On the post board, there's a list of people names. 5 Names have been selected. 4 for their performance and one for Honorable mentions. The list stands in the center of the crowd as people are cheering for certain names and booing for others. The list reads as such....

I walked into the waiting room all bandaged up thanks to the medical team when they annocened the winners. I put a smile on my face knowing that from this point on i will have to get stronger and show my will to continue growing as i make my way back toward sunagakure to find my master once again. < Now i have to learn more become more then who i am > i thought as i bow infront of the proctors when i walk pass Ken " I want to fight you again during the Jounin exams Ken" i said as i limp my way back out wereing my ninja outfit again with the sand brown cloack of my village for the sandstorms that will be near me when i get closer back to my village.

As Ken walked over to the board to view the winners of the chuunin exams, he felt worried. Sure his opponent had lost his will to fight, and blacked out, but Ken still felt like he didn't do much. As he got within a meter of the board, he started reading, pleased with what he had read. Ken, his opponent Kenji, and the two he met before the exams all succeeded. Tat and some guy named Keto, but that didn't really matter. What mattered was that he and his, friends (?), or maybe just acquaintances had succeeded. As he smiled, he walked away, leaving the crowd and his fellow chuunin behind. No he was going to go find Tsubaki. As he walked away, Kenji whispered in his ear. Likewise. Was all he said back, but knew it was all he needed to say. With that he left, now to find his friend.

Toru sighed as he walked over to the board of announcements. He hadn't been hurt in his battle, but he knew he had failed. He did nothing in the battle besides hide, sure his opponent didn't do much either, but he wasn't going in with high hopes. As he looked, he saw, neither he, nor his cousin Tori had won. He walked away with his head lowered, raising his collar to his himself a bit. He was ashamed, he felt like he had lowered his clan's fame, and knowing his fame hungry brethren, he would be forgotten. He walked away, going home.

Looking upon the board, Xenpai's day was brighten from what happened earlier. Holy... I made chuunin... He thought as he smiled. Looking around, he could tell that the others would also be surprised. "Good job Sté." He said to himself. Looks like I was wrong about doubting my skill... But next time... If the jounin exams are anything like this... I better pick my butt up and get training as soon as I can! I should rest after this though... Xenpai thought as he looked there, turning around, Xenpai headed home.

Sté's heart was racing with anticipation as he made his way through the crowd to see if his name was on the list of. As he looked he saw his name at the head of the others. This filled him with excitement and joy. He had proven to himself that with enough determination and will power, anything is possible, even when the odds are against you. A look of relief went across his face as he read down the list and saw Keto's name. Keto, he did it. He smiled as he looked over at Keto. He then heard someone tell him good job. It was Xenpai. "Thanks Xenpai. Um, it was great meeting you." Sté was surprised to not see his opponents name on the list, Tori. That guy had so much skill, interesting. Sté could then hear some people cheering his name, first and last.

Slowly but surely, all the participants that had reported back began to go up to the board to check the results. One after the other they marched on with high expectations to see that they were selected for the Chuunin title. Of the three boys that met on top of that hill at the doorway of Otogakure ruins, the first to go forward was the ijutsu user as he walked slowly with his head down. He did not want to see his name from a distance if it was to be on the board. He wanted the extra few steps to be able to hold in the results as much as he could, but when he finally arrived he had wished that he hadn’t done so. He looked his face up to the board and his eyes could not help but open up as widely as possible as he skimmed across the results numerous times before his free hand pressed against the board and all the air in his body left out in a gasp.

As he thought, “How Could I…I.I…..So much work done to be just pushed away… I shoul…I should have never allowed them to do it. I SHOULD NOT HAVE ALLOWED THEM TO TAKE ME AWAY!” He punched the board as tears left his eyes and trickled down his face like the blood from a stab wound. With a head hung down low he tried to regain himself, but he could not. He showed weakness and he gained failure, his opponent managed to show compassion, and he gained everything that he had been looking for on this day. He wanted to know if this was all worth it. Was it actually worth him coming to these exams to showcase his abilities like a genius with his art and just be overlooked like a sub character in a novelty storyline? The boy allowed the hard taken in tears to flow like rain, but he released no more groans of disappointment. He had to allow it to rain on this day because never again was he to feel this way. He walked out of the area without waiting for neither Ste nor Keto.

After watching the actions of his friend Nesuki, Keto did not know whether he was struck by happiness for winning, or pummeled by sadness and anger for losing. He took a deep gulp as the boy walked away. He hoped that he was set to wait for him, but in time he would see otherwise. He walked up to the board and placed a single finger on the paper as he did not have far to go as his name was second on the list. He smiled, but he could not help but feel like he was behind Ste with his name being above his. He whispered, “So we made it. This time it is for real.” He continued to go down the short list, and that was when he realized why his friend was so upset. He had failed the exams and he must have felt like the entire world had collapsed on his shoulders. That would have been the exact way keto would have felt if he was to lose during this monument us occasion. He ran for the nearest exit to catch up with Nesuki, but when he opened the door, the boy was gone. He wondered if he was gone for home, or gone forever.

After watching the actions of the two kiri ninja and his seemingly depressed cousin by the way he acted, Tori was ready to go forward. He looked at Ste, who hadn’t moved to look at the paper yet and decided to go before him. He walked slowly while looking at the board from a distance and continuing to walk all the way up to the board. He got as close to be at arm length’s range. He looked at the paper and did nothing else other than smile. What could he have possibly been thinking after seeing that his name was not released on the ballot? He was thinking about joy. What started off as a simple smile bolded into opened lips that set out a chuckle as the boy then was cursed with uncontrollable laughter as he walked back towards Ste and just saluted him while continuing his walk out of the area. His mind thought, “Just as likely. They could not see what I did, so they could not judge my performance. At least now more people can spite me.” He walked from the arena and headed home. Was those his true thoughts of the situation, or was he really anger on the inside. Only time would speak of the truth in the situation.

((OOC:Excuse if this post looks like Ste is still hear or if any of these characters went before Ste, but I did not feel like revamping it after realizing that Ste had posted. Thank You))
