Zephiel touched down on the ground, flapping his wings one last time to halt his momentum. After giving up his fruitless search in Iwa, he decided to travel elsewhere in search of his answers. His long journey had been made much easier by his newly acquired flight and his travel time had been cut down significantly. He was unsure why exactly he had arrived in the fire country. A short while after leaving the boarders of Iwa, he had started to feel a strange presences. Having no other leads, he decided to follow it. Long story short, a journey of several days had brought him here; the plains on the outskirts of Konoha. A small lake opened up before him and a lone tree stood near the water's edge about 10 feet away. The earth at the shore seemed to have been formed unnaturally, creating a shear 5 foot drop tot he surface of the water. From the air, the land had appeared to be scarred, as if this place was once the site of a battle, but the land appeared to have had enough time to start the healing process.

Zephiel looked around a bit more, but besides the lake there appeared to no landmarks nearby; just rolling plains. Shrugging, he walked over to the tree and used his wings to fly up onto one of the thicker branches. Over the past several days, his wings had seemed to become natural to him, like he had known how to use them for his entire life. Whats more, so long as he was in contact with his pendant his wings didn't dispel on their own. In fact, when he did dispel the chakra, the wings often reformed on their own. Eventually he gave up trying to suppress the strange chakra; It really didn't take up that much energy anyway. He sat down on the bark and found himself gazing out across the vast plains. He found it slightly humorous that this tree was the highest point on the plains that he could see. It gave him a relatively good vantage point of the environment around him. He wasn't used to a view that wasn't completely dominated by mountains, so he enjoyed the scenery despite the lack of prominent features.

The strange presence that he felt upon leaving iwa was still nagging at the back of his mind, however now it was split into several smaller presences. All of these were still drawing him to somewhere beyond the horizon, but he needed a bit of rest and the sun had just passed behind a hill in the distance, leaving the area covered in the darkness of the new night. Even as the world around him darkened, the immediate area was illuminated by the greenish glow of his wings. He realized that the glow would allow him to be seen from quite a distance, but at the moment he didn't really care. His golden eyes simply scanned back and forth as the world around him slowly grew ever darker.

Yusuke wandered through the woods by his home where he usually went and practiced his agility and speed. This time though was different, for some odd reason he kept on exploring the woods not knowing where he would end up or what was there. At this time of day it really wouldn't be a great idea for anyone to travel through the woods unless he were capable of defending himself. He looked up to the sky only to see the sun disappearing behind the trees and the moon glowing in the sky.

Yusuke continued to walk through the woods for some ways until he really had no idea where he was. It was like he could fly to the top of the trees as he leaped from one to the other until reaching the top of the tallest one near him. Scanning the area around him he could see the village on one side of him and the old war plains on the other. He squinted his eyes as he seen a small green glow in the plains. Being the curious person he is Yusuke had to follow the green glow.

Yusuke jumped from tree top to tree top with ease until he soon reached the plains on the other side of the forest. He leaped down landing with graceful ease, with the help of the wind pushing against his body to slow him down and soften the impact. He looked up towards the green glow still there that seemed to be higher than the grassland below his feet. Yusuke tilted his head as he closed his eyes and felt the wind blowing around him. It was like another sense of his, he could feel the presence of someone near him. Good for him he had his senbon, kunai, and his large metal fan in case this person wanted to fight. He sprinted near the tree with light footsteps like he was walking on the wind below his feet until he came to a stop and looked up. The green glow was brighter and it seemed to be what was.....wings??

Save the sound of the wind blowing, the plains were completely silent. It was for this reason that Zephiel could even hear someone approaching him. At first it just sounded like some animal scampering across the grass, but then it grew slightly louder. Finally, his eyes locked in on a silhouette that was charging straight at him. On instinct, he grabbed his bow off his back and stood up on the branch. With a single fluid movement, he took and arrow out of his quiver and placed it on his bow string. His wings flexed out, spreading to their full span of about 15 feet. The gentle wind that ran across the plains caught the fabric of his scarf and made it trail in the air behind him. He looked down the arrow's shaft at the figure as it drew ever closer, tracking its movements.

His tired mind couldn't quite make out what exactly was moving towards him. He had no enemies in konoha that he was aware of, but he didn't want to take any chances with wild animals. Just as Yusuke was about reach the area that was illuminated by the wings, Zephiel decided against using his bow. He put his weapon back and reached under his scarf, grabbing one of the hidden kunai. He focused his chakra, vanishing from the tree. The glow changed position, now making Yusuke cast a shadow onto the tree where Zephiel had been just a moment ago. Holding his kunai to the back of the leaf ninja's neck, Zephiel stood in silence, his golden eyes scanning over the ninja, watching for any move he might make.

Description: This is a speed technique, which has two uses. It's primary use is a sudden burst of speed used to travel a few feet in any direction. It takes chakra but can be used alot. However, if you use it too many times without a break your physical stamina will wear down faster. It's second use may only be used as a Chuunin or higher. It utilizes handseals and more chakra to enable you to travel greater distances, much like Shunshin. This is only far enough to carry you out of a battle and shouldn't be used to travel long distances (unless you have a large amount of stamina and chakra, and don't intend on fighting that day).

Yusuke kept his eyes on the glow in the top of the tree as he came to a stop. His eyes however, couldn't keep up with the speed of the....thing but Yusuke soon seen his shadow on the trunk of the tree and felt a kunai on the back of his neck. He stood the perfectly still without an emotion his face and his heart rate at the same speed, this didn't bother him at all. The wind around the two flowed like a gentle breeze until a gust of wind shot in between the kunai and Yusuke's neck. This allowed him enough time to grab some senbon in one hand and a kunai in another while jumping up the tree.

