(OOC: Introduction to the Exams where everyone will meet before going off to their designated areas in the Exams Subcategory in the Library.)
There was silence here. An uninviting silence which gave the foreboding feeling of something about to go terribly awry. Yet, there were no signs of life anywhere. On this, a small island off the coast of Kirigakure, the island deemed the Island of Fates. Soon, the next generation of Shinobi will come here with the current generation and their destinies would either be fufilled or lost to the mist below. It was do or die. There was no option to go home when you've made it this far. The time had come.
The Chuunin Exams was to begin.
On the Island stood 3 men who gave off an aura of great importance. These men, called them judges if need be, gave no look of emotion. The stood in their black Shogun-esque robes and awaited the end of the journey from childhood to adulthood. The trial was to begin and the executioner called time would be slowly making its way here. _________________

Natsuke walked upon the great isle of envy. The path which led to only 1 anticipation his win. He was mentally strong, but phsically he was not ready. He was about to make a journy so fierce so antagonized that it would be almost like his last. The path which he took was not of which was supposed to be at his age, but it was his duty as a shinobi to take what is his. He had finally come the Chuunin examinations, his life depended on him winning it was not in his intentions to lose, not this as he walked further he could see 3 people. They looked like judges of some sort, so he moved a bit quickly but acted cool. He came in front of them, and looked them straight in the eye with no fear of dying. Calmly he stated his name with a brisk sense of anticipation what lies next Hello good sirs, I am Natsuke Mai from the sand village. Reiatsu had chose to swim there alongside his wolf, Fenrir so he could get some extra exercise before the exams. He and Fenrir came up to the shore, clothes and fur drenched in the see water. While Fenrir shook himself to get dry Reiatsu took out his canteen which he had put in his waterproof bag and drank from it to wash out the taste of salt water. In the distance he could see another boy about his age walking quickly toward a panel of what he guessed were judges from their appearance. [i] ‘Time for me to make my big debut.’ He thought with a mental smile.
Reiatsu, followed by Fenrir, lazily strode toward the three judges with his usual emotionless lazy expression while his soulless eyes stared into the eyes of the judges. Strangely they had similar expressions to Reiatsu but he didn’t give it much thought. Reiatsu slowly made his to the judges and all though his facial expression did not change, he mentally smirked as he got here just in time to hear the other Genin announce his victory. He stared at the boy with his soulless eyes and told him. “Don’t be so cocky, you’ll have to beat me before that happens.” Fenrir barked in agreement with Reiatsu. Reiatsu then addressed the judges saying. “By the way, the names Reiatsu Hita, genin of Konohagakure, and this is my pet-nin, Fenrir. Shu ran out from a forest at full speed. "Bad Spider! Bad Bad Spider! Go Away!" He had moved down to all fours and was galloping away from the forest, as the front part of a giant spider revealed itself on the edge of the forest. A quick look back showed him just that, and he stood up and slowed down to a walk. "Ya! Thats what I thought! Can't take this, can't take this!" Shu was walking backwards, showing off at the spider, when his foot hit a rock and he fell to the ground on his butt. Freaking spider. Chasing me all the way from Konoha, and the surrounding forest. I thought it would get tired somewhere along the way. Shu shook his head and scowled as he walked up to the island and down the path. Of the two genin there he recognized one as Reiatsu. Shu nodded to him, as he walked up to the 3 judges. "Shu Houkou, To-be Leader of the Houkou Clan, Suna Genin." _________________

Ayame walked up her long silver hair flowing behind her. Her eyes scanning the area. She looked around and saw some Suna genins and she scoffed, These people would be no match for me. Though if I came across Shizuka, there would be an interesting battle. She walked up the steps. Her two wooden swords bouncing on her hips. The wind blew softly, as it followed her along her journey to the place were she would achieve a higher rank hopefully. As she saw the judges she bowed, "Hello, I am Ayame Daikonran Kaitsume, of Sunagakure. It is a pleasure to meet you." She stated looking into their eyes as the wind died down. As she looked around amoung the many particpants she was wondering if her friend would show up, she was hoping so that way Ayame could prove to Shizuka that her wind was better then hers. "I'll show you Shi-chan. I'll show you." Tamotsu had the young genin girl on his shoulder the whole trip through and was not happy about it. He damn near wanted to kill someone if they asked the wrong thing to him on this day. As he approached the 3 officials, he gave a look of slight hate and discomfort by being around them at the moment. He placed the girl down and nodded as he pulled out his papers from his pocket and read from them.
"My name Inuzuka Tamotsu, Jounin from Konoha. I am one of the 4 selected Jounin Protcors for the Preliminary Exams."
He looked at the girl and shrugged.
"And this is someone who has nothing to do with this, so don't mind her." _________________

