Description: The water clone technique is a simple ninjutsu that creates a replication of the user with a physical body. Because it isn't purely illusionary, it can attack and use ninja techniques, just like the shinobi themselves, but it still disperses into a puddle of water when it takes a hit. The clones created by this technique only possess one tenth of the user's physical ability and chakra level and they are unable to go far from the user or utilize ninja techniques of a rank higher than C, which limits them a lot, but a smart shinobi can make a lot of use out of them. Any special weapons the user may have had on them when using this jutsu will be copied partially, losing any special qualities the original has and only having the same power as a common weapon of that type.
The sun stood over the lands bathing it in its beauty. It sat at its highest peak trying to penetrate the mist that plagued Kumogakure and its heat warmed the earth. Masakado sat under a few branches of a leafy tree and bit into a peach he’d snatched from this fruity tree. His teeth marks wasted no time in encompassing the peach and with a slight burp he was finished. This time he sat in front of a river, which was capped with rapids. It would supply him with as much water as he needed and he knew well that he would need quite a bit of it.
Toaday, he was going to learn a new jutsu and so he took out a scroll that was marked “Suiton: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu” and carefully dived into this new jutsu.

The scroll was made of a durable leather parchment and bounded by blue tassels that Masakado assumed were for mere decoration since jutsu scrolls weren’t usually identified by their elements. That being said, he carefully untied the tassels and unraveled the scroll noticing this particular jutsu had pictures. An almost reminiscing feeling surged through him as he remembered sitting in the ninja academy being taught with pictures like he was preschooler. If they were using pictures to describe this jutsu, it must be pretty complex. Following the flow chart he was going to have to create a clone out of water of himself and put 10% of his chakra into it. This was going to be hard and he knew how to make a regular clone of himself, but this was cranking it up a notch.
Taking a deep breath, he finished reading the scroll and stood up stretching to awake his muscles. He was trying to feel the flow of his chakra and when he felt it he slapped the palms of his hands together. He preformed two exercises for his chakra controlling his chakra into a ball within the palms of his hands and stored as much chakra as he could within them before slapping them to signal he was in tune with his chakra. He carefully walked over to the edge of the river bank and took his seat. His rested on the water before him and he laid the scroll beside him.
“Ok, Masakado… lets get this done.” He said to himself. “Masakado time to make magic!”
Taking an extremely long deep breath he funneled the air out of his nostrils and began molding the chakra within his body and began. Concentration hard on the water in front of him, his hands formed the tiger seal. The water began to dance as the liquid funneled up into a small stream that Masakado carefully tried to mold. It danced once more not cooperating to Masakado’s chakra control. Giving up on this clone, he watched unimpressed as the stream of water slithered back into the river. He scratched his head and began trying again. This time, he’d pulled a lot more water forming it into a ball before him. His eyes were full of glee as he was making progress.

Now he had to shape this ball into his clone. He carefully began pulling at the top and bottom of the ball making it grow. And then it broke. Water splashed everywhere as Masakado tried again. He formed a tiger seal and the water this time began formed into a square. He could make shapes out of it. That was elementary, but molding it to look like him was going to take practice. He took a deep breath and funneled more chakra into his attempts. The square began to expand vertically and within seconds stood at his height.
He stopped, breaking the square and tried again. He molded his chakra and formed the hand seal again and the water crept up in the image of Masakado. It was a rough image that was not perfect at all. In all, he’d been testing to see how much chakra it would take to move the water needed to make him. He was now planning on perfecting this clone and making it look like him.

Letting the semi-doll like version of him fall back into the water, he cracked his knuckles and began adjusting the dolls features. He tried again, this time the doll’s head had a rough copy of his own Mohawk. Yes, it was extremely rough and Masakado scrutinized it heavily plummeting that copy back into the water and tried again.
He tried twice afterward and then he remembered how he’d practiced making a regular clone of himself and he began to think. What if he made it exactly like he would make a regular clone just using the water as his medium? That might work.

Masakado felt good about this idea. He scanned the scroll a second time rereading the details carefully before trying again. He molded his chakra and went about making a clone of himself without substance, except with substance. A cookie molder, he watched as the water began to fill into his shape. Colorless and see through, the copy of himself clearly was like him. With a laugh, his hands clasped into the tiger seal and he wrapped an illusion around the water clone.
“HA!!!” Masakado said, “I’m a freaking Picasso!”
He wiggled his hands carefully and input ten percent of his chakra to keep it going. Of course, there was more things he did to the clone, but he was just testing it out. With a grin, the clone walked out of the water and stood next to Masakado.
“I look good.” Masakado boosted carefully standing up to investigate his clone.
“This feels so weird" Masakado stated feeling his chakra floating inside the clone. It felt like him, which was beyond weird.

“Ok, lets see what I’m made of...” Masakado said taking stance. In one hand, he held a kunai that he had ample skill in. In the other, he balled his fists ready to punch his counter part and follow it up with a rippling slash. The clone of his made the first move, it dropped low rounded its foot to sweep Masakado off his balance. Masakado jumped kicking his into his clones chest sending him flying backwards. A small collected on his face as he watched himself get back up. He felt slightly bad for himself as his own clone got back up and rushed him. This time his clone reached into his pocket and pulled out four senbon as a distraction and threw them at Masakado; he followed it up with a punch for Masakado’s chest. However, Masakado was able to quickly dodge the senbon sweeping clean out the air as his clones punch landed right into Masakado’s chest sending him buckling backwards.
“Ah.. This is fun!” He laughed shaking off the hit and they seemed to fight for hours, beating each other senseless until both collapsed. Masakado fell against a tree and took a nap, while his clone liquidated into a puddle of water and Masakado felt accomplished for the day. He went to sleep happily.

Name: False drowning technique

Description: This jutsu makes the target feel as if they have been submerged in water and cannot swim to the surface. It creates a horrified fear of drowning in the target, and they will struggle to try and hold their breath. The target can still breathe while under the effects of this jutsu, but will feel like they can't. As soon as they figure out that they can still breathe, the jutsu is dispelled. It is used to open the target's defenses temporarily, until they figure out that they are not actually drowning.
[Four days past by]
Masakado returned with intentions that were purely experimental. His fingers itched with a new scroll resting in his hands. His eyes searched around him looking for a target in the sky, on the ground, and in the water. He carefully combed the field brushing through the weeds, through the leaves, and under the toad pads. He hummed a soft song, which the words had been robbed by time but he sung it anyways. Within minutes, he’d found several small animals that were lurking in the darkness around him and he grinned silently to himself as he took seat near the pound on a large oval rock. He silently studied the jutsu carefully reading over how this genjutsu worked. He remembered carefully while in class how genjutsus were simply running one’s own chakra through some one’s cerebral nervous system in order to effectively control that person’s minds chakra, thereby allowing one to affect their targets five senses. Placing his previous knowledge with this fact, he just had to insert his chakra into his target and focus on precise points while controlling the victim. Masakado stood ready to try this.

He quickly searched the areas where he’d found the most life and small rat caught his attention. With a sadistic cackle, he closed his eyes and began to mold his chakra. As the rat snickered to itself and searched for food, Masakado was planning a small little surprise for the beast. With a grin, he’d surrounded the rat’s head in his chakra and like a needle was inserting his chakra with almost pin point accuracy. He a surge of chakra flickered into the rat and the rat frantically looked around wondering what was happening. Masakado began making hand seals to combat this. Loudly he called out, ‘ False Drowning Jutsu.’ The rat wiggled its head looking around like nothing happened…. Strange, Masakado said on looking.
