Background:
At first, Shintaya was just an unnamed, untamed wild hawk in the outskirts of the Fire Country. While Velidina and her brother were walking along, her brother noticed a hawk watching them, as if curious about what they were doing. Looking the hawk straight in the eye, Velidina's brother coaxed the hawk down to him, and fed it some treats. Of course, after that, and a few pets, it flew away. But it kept coming back, and eventually stayed with the group. The hawk found that it liked the girl better than the boy, and started to grow attached to her. Then, when the boy and girl split up, the hawk followed the boy around for a while, at his behest, saying that later the hawk could return to Velidina. The hawk obeyed, and then later, the boy ushered the hawk to Velidina, saying she was near where they dropped her off at. He also said to the hawk not to approach the girl until she wore a headband like his. The hawk obeyed once again, waiting until the right moment to return to the one it liked better.
Finally, the hawk noticed the requirements were fullfilled, and swooped down to Velidina, who immediately recongnized the hawk, for it had a letter attached to it from her brother. She didn't need to read the letter. She now had a friend back, and gave it a name- Shintaya. _________________

Actually, this is just a normal Hawk. So, it's just for recon. The only thing would be that Velidina understands what it means by its calls. There's really no jutsu that Velidina knows of for pet-nins. And can't you have only one style? _________________

You see, ideally fighting styles determine your skills as a ninja in addition to general strength defined by rank. However, that system is really... out of joint right now, and always was really, but I am working to make it more... substantial.
Either way, if it's a normal hawk, it doesn't matter. Approved
