Stepping from the shadows, and into the sand

The day was early, and many people were out doing their usual business. Suna shinobi training as usual. The peace was indeed something to be envyed. Not a battle has broken out for some time now, and things were going to get better. Or so it seems. In the shadows lurked a mysterious man in the village of the sand.

A man had appeared in the village, moving swiftly. Though he seemed like a lurker, one who would stalk its prey till time was ready his movements didn't seem at all...deadly. He just moved swiftly through the village, walking through the many people. A dark cloak surrounded his body. It went from head to toe, covering him. He appeared as a dark mist, sliding through the people. Some people didn't acknowledge is existence. Perhaps he appeared as if he didn't exist at all. He easily made his way through them without notice.

The man approached the Kazekage's building. Suna shinobi were crawling all over it, like cockroaches in a dirty home. They instantly noticed the person who was obviously out of place. Several shinobi surrounded him. The two standing in front decided to show off their authority. "Who are you?" A butch looking man has said. His was rather big and bulky. A purple eye liner ran down his face, from his eyes, or so it appeared. His head was wrapped in some black cloth.

"Show your face?" Another one said. He was a bit smaller, but the resemblence was no different. He questioned the man's prescence as well. The hooded man simply stood there. His face still hidden in darkness. He lifted his right hand, which had appeared from withen the robe. It was in a seal. The several shinobi prepared themselves. A hurrican of roses then appeared from the man's cloak. It scattered, and started surrounding the men. They all paniced.

"Quick, something is happening. Call all the gaurds to the front. Hurry." Distracted with the genjutsu placed upon them the man made his way into the kazekage's mansion.

Upon arrival he looked around. He had to find Gaara, and quickly. He looked around constantly. It seems all the gaurds were moving to the front. Disappearing with a blur, the man shot through the halls of the building, with amazing speed. It seemed almost unhuman. He made his way quickly to the top where the kazekage should be. Unfortunately the gaurds there were all waiting, knowing the man may be an assassin, planning to kill Gaara. They all surrounded him. The numbers were incredible. "Stop right there! Show your face!"

The man stood there. His voice dark. "I only wish to speak with the kazekage. Please allow me passage." The gaurds looked, some amused, and some rather angry. "I can't allow that. Who are you?" The man stood there for a while, until he finally decided to unvail himself. He lifted both his hands, and slid the hood from over his head down.

The Suna shinobi were shocked. Some studdered trying to utter the man's name. Others petrified with fear. "Its.....its....it can't be...here?" Long red hair flew down the man's face. His eyes glowing red, and stuck on the man who appeared to be in charge of the platoon. "Please...." One man shouted. "ZIEG!!!! ITS THE OTOKAGE, ZIEG!!! HERE!!!!" Many of the gaurds drew swords, kunai, and other various weapons. Zieg remained calm, appearing not at all affected by the show of strength. "Please. I just wish to speak with Gaara. I don't want to kill any of you." Zieg grabbed the hilt of the nodachi from his back.

It seems a battle was to begin. Hopefully it wouldn't turn out as expected from Zieg.

Malekith finally got to Suna. It had taken him less time than expected to complete his jutsu, and he had traveled half the distance here using Konoha Shunshin. He was supposed to meet the others at Otogakure, but he couldn't stand that place for long withotu attacking it and giving himself away.

He walked through the streets, and a Suna shinobi recognized him and approached. "Malekith-sama, you must go quickly to the mansion. The Otokage is here, and we think he wants to kill Gaara, even though he asked just to speak with him."

Malekith cursed under his breath. It was possible that Zieg had heard they were trying to ally the great shinobi villages against him, and was trying to win over Suna for himself. In fact, that was likely, as he was sure Zieg would not come alone to attempt to kill a Kage. He quickly used Konoha Shunshin to appear on top of the mansion, just outside the ring of guards.

"Step aside!" he commanded the guards. "You would be a minor annoyance at best if the Otokage decided he wanted to get in quickly." The guards immediately parted, but only on his side. 'Ahhh... the famous Otokage of Otogakure. How HAVE you been? Not still disappointed at your loss, are you?"

Lava stood up and looked around. What the..? Why didnt I notice?" Lava turned to Renima and Ky. "It's genjutsu." Lava made a handseal "Kai!". Dead bodies appeared in the hallway. Lava drew both his katana from their holsters. He then darted as fast as he could down the hallway, he didnt care if Renima or Ky followed. Lava couldnt wait any longer. The Kazekage cannot die. Lava flicked on his headset. "Eric, come in! Zieg is in the Kazekage's palace. I might need backup soon. I have Renima and Ky with me." Lava came to a staircase and made his way up it. He heard a rustle and quickly made his way towards the noise.

