The sound of bootstraps slapping against the dirt road echoed throughout the village. The village itself was small, a couple of shops for travellers, a small tavern with only house on tap, and a well, in the dead centre for the locals to use.

A hooded figure stopped, and the bootsteps faded away, the head turning toward the sky and looking long and hard at the full moon, its dusky gloom shown brightly down, illuminating the partially canvased face. The face itself was rugged, a man with less than freshly shaven facial features, long black dreadlocks made their way infront of his eyes. The man made a smile, not the kind you would expect from a child, or a friend, this smile was the kind of thing horror movies are famous for, teeth as rugged as the man, christened with two metal plated canine teeth, perfect tools for his evening plans. The bootstrapped steps could be heard once again as the man began to move closer to the town center, and turning toward the tavern doors a single thought rummaged the mind of the beast,

'Tonight... Will be my first, Massacre.' Thee bootstrap echo resounded throughout the town, almost as if the man intended to be heard.

OOC: sorry for the delay

Her shadow danced in the candle light, shifting and mutating alone along the wall behind her. The black hood that she wore covered her beautiful face, revealing only a shaded mouth and the purple ends of her hair. She sat a alone at the table, watching everyone in the bar carefully. The place was filled by the humans enjoying their beverages and yells chants of excitement and they played their drinking games. It had been a while since she feasted, and she would have to do it soon if she wanted to continue to live. But finding a suitable meal in a crowded place like this would be difficult. But all she had to do was wait until some careless enough strayed her way. She couldn't help but crack a smile, thinking of her next victim and she would play things out. Obviously trickery. It was her specialty after all.

A man, drunk of course, wandered over to her table and sat down. He chugged the last of the beer he was holding and slammed it down on the table. Mononoke did not move, or show any signs of interest, she simple stared at him. The man studied what he could see of her with a sly grin, "What's a pretty lady like you doing in a rough place like this?" He said with some kind of 'charm.' Perfect She thought with a grim smile. "I think I'm lost," She said with an innocent pout, "Won't you be a gentleman and guide me back to my house?" The drunken man didn't not hesitate to agree, after all he thought he was about to get some from a beautiful maiden. "Well of course I will." He replied standing up and extending his hand for her to take. She gently placed her hand in his and stood up, following as he lead her out of the noisy bar.

She walked in front, leading the drunk to her home. She walked gracefully and made no sound as she made her steps. Meanwhile the drunk didn't quite do the same. He stumbled around trying to keep up with her speed. Mononoke walked fast and turned the corner into a dark alley; she was very eager to feed, and the quicker she could lead the man away from the crowd the better. The pitch bitch sky would give her the cover she need, and if that wasn't enough she would have to resort to plan be. The drunk stop in the alley, supporting himself on one of the walls. "Come on," She said in a very inviting tone that would make ANY man follow her. The drunk immediately obeyed and began walking again with a triumphant smile.

When the two were finally in the alley the woman stopped. Slowly she turned to face the man who had just caught up with her. Mononoke removed her hood, revealing her beautiful young face and her blond hair. She moved towards the man and gently pushed him up against the wall. The man did not resist and she stroked his face and moved in for a kiss. Their lips locked and she held his face with both hands. Meanwhile, enjoying himself very much, the man took his hands and place them on her hips. Suddenly he heard a voice in his head that sounds exactly like the woman's, You don't even realize it do you? the voice echoed. Almost instantly after that he began to feel weak. As if the life was being sucked out of him. But in fact, it was his soul. The banshee continued to kiss the man, consuming his soul. Finally she stopped and the man's soulless body fell limply to the floor, "Pig." She muttered and flipped her black hood on again.

She crept back to the tavern hopping no one had seen her kill the man. As she drew closer see noticed another man before her, large and savage-looking. She turned quickly, pray that this man had not seen anything that would cause the town any panic and drive her out.

((OOC: Woot! Finnaly get this started!))

The echos stopped, bootsrapps slapped against the mans ankles as he stood motionless, something was nearby, and watching him. The breeze blew a scent his way, not the kind of stunken human stench he was accompanied to in a town such as this, but rather a familiar scent. Something he had not smelt since his time at home, the reaver knew what he had been girfted with on this dark evening,

"Ahhh, You smell lovely" he said in what could only be described as a sadistic tone, turning his head the man looked in the general direction of the other his hood reavealing nothing but a pitch black face. The man smiled under his hood, too a normal human his forbodding presence would have sent them screaming, he knew only a cursed would have remained, and besides their scent is unmistakable. Raising his right and freakishly huge hand up he pushed the hood up, revealing his pale skin, unclean beard, pitch black dreadlocks, and grey eyes. His smiled could know be seen as he spoke,

"Are you here perhaps... to join me for dinner?"