Yusuke stared down at the other shinobi before speaking, "I'm not an enemy, I am only here based on curiousity." Yusuke never let his guard down as his eyes stayed glued on Zephial and the wind blew a little harder than earlier. Yusuke's tornado pendant on his right wrist shimmered in the moonlight as the wind blew it in small circles. Yusuke just stood there awaiting on the others decision before he decided to take some kind of action.

Description:
Inbuilt power bestowed upon all clan members by the demon long ago. it allows them to control wind as though it were an extention of their body and then say the level of power that awakens within depends on how much they have physically, and mentally grown. With the beginning levels of this ability the clan member can block and create a gust of wind for kunai and shuriken to block.
with higher levels of this ability can block a person and blow them away from the user of this clan. Clan members have the ability to create "sharp" wind, create massive gusts that allows to damage the opponent as well as create huricanes and cyclones which have a massive amount of chakra drain on the clan member.

Zephiel jumped back as the pulse of wind took him by surprise. While he was in the air, he flapped his wings, taking flight so that he was on the same level as Yusuke. The boy had made no move, no handseals, but he still used some sort of ability, and Zephiel had not been expecting it. How curious... As his wings moved, the light that they produced made the shadows across the ground continuously shift. He was about to try something else when he heard the leaf ninja speak. He didn't trust Yusuke's words; he had been through too much to just believe someone when they said they were not a foe. He'd been tricked by such a claim before, and he had the scars to prove it. As he hovered in place, he kept his eyes locked on the ninja while he spun around his kunai on his fingers. He stayed silent for several moments as he watched the boy for any sign of an attack. When there was none, he relaxed a bit. Through out his journey he had a strange feeling, like something was amiss. It was almost like someone or something had been shadowing him the entire way. at this point he was just being overly cautious.

"Fine, you're not an enemy. What exactly are you doing out here then?" He kept spinning the kunai around his left hand, beating his wings every few seconds to stay afloat. He didn't plan on getting caught off guard again.

Yusuke eyed the boy in front of him as he flew straight ahead of him. He watched as Zephial spun a kunai around his finger as Yusuke put his weapons back up and grabbed his fan before unfolding it. He held it behind him as he listened to Zephial speak to him. "Well I was in the woods in Konoha training until for some reason I wanted to go even further until I came out here. That's when I seen the glow of your umm...wings." Yusuke still watched Zephial until he noticed his headband, he was from Iwa.

Yusuke unfloded his fan and jumped on it in mid air before gliding down on his fan and jumping off onto the ground. He used the wind to blow up on the bottom of his fan to help slow down his fall. He waited on the ground until Zephial came down to eye level. "Why are you here? I mean you're not from Konoha, what business do you have?"

When the boy made mention to his wings and put his weapons away, Zephiel glanced sideways at the chakra wings. Just great... I hope these things don't get me too much unwanted attention. He spun his kunai around one last time, throwing it up in the air then catching it and putting it back under his scarf. He focused up his chakra again, vanishing from the air and appearing back on the branch where he had been before. He gazed down at the boy with mild curiosity. He held an interesting power that was much different from his own. Of course he realized that the leaf ninja probably found him just as strange, but he didn't care about that too much.

He accepted Yusuke's excuse for being there, but he was hesitant to answer his question. He still didn't trust him at all, but then again, he felt he owed at least some form of explaination. "You'd be correct, I'm not from here. Even if i wanted to tell you why I was here, I wouldn't be able to explain it. I don't even really understand it." As he became more calm, his wings folded against his back and the glow lessened slightly.

Yusuke face was of course calm the whole time nothing the other male did upsetted him nor excited him. Well except for the wings but you wouldn't be able to tell it from his face. He nodded as Zephial gave him an explination although it wasn't very informant but it was good enough for Yusuke or at least for the moment at hand. "Since we have lowered our guard'at least a bit anyway'my name is Yusuke Seath from Konoha," he spoke to Zephial as he laid his fan across his back and stood there waiting for a response. His blood red scarf blowing in the wind the swept past him. If for once you actually see Yusuke uncalm the wind is one thing that will soothe him back down to his natural self. He watched Zephial and his wings loose some of their glow as he rested them on his back.

While Yusuke was waiting for Zephial to respond he thought to himself about what he had said, 'What does he mean by "he doesn't even understand"?' Of course this explination puzzled him a little and made it a little harder to trust the outsider. Yusuke still however kept his calm and thought rationally before even touching a weapon.

Zephiel shifted his position so that his legs were hanging over the edge of the branch and he was facing Yusuke directly. His own scarf acted in the same manner as the leaf ninja, the fabric cracking in the wind just behind him. He reached down to his belt and grabbed his wolf pendant, holding more out of habit than for any other reason. As he did so his wings grew bright again, the glow strengthening so much that they actual became brighter than they originally were. The details which were fuzzy a moment ago came into focus and the second smaller set of wings became more distinguishable. Zephiel realized what had happened but he had since discovered that the trinket seemed to strengthen his powers. The stranger introduced himself, but the only real thing that Zephiel payed attention to was his last name. The Seath clan? Never heard of them before... but he must have some sort of bloodline. How else would he be able to use such an odd power? Once again, he was hesitant to introduce himself, but his sense of courtesy got the better of him. "Nice to meet you." I guess. "My name's Zephiel."

Lowering his guard a bit, he looked up to the sky. The edge of the horizon still held a faint amber glow, but the other side of the sky war pitch black save the glow of the stars. The stars always seemed to be able to hold his attention, their glow put him at ease in some respects. After a few moments he looked back down, returning to his concentrated watch. People had always caused him nothing but pain, why would this one be any different?
