The Decision (Zieg Only)

Rei walked into the mansion looking for her brother. She sighed knowing that she had come up with the decision that he seeked. She walked towards his office and waited outside for him. Not knowing whether he would accept her decision or not. SHe sighed softly sinking to the floor as she hugged her knees, "What am I to do? He's probably moved on with out me." Rei thought outloud to herself as she looked at the ring Eric gave. She remembered all the memories the two of them shared and she wasn't sure of what to do. She missed him but he was a missing nin from Oto. She would have to live up to her duty as a ninja.

Zieg would scratch the back of his head and yawn slightly as he headed through the various halls of his home. He had been busy with signing papers. His return made him even more busy with paper work than he had hoped. He was the type to get his hands dirty. He preferred field work rather than anything else. Regardless he would finish up rather quickly as he wasn't the type to stagger on a decision. He knew just what he wanted.

He would continue through the halls, his long cloak flowed behind him. He would walk and find himself putting his eyesight on his younger sibling who would be cruched up into herself. He walked up behind her.

"Thats no way for a sound shinobi to be." He would speak.

Rei looked up at her brother and sighed, "hello Niisan." She stated looking at him wanting to smile but she couldn't. "I made a decision." She stated standing in front of the necklace with the ring on it. She sighed softly looking at him, "I decided that I am better off a lone. But please don't kill him. I know he has moved on. But if it must be done then I understand." She stated brushing her hair back. She wondered what he would think of her decison. SHe knew she needed to move on and knew that Eric probably had moved on. She had heard rumors but wasn't sure of it was true or not. "Niisan I still care about him. But my duty as a shinobi comes first. Also as your advisor that will come first as well." She stated looking at him. She wanted him to know that she still cared about Eric, but her duty as a shinobi came first.

Zieg would watch her stand to her feet as he spoke. He would cross his arms over his chest. He had wanted to know why Reileyn would sit there and he would soon find out. He opened his ears to her plea. It seemed she still cared for Eric, which was on Zieg's hitlist. He wasn't the type to pity anyone. If it were people he didn't know then why anyone who would do wrong against him. He closed his eyes and thought for a moment as Reileyn spoke. He would take a deep breath and then release before opening his eyes and looking at her.

"You must not understand. You still have such childish thoughts. You call yourself a shinobi. You don't even know what being a shinobi is. Shinobis have no emotion. None. This is why they are called thus. A shinobi is nothing more than a tool to be used by it's leader. You are proving to be an ineffective tool with your "emotions." He would pause for a short moment and close his eyes once more before continuing.
"That boy will die. Theres nothing more to it."

Rei narrowed her eyes at her brother, "These 'emotions' as you call them, are my feelings. Yes I may still act like a child. But I am your sister. I wish you would treat like a sister. Like you use to!" Rei stated hanging her head knowing the man she cared for would once die. She took off the necklace and threw it down, "I refuse to be a cold hearted killing machine. I am still a shinobi but I will not shut off my emotions." She stated looking at him. Tears ran down her face, she wiped her tears away hanging her head. "Zieg-niisan...I will become stronger. I am not ineffective as you would put it. I will prove this to you." She stated, she could feel her temper rising again, as it often did when he talked to her like this.

The ravage Otokage would sigh and lower his head to the side as his sister spoke up against him. It would only make his own "emotions" become anger as she tried to do things on her own. He opened his eyes and looked at her with cold eyes. He would walk closer to her so he would hover over her directly. His eyes stared hard into hers as she started to cry. He lifted his left hand slowly and placed it on her chin and lifted her head slightly.
"As long as you continue to hold those tears and pain in your heart you will never be "effective" to me. The best thing you could do is run off with him if you feel that way. Look around Rei." He would let her head go and walk over toward a window and view the village through his upper floors.
"This is a village of strong shinobi. But also a village of people. People who wish to live in peace. Thats what separates us. Shinobi and people. People have emotions. Shinobis do not. Want to know why? So we can benifit for those above us and help those who don't have the power to fight to live. Don't you see what I am saying? We do have emotions. In order to have them however we must kill them."

He turned to Reileyn and continued. "You however are unaware of your position and cannot tell the difference between this." He would speak harshly towards her. He approached her yet again and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Trust me. I am glad you are trying to do things differently from me but in the world I live in I cannot afford shinobi with "emotions". Not in my world. What do you want to be?" Though it didn't seem like it he was proud of his sister but for what she was worth at the moment her services wouldn't be needed.

Rei looked at her brother. She knew deep the one thing she wanted was to make her brother happy and for him to be proud of her. "The one thing I want niisan...is for you to be proud of me. Thats what I really want." She stated looking at him, "Its been hard for me to seperate my emotions from myself. I've tried." She stated looking at him. Even with his cold stare pierced on her it didn't phase her one bit."The one reason I became a shinobi was so that I was never seperated from you again. If you had to ask me who I would rather chose you or Eric? I would chose you because my family will always come first." She stated looking at her brother. She wanted him to understand why she was the kind of shinobi with emotions, her emotions got her far and she wouldn't part with them. "I understand if you don't want me around anymore. I'll only get in your way." She stated looking at him.

Zieg heard the younger sibling of the Itichi clan explain herself in which Zieg wouldn't really be impressed too much. He would simply listen and brush his hand through his hard smoothly before having had come up with his own response to her saying she didn't think he wanted her around. He would only respond....

"Its up to you to decide that."

With that he would smoothly walk past her and continue on through to handle the day. He had some meetings lined up, as well as some other things to handle. In which case he'd have to simply get the whole scenario off his mind. He trusted his sister would make the choice that'd best suit her. Hopefully it wouldn't be the choice that would force the two to be enemies. Zieg doesn't enjoy having his enemies around for too long and family or not an enemy of Zieg's must die.
