Personality: A majestic and prideful creature, Seikimaru has rarely deigned to reveal himself to humanity, his life is one of solitude and travel, never staying in one spot for very long. Seikimaru is very noble, he does not seek to harm anyone or anything unless he comes under attack or has no other choice. He is a very serious creature and simply does not joke around or play, he believes that he deserves respect from everyone and becomes offended if there is no respect for him. Seikimaru possesses the unique ability to mentally communicate with other beings, which of course proves to be incredibly useful as he himself cannot talk. Against all odds this ageless creature has formed an incredible bond with a very mortal man, Yasuo Amano, the two share a mutual respect for each other and it is only Yasuo who is allowed to ride on Seikimaru's back, indeed even make contact with the beast.

Background: Seikimaru is a creature of legend, he has existed since time immorial and is supposedly the first canine creature ever to walk the face of the world, and walked the world he has, Seikimaru's journeys have taken him accross every continent and every country, there is likely not a single place he has not visited in his life time. With his immense physical presence and obvious affinity to fire, Seikimaru has been attributed with natural disasters such as volcanic eruptions and forest fires, he has also been pinned as the cause of the first spark of flame to appear in the world. Through the course of his life he has very rarely been seen by human eyes, this had lead most people to believe that Seikimaru, The Spirit of Fire does not exist and that he is simply a legend. However there are those that tirelessly chase legends and mythical creatures in the hopes that they may somehow obtain the power these beasts hold, it was these people who finally caught up with Seikimaru in the forests close to Iwagakure and these people who almost killed him.
At this point an unlikely situation arose in which Yasuo Amano stumbled accross the scene, he did not know Seikimaru's true identity though he did know that these people were trying to kill the beast. The Tsuchikage intervened and prevented Seikimaru's capture, the two fought together and saved each other's lives in the battle that commenced, through this event the two forged an incredible bond with each other. Sekimaru has stopped wandering the world and generally remains in the same area as Yasuo, although he does not stay directly at the Tsuchikage's side as he is still somewhat of a loner and dislikes large amounts of people.
