Description: Swallows have may designs, but all have long handles and a blade on either side of it. It usually has some kind of curve on one or two of the blades that aid in disarming. You could wield it in one hand, but it's awkward and you'll only be able to use one side at a time.

A better pic would've probably been the one from the first Onimusha.  But, to me, something like that would be more for a Jounin to handle.

Alright changed, I just said chuunin at first because serge's lack of combat experience on chrono cross. At first I don't think he's much of a fighter.

CHRONO CROSS FUCK YEAH.

I was considering making this weapon, but I couldn't find a good enough excuse.
I would suggest Chuunin level for the weapon. It's not especially complicated, but anyone who isn't skilled enough attempting to use it has a bigger risk of cutting their own foot off.

It reminds me of the weapon Kyril used from Suikoden Tactics... Anyway, I agree with Haldur. The actual weapon would be similar in concept to the katana whereas it is difficult to wield one-handed but manageable as a two-handed weapon.

I'd imagine a chuunin could wield it fine. He just wouldn't be able to get fanc with it without hurting himself or an ally.

Mostly because it's a two-handed weapon.  You CAN hold, and use, it with just one hand, but it'll be very difficult to.  It's like a Katana, in a way.  That's how I see it.
