terribly loud, but for her regular voice, it was the equivalent to shouting. It was the best she could do at the moment...

OOC: using another 20TP to Learn ...

Dante started to move people away from the smoke infused air, getting them to safety. the smoke had started to build so much it was beginning to be difficult to even see in the area. His looked down the street he was on and listened carefully. No one else was around and he cleared out this street. The fire was still burning though and he needed to find a way to put it out. he went into his bags to find a scroll from the large supply he recently took from his uncle's library, looking for one that might be useful in a situation like this. he found one, but it was of earth element, he was uncertain if he could use it, but he had to give it a shot anyway. He preformed the hand signs and the spit out a line of mud on the ground. He smiled then placed his hands on the mud flowing his chakra into it the forming carefully. The mud formed, creating a large cliff wall that stretched the length across the street end to end. Breaking through the empty houses and keeping the fire from spreading any further on that street.

Dante put the scroll away pleased with his work so far and then jumped over to the roof of the house on the street he just saved. he looked over to the street next it seeing people still running around, the fire still spreading here. Though with the wind the smoke was not as concentrated and the visibility allowed more people to leave this area. He jumped down landing in the middle of the street. Immediately pointing people to the gates amidst the chaos. p Ok everyone this way, move quickly, to the gate. careful now. Dante looked on as the fire was starting to reach the earthen wall line he made on the on the other side. He turned around hearing a voice behind him. "Hey, Uchiha-sama! Need help?" Dante smiled seeing Vel now standing next to him. it seemed she had the same idea that he did. a small boy clutched in her arms. Dante took the boy from her grip and handed him to a man who was passing by. Take him to safety, you understand!' then man nodded then headed to the gates.

Well Vel good to see you doing your part. We need to keep the fire from spreading. I blocked of the street next to this one, but everything is still burning. We need to hurry. Do you know any earth or water jutsu by chance? Dante looked at Vel, ash smeared on his face and blood on his hands. He was sure that he looked down right scary at the moment which was most likely why the man he had handed the boy to did what he said. But he did not have time to tidy up, things were getting very bad.

An explosion awakened Nikko from his sleep at midnight hour, "So its starting..." Imediately he grabbed his ninja pouch and attached it to his right leg, put on the jacket for the celestial order reminding him of his objectives given to him by the cloud dragon, and he tied the Konoha headband tight against his forehead, he latched on the spear to the strap than ran diagonally.
Downstairs, Megumi had the situation under control, and when she saw Nikko, a flash of yellow flew from his right eye to his left, she nodded, reminded her little brother is a prophet through whom The Cloud Dragon communicates to her, "I'm taking our parents to safety, and I'm outta here," she stated panic rising throughout the village.
Nikko nodded and ran out into the streets. The explosion was a lot closer than it sounded, there house only being missed by a little less then ten blocks. Immediately, he began pointing civilians to the right direction, away from the fires left by the attack. He seen an Uchiha put out the flames with a Earth-styled jutsu. His eyes followed them which led to the gathering of Konoha ninja. He ran over to them, "Nikko Coloso, reporting for duty," he stated offering his help, seeing as he had techniques to help the current situation.

Velidina didn't seem to want to let the young boy go, and vice versa, but eventually they let eachother go, but whether or not it was voluntary was another matter. She smiled at his question, and nodded. "I do, but it's not a big enough one to really do anything too big." She heard another man speak to them, she turned to him. "Good timing! Help us get people out of here! After we've helped all we can, we need to see the Hokage!" she said. Truth was, she was a Genin, too, but she wasn't acting like it at the moment- she wasn't acting like her usual self at all. "The best bet with me is that I can soak one of you or myself and run into one of the buildings and rescue as many as we can. That's how I got that young boy." She was also helping to point people in the right direction. "Shimatta! Where is everyone else?" she wondered aloud.

Nikko nodded, "But for now the Hokage could wait, soak me and I'll grab as much civilians as I can! In the meantime someone has to put out these flames!" He stated, clearly with a sense of urgency,"After these flames are put out, we should rendezvous back at this point." He took out the spear attached to his back knowing there was no need for it in the current situation, and planted it in the ground in front of him.

He turned his back facing the flames consuming the houses, waiting to be soaked, by his new found ally. He mentally prepared himself of the risk he was about to face, willing to save as many civilians as possible, "We gotta do this as quick as possible no time for mistakes."

OOC: Purple Text Represents Thought, Blue Represents Speech. The character is very introspective, so the most common thing you will see is him trying to determine the why's and what's of situations.

IC:

A blast... it seemed to happen more quickly and randomly then Ejiki could have ever imagined. Nothing... that was the aftermath of the moment, a body lay motionless on the ground, a boy it appeared as, hard to tell as his back lay aflame. Conciousness, a breif moment if that, all that Ejiki could feel was pain, the burning sensation of his body and the memories of an event so similar it frieghtened him.

'What is Happening?' these words echoed effortlessly throughout the boys mind, attempting to find meaning in such chaos, but none would come to him.

As Ejiki's body lay on the ground still burning he could eb considered lucky, only caught by the edge of the blast, but time would be running short if nothing would be done to help the boy.

'Why am I here?'

Dante frowned, he was hoping for more but he couldn't do anything about that now. the only jutsu that would help them in the situation that Dante knew was the one he had just learned. But if he used it now then the people stuck in the buildings near the flames would be burned as they wouldn't be able to get them out once Dante put up the wall. Ok then i have I plan we need to- Dante was cut off as suddenly a boy ran up to him and Vel. "Coloso, Nikko, I'm a Genin! What's going on?" Dante looked at the boy, he was wearing the Knoha headband, but his cloak had clouds over it and seemed completely different from anything he had ever seen. Dante frowned to himself, realizing that only genin were out helping at the moment. He guessed that whoever did this was being attacked by the high ranking shinobi. Either way it seemed that Dante was acting in charge at the moment out of all of them.

Dante Uchiha, alright then. Nikko, Vel, listen up. I can cut off the fire with my earth jutsu, but we need to clear the buidlings closest to the fires once that is done i erect a wall and we can move on to the next street, hopefully closing the fire off from spreading. But we need to move Fast! As if to strengthen his words a few buildgins caved in on their weakened structure. A cry broke out when this happened, reaching their ears and then cutting off just as quickly. Dante's eye twitched when the voice was snuffed out then looked at the two of them.

' Well then, you heard me, lets go. Dante headed off towards the fire then, entering the closest building to the fire as the bottom half it started to fall away. his face was hit with smoke and he couldn't see through the blackness. He activated his Sharingan, looking for a chakra source in the area. He turned a corner and saw two figures in the dark, their chakra weak. He picked them up and then ran back out of the building. The frame collapsed as soon as he set the two on the ground. A woman looked at Dante then to her child and then screamed. The child had second degree burns all along the right side of his face. Dante moved them up the street telling them to get to the gates. He then looked around, searching for Vel and Nikko again. Getting ready to perform his jutsu if getting a good report. he looked to his left, noticing a body laying on the grond flames still on its clothes. he went over to it, covering the flames and putting them out. He dragged the boy away from the flames and checked for breathing. He was still alive, still breathing. hey you ok. You awake?
