Appearance: Tetsuya is large for his age, being taller and stockier than most of his peers. His hair is crow’s nest of black tangles stretching down to his brow, just short of getting in his eyes. Expressive light brown eyes often possess a mischievous glint and his mouth is almost always smirking. In terms of attire, Tets usually opts for a pair of black shorts that go down just below the knee, black shoes and a black wife beater proudly displays the youth’s body, already showing signs of extensive physical training. Both elbows and ankles are fully bandaged up, and Tets proudly displays the Sunagakure headband around his neck. At the small of his back on his belt, Tetsuya keeps a small kunai pouch. His skin is dark, tanned from a lifetime in the desert and his complexion fair – a clear indication of his obvious youth. Finally, Tetsuya sports a pair of black fingerless gloves (so as not to impede the flow of chakra for his puppeteering).

Personality: Tetsuya appeals to the Suna stereotype by being mistrusting of strangers, but intensely loyal to those in his clique. A disturbing undertone in a dark sense of humour often makes Tetsuya appear insensitive, however those that know the youth simply realise it’s a coping mechanism; better to laugh at war and its atrocities than cry. Whilst it’s hard to ignore Tetsuya’s initial haughty, sarcastic attitude, those who he considers friends and family see an entirely different sign of the puppeteer – possessively loyal, protective and caring to the point of self-sacrifice.

Description: Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.

Description: Henge no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents. However, it does not grant one the properties of said objects or skills of that person, meaning turning into a weapon will not allow you to cut an opponent and turning into a dog will not give you a great sense of smell.
This technique can also be used in conjunction with someone, who may a person, a pet or a summoning creature, in which case it is called Konbi Henge (Combination Transformation). However, its principles remain the same.
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu - Body Substitution Technique

Description: Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. Naturally, it won't work with another person unless their skill gap is enormous, and the object to replace oneself with must be close in size and weight to the ninja themselves. This technique must be set up a little ahead when fighting skilled opponents, otherwise, you may end up getting struck because you wouldn't have enough time to use it.
Name: Soushuuha - Manipulate Advancing Blades

Description: A useful technique that utilizes chakra to float projectile weapons in front of the shinobi. The user must first put some chakra into a weapon as they throw it, and they can then make it float in the air several inches in front of them. A large number of projectiles can be made to float like this, but it requires greater concentration with each additional weapon and also depends on their size. These projectiles can then be launched at a target all at once, which allows one to have more ranged attack options than if they were throwing the weapons.

Description: This is the very basic technique for all puppet users, it is what allows one to control a puppet by using chakra strings. The amount and complexity of the puppets one can use depend entirely on their skill, and the techniques they can use depend entirely on their puppets.

Background: Tetsuya was born into a ninja family; his father a puppet-maker, his mother a puppeteer. It was never in question that Tetsuya would enter the academy as soon as he was of the appropriate age. A mediocre student, Tetsuya instead focused on physical education and threw himself into his sports and exercise with abandon. His parents were not happy with his apparent lack of talent for any form of chakra control and pressured him to work after school on his ninjutsu skills – an entirely fruitless endeavour. It wasn’t until Tets made the acquaintance of Hiroshi and the fellow student tutored him that Tetsuya’s abilities began to improve. Hiroshi agreed to help the struggling student in exchange for help in a particularly elaborate revenge on the class bully, who had been giving the other students (Hiroshi in particular) a lot of trouble. Unfortunately, the revenge went a little awry and ended up nearly killing the bully. Hiroshi was banished for a year, however Tetsuya escaped punishment, due to his friend assuming full responsibility. Tets managed to graduate as a Genin, however he felt that he owed it both to himself and his parents to train for a year closely on fine-tuning his chakra control so that he’d be better able to utilise his puppet, once he constructed it. A year later, Tets and Hiroshi were reunited in a Genin Team, both eager to make their names as Shinobi of Sunagakure.