Lava walked towards two figures in the hallway. He saw Zieg and Fyodor. Hatred flew through Lava's body. He resisted the urge to strike down Zieg right now. He knew he would have to play this right. Both Zieg and himself were masters of Genjutsu. Lava put one of his Katana away, holding one in his right hand. Lava approached Zieg. Lava looked through the eye holes of his fox-like mask. "We meet face to face at last. I am Lava Mai, I am sure you remember me form six months ago." Lava stayed a good distance away. He was rready to summon it if it were nessisary. Lava turned his head towards fyodor. Lava whispered, "Becauseful of his Genjutsu. He can kill us with one strike of his jutsu. Stay on your toes."

OOC: I am gone til monday. I will try and get on sooner. Please wait for me. I might be ablew to get on Sunday morning.

Renima slide around the corner coming behind Lava. The Sannin was ready for anything. He had experinced the strength of Zieg before. It was amazing sight to see and he had not even seen the full extent. With in this building lay the strongest shinobi in the entire world and it seemed as if the battle between them was almost inevitable. Renima had a animal with him and they werent effected by genjutsu because they didnt have enough chakra. So if they were caught they would at least have one advantage. Still renima Prepared him self to draw his sword or to use his many jutsu's to fight to his fullest. "Zieg remember me...I've become strong just to rid you from this world." So many reunions and meetings of new, at once. This was quickly going to become the most intense battle in the history of the shinobi world.

At another attempt at humor Ky grinned. "Looks like Ziegs genjutsu doesn't have a sense of humor..." After that Ky left off with Aoimaru following him. "This isn't going to be hard, if he tries genjutsu I will just throw out my Ace and keep it down." Once catching up with Lava he asked if they had a plan. He figured they didn't but it is more fun that way. "Hokage mountain, Saisko, Konoha...... Suna, the kazekage, its shinobi....... No more will die, I will make their deaths mean something!" Ky then lunged forward with a burst of speed on all fours now with a goal for vengeance and justice after softly naming those things. "IT ENDS HERE!"

OOC: Lava I never killed anyone btw.

Zieg remained vigilant after being approached by a Konoha shinobi. He tightened his grip on his nodachi, expecting some sort of battle. He didn't intend to fight anyone, but it the time came. "All I want is to see the Kazekage. Nothing more, nothing less. I have no business with you."

He didn't at all expect the reinforcements to arrive. Several Konoha shinobi, and another one from before. "Well if this isn't a bundle of surprise. If I didn't know any better I'd say my arrival was expected. No matter." Zieg shook his hand. "I guess I can't stick around. No advantege on my side." Zieg made a seal with his hand, and from within his cloak a flurry of roses appeared once more. His actual body disappeared, while all that remained was his cloak, which soon fell to the floor.

Zacara appeared in an explosion of leaves a few meters from the group, just as zieg disappeared. He sighed then turned to the group of shinobi. "sorry im late, i got held up......" He slowly walked over to them, levitating a fuma shurikan in the air above his hand as he slowly rotated it with the wind.

He turned his head over to where zieg just was and sighed again. "so, he's just going to run for now, eh? oh well, we'll catch him again eventually." He launched the shurikan into the air with a sudden burst of air and caught it on it's way back down before returning it to his cloak, then waited for the hokage's next order.

OOC: I am assuming Zieg used Shunshin, otherwise he would have said he was using Genjutsu, since I would still be able to see him.

IC: Malekith looked near and far and there was no sign of the Otokage. He was pissed that all the others had arrived. Had they waited, he could have at least worn Zieg down and made it an easy assassination, but no, they couldn't hold back. Still, they had stopped Zieg from potentially gaining Gaara as an ally, so it was all well and good.

"You guys, I don't think he was trying to kill Gaara. I think he was trying to ally with Suna. I know Gaara isn't stupid, but Zieg is more powerful now, and he just might have."

He waited for the Hokage to respond and give new orders. He wasn;t supposed to be here, but he knew he had made a lucky choice.

Renima watched as the Otokage dispapeared. "If he would have stayed he would die. I was hoping we would get lucky and end this" The kage bunshin dispeared and the sannin came around the corner. "as usual luck is not on our side." it will be a little while before he reaches oto, but....will he prepare a attack against konoha when he get's there." He looked back in the direction of his village. "if he show's My clan will come to aid and val is still there but should we send someone else back." Renima didnt want to go back but he was cautiouse he wanted to fight. more so than anyone. He hoped the kage would disagree on this one and send all of us and once and have suna as reinforcment's.