She turned slowly, her hood still up as well. This wasn't an ordinary human or she didn't think he was. There was something about him that was different from those pigs that cluttered this world. She didn't speak, at least not with her mouth. She seemed to float on the shadows as she made her way closer to him. Her lips did not move yet her words were still his, You're not human are you? Her thoughts entered the mans head through means of her telepathy. She was not scared, their was no reason to be. Even he meant to harm or kill her, any attempts to do so would be unsuccessful. She was almost by heard side when she spoke again, this time with her vocal cords, "So. What does that make you? The man removed his hood to reveal a barbarian-like face. She immediately ruled out vampire, so all that was left was werewolf or reaver, that was of curse, if he indeed was a Cursed. However she could think of any other this man could be. Her knowledge of clan wasn't great for she only knew her own and a few others who were quite popular in the ninja world. She moved close to him, looking in to the gray eyes of the man. Slowly she removed her hood, letting her beautiful blond and purple hair fall a little past her shoulders and revealing her piercing blue eyes. That would greatly depend on what you plan on eating... She said with a twisted smile.

The reaver stood cold and motionless as the banshee spoke in his head, not wanting to return the conversation he allowed her to continue. The man turned his head toward the moonlite sky, its glow illuminating his eyes,

"Hmph" shook out of his closed mouth, still spoken but not with any amount of certain effort or class. The reaver reached with both hands to the lips of his hood, pulling them forward once again and across his face, smiling slightly before the hood covered his facial expression. Turning away from the woman he approached the door of the tavern one again, his bootstraps slapping as majestically as before.

some words echoed throughout the womans head, "You know, Its rude to ask about someones... Diet..."

She sneered and put up her hood again to hide her face from those inside. "You know, Its rude to ask about someones... Diet..." Again she laughed, "I didn't realize a man like you would be so sensitive." She opened the door and held it for him to enter. The tavern was still loud and lively, even though it was quite late in the night. She looked around for the best table, one that didn't have many around so that the two could talk. She quite curious about this man, and she wanted to ask questions without being intrusive. She sat down and beckoned him to sit with her. So. You never did tell me what you are...

The hooded man followed the woman into the tavern, sitting at the table she chose, but before openin conversation he turned his head and waved to the barmaid,

"Hey! Ill take whatevers on tap, pronto"

the woman cursed about his rudeness, but the man didnt seem to mind. turning his attention to the lady across from him,

"What I am eh? Ha! why I should ask the the same question! But id prefer to take home a meal tonight without the resta the pub knowin eh?" The man had been loud, but the other patrons hadnt seemed to notice. A voice echoed in the womans mind,

"I eat the bone with the chicken, If ya catch my drift"

She smiled a bit, "A Reaver huh? To be honest I haven't seen your kind in a while." The barmaid came back and brought them their drinks. She had ordered a water, it was the only kind of drink that she liked. She fingered the glass a bit before taking a small sip. "I, myself, am a Banshee." She told him as she put the glass down. "So what brings you to this place? I can't imagine you finding a suitable meal here." She looked around the tavern, mostly men. Mononoke wasn't a fan of humans, but she wasn't strong enough to do anything about their existence, at least not yet.

The reaver looked curiously as the woman spoke about him not finding a suitable meal in the tavern, scratching his chin scruff a bit as he spoke,

"Babe, I dont know what youve heard, but Im not exactly partial to a particular type of marrow, its all the same to me" smiling the reaver continued, "Names Kura by the way, but you can call me K". Without waiting for the woman to offer her name he stood up, slamming down his beer,

"Is it just me, or does this stuff taste like mule piss?", the larger patrons immediatly stood up in rage, most of them overweight from their alchoholic adventures. Most of them made rude and cursive remarks, but Kura stood their emotionless waiting for the first attack.

The man stood up and shouted insults about the drinks, probably not the best thing to do in a busy tavern such as this. She sat quietly as Kura made a scene, drinking down the last of her water. She had a smug smile on as she looked around the room at the angered customers. As if they had been insulted instead of the poor performance of the tavern. Mononoke looked at the man, "So tell me, how well did you think that through? She asked. She wouldn't be much help, if any, if they all wanted a fight. After all, banshee's were physically inferior to the other cursed.