While people were getting into groups, a Black Cat showed up, but stayed away from the wolves, it's black coat shining crimson in the sunlight, while the creature walked around.
After seeing some genin from Konoha and Suna get there, as well as Ayame, the cat stretched and got up, before walking up to the judge, and listening as the proctor introduced himself.
As the Jounin and the little girl went stood their near the judge, the Cat Suddenly poofed into the tired pale figure of a Kunoichi, dressed with red sandals, in a red kunoichi kimono, with crimson red eyes and black hair with a red highlighted sheen.
"Shizuka of the Night wind, Kunoichi of Sunagakure, here for the chuunin exams." IC: He stood impassably still, his eyes boring into the young shinobi. He said not a word to them but kept them at ease with a hint of a smile. He seemed friendly yet powerful with a hint of ice on the edge of his crystal blue gaze.
He kept his hands loose and ready at attention, always close to the hilts of his dual wazikashi blades which hooked into his belt. His clothing was unconventional; a form-fitting indigo robe which also seemed to open at the bottom. Unconciously he kept his body in rigid form; his footing and stance ready for combat within a moment's notice. Every muscle scrupulously readied for combat. This was a true Swordsman of the Mist; the man known as Hiano Ozanaru.
Within his mind the voice of a demon chattered in his ear. Jokensu, the demon known for his unrivalled skills in sword fighting, continued to discuss the possible strengths and weaknesses of everyone, the terrain, their body and performance rates, and so on. While not in any dangerous situation the demon continued to act suspiciously and with great caution. It may seem troublesome but this paranoia had more often saved his life than not.
This particular time, however, he only gave the words a passing thought and absent-minded response. His attention was on the children. He watched them carefully and observed them with the patience and understanding of an elder. The irony of it all was that he was barely older than some of them, possibly by a few years. However his great training and extensive wisdom passed from genetics gave him the edge early on to pass almost everyone. Nevertheless he should not treat them lesser. He gave them all a warm smile before shifting his attention to Jokensu's new three-strike curve attack style he was elaborating.
IC: Hime walked into the clearing quietly as to not draw attention to herself. She kept her sunglasses off but also had her green contacts in. The less they knew about her weakness, or rather her strength, the better advantage she would have. She siddled toward the judges and spoke quietly but with obvious exuberance to her voice. " I've been registered in the Exams. My name is Mitsuhaki, Hime." She nodded and bowed politely before standing next to the quietest man that seemed odd. He had two separate spirits within him yet they did not conflict. She regarded him curiously but did not ask. Two large falcons, identical in plumage, flew to the island the held the exams. One of which was Kodo the other his Falcon pet-nin Airazor. The two flew through the fog as they approached the island. Kodo spotted a grouping of individuals in a small area and figured that must be where everyone was suppose to meet. Airazor let off a call and Kodo looked to see Tamotsu-sensei standing near three others holding a girl. Kodo quickly made his dissent. The cool wind of Kiri felt good on his feathers. Kodo enjoyed his time on the wing. He didn’t know why but something about it just felt natural to him.
Kodo didn’t like the fact that the Chuunin exams were to be held here. Still it was good he learned how to walk on water and navigate through some of this mist. It should give him an advantage over some of the other Genin that would be participating.
Kodo circled the crowd several times to spy on the other Genin that had already arrived. Airazor followed behind Kodo as he made his rounds. After about the third pass Kodo landed behind Tamotsu and transformed back to his normal state in a poof of smoke. Airazor landing on his right arm. “I am Kodo Raptor and this is Airazor. We are from Konohagakure.” Kodo said as he bowed to the three officials. “How are you doing Tamotsu-sensei? I missed you in Konoha, I guess it is because you left for here already. So it is quite a turnout isn’t it? So many other Genin, some from our village that I haven’t even met yet.” Kodo was excited to be there. All his training will soon be put to the test and he wanted to show his sensei what he had learned. Still Kodo knew it would have to wait. He didn’t want to give away any of his secrets to the other Genin before the exams even started.
