Slevin had left from his new home walking down the streets quickly, he eventually made it to the Kage tower he looked at it for several minutes before walking in. A short pudgy man was waiting for him "Lord Kage, I'm your assistant your first speech is today." Slevin nodded as the man walked behind a short glass case pulling the ceremonial robes and hat. Slevin looked as him as he walked back giving him the clothes he smiled and did a small bow "Thank you, you are dismissed unless theirs something else." the man bowed back and walked from the building.

After a few minutes he was fully clothed in his ceremonial robes Slevin saw a bottle of brandy and a glass beside it which he helped himself to thinking A little liquid courage couldn't hurt. afterward walking outside to see a large wooden platform along with a microphone attached to a podium. Slevin slowly walked up a short set of stairs onto the platform noticing a crowd beginning to gather, he smiled and waved to a few of them then made the hand signal for silence which he got near immediately. After a few seconds of readjusting the microphone he finally spoke "I know your all wondering what is happening here, it seems your previous Kage has disappeared; the elders thought I a good choice for this job and I accepted." he stopped for a few seconds to clear his throat then continued, "I will help you all as much as I can, but I'm going to need your full cooperation, any questions?" he asked looking around for familiar faces amongst the crowd.

Samonuski shrugged at the thought of another kage, they were moving onto so many kages with in so little time, like throwing out shoes, so many times, so little span between them. Moving to near the front of the crowd Samonuski grinned looking at the kage closer, to him it seemed like a little poser trying to look and act tough. Inside though, he knew to gain what he wanted he had to get trust of all and overall take a title of importance for his plan to work unlike his cousin's plan. Becoming Raikage and trying to help the village to prosperity seemed like a waste of time for Samonuski.

Slevin looked down toward the first row of people seeing a young man smiling up at him, this made him somewhat uneasy, Slevin peered around to see several Anbu waiting if anyone suspicious should show up. Slevin looked into the crowd once again a man had yelled out from the back of it "What do you plan on doing about the attacks?" Slevin sighed and readjusted his collar before speaking "We have no real evidence on who did it, the best we can do right now is shift into a defensive mode." Slevin stopped to clear his throat fidgeting around a bit. He began to speak again in a more dominating tone of voice "We will not be attacking anyone, in these harsh times we don't need to accuse people of things they more than likely didn't do. I hope I have answered your question." Slevin stepped back from the microphone for several seconds scanning the crowd. He saw the man's face again staring for a moment with a bit of a smirk furrowing his brow trying to figure out what he was planning, after a few seconds he walked around the podium unlatching the microphone which after a short inspection was wireless; he hopped off the stage standing in front of the front row looking at the idiot.

"Who have you trained with honestly... sounds like you rather sit on your butt and watch while the rest of us go doing whatever to make sure the place is safe..." Samonuski said wondering what his response would be, though he didn't want to cause an up-rising, he was prepared to stop anyone who was wanting to come after the new kage, even if he had back-up or had power beyond his own thoughts. This time Samonuski was wondering what this new kage could do on his thoughts and toes when someone questioned him of his authority.

Slevin placed the microphone back onto the platform not really having to yell his achievements out "Inuzaka Tamotsu, Well Hyusahi Tamotsu actually. He had a name change recently." Slevin eyed over the man as he spoke seeing if was any way he doubted it thus he continued. Slevin gave a light laugh moving a bit closer to the man within the distance of whispering "I'd rather you don't question my authority, I wouldn't want some stupid peasant to attack you for disrespecting your Kage. Although I doubt that will happen" He moved back a bit giving the man an apologetic smile, even though he was the Kage their was no need to be arrogant or prideful. Slevin continued to eye the boy over, he seemed to be a bit of an idiotic slacker which lead Slevin to chuckle a bit "May seem odd, but you remind me a bit of myself when I was a bit younger." Missing about thirty IQ points of course. he thought after his little comment.

"So you are saying I could be up there shouting out words instead of doing action?" Samonuski questioned looking at him, Interesting... He thought to himself listening to him. "Ever heard of a ninja named Xenpai? I think he would like you..." He said but how he said it didn't sound like a compliment. A peasent would probably more of a match then him... Samonuski thought waiting to see what would Selvin's response this time to his rants and question. To him, Xenpai liking someone would be an insult to the Kinjo Family.

Slevin rubbed his beard lightly thinking about the name the ninja had presented him with "Xenpai the name escapes me, but I know many ninja so it's a possibility." Slevin said with a smirk he had yet to think about what to say what the man's other comment "What's your name boy?" he said staring at the kid who dared to ask so many brilliantly ballsy questions to the Kage as well as man that was near a foot taller along with about one hundred pounds. He chuckled a bit having an idea at how to punish the boy for his disrespect "Pick up the microphone and voice your message that your so obviously dying to get out their, your lucky I'm not the type that takes offense so easily the last Kage would of had a public execution." he said patting the boy on the shoulder and trying to push him toward the platform.

Laughing to himself as he was pushed to the platform to speak aloud, Samonuski coughed trying to clear his throat. "My name is Samonuski Kinjo, my cousin Xenpai Kinjo is a know it all show off." He said stating it through his eyes, "Nothing else to say besides that Kumogakure needs to toughen up seeing how battles are probably still taking place as we speak." Samonuski stated as he noticed that at such an event barely the majority of the ninjas were attended. "Why don't you go off and go help em' if you are so great, prove your worth is my question... Seeing that you've only been speakin' the whole time we have been here, no demonstrations no nothin'." He bluntly said looking at the Raikage now as he was starting to be a little know it all himself as he stated his cousin was not himself.

Slevin gave a venomous glare toward the boy moving to him to to point his mouth was near inches away from the boy's ear "I tried to be nice, I will beat the hell out of you if needed." he said backing up a bit. After he did he quickly unsheathed his Katana and tried to smash the boy in the stomach with the butt of the sword to prove the point that he would publicly demonstrate his authority over the people of Kumogakure. The blow was not enough to cause any real damage, it would inflict a large bit of pain but that was the point of the blow after all Get it kid? he whispered laughing after this and yelling out into the crowd that their had been an accident which most everyone knew was untrue.

Knew he was asking for it speaking more than his name, trying to get his studded knuckles before Selvin could come at was unfortunate seeing how he was now pushed back a bit with a mark that was ruffled out of his Gi. Grabbing his stomach, Samonuski untied the Gi to reveal a pretty bad bruise. Coughing a bit from that, Samonuski knew that if Selvin came at him with all he had, he would be dead with in seconds. "If only if you could do that for the people who are still fighting to this second..." He said knowing his cousin, that weak, pathetic Kinjo, was in over his head at the moment most likely. With that Samonuski looked at Selvin wondering if he would really do anything so bad that would scare the villagers, as someone out in the open like that is understandable but torture wouldn't look good on his behalf, or so Samonuski thought.
