OOC: This Match is between Gideon Hicross V. Katsuo Norimune. Battle will begin when topic is unlocked. Note that it is sunny, clear skies and humid. The coliseum in width is about 100 meters wide, and from hieght is about 60 meters high. The coliseum is beige colored, and the ground is full of grass and there are a few trees on the outskirts of the arena. There are also many types of insects including spiders and catapillers, and other like insects. The Coliseum itself is packed with full of regular ninja and warlords betting on these types of matches. _________________ Thanks Doll Your a keeper. The mizukage appeared in a flurry of mist, showing his own village with it's mark. There was a small tournament he had signed up for a while ago for some fun, and here he was. Thousands of ninjas were watching this fight now. He walked forward lazily, his seion walking stick hitting the ground and make a quiet 'crack' sound every time, was really just for show and defense, though it was nice for hiking. He was sure he's use the two new jutsu he had learned just a week before, he was sure they'd be a lot of help. He smiled as he got to the middle of the arena, waiting for his opponent.

As the mizukage stood waiting for his opponent there was a rather odd gust of wind which swept through the arena and with a flurry of leaves a mysterious figure hooded appeared in front of the newly appointed Kage. The black hood which casted a shadow across the man’s face held the leaf symbol engraved on a rather light piece of metal. The man himself had a very strong smell of wood which seemed to fill every corner.
“So you’re the new Mizukage?” The figures voice was rather crackly and quiet as if he had suffered a server wound to his neck at some point in his life. “I expected something... well... more then you.” Dropping the roll of bandages which held his unique puppet the figure looked through the shadow of his hood and straight into his opponent’s eyes with his own sinister red eyes.

The mizukage smiled as his opponent appeared, the same jutsu as he had used to come. A little more? You'd be amazed what a little less can do for you. He said smiling, pulling out a katana from one of his several scabbards. Then the new boy, Gideon, released his bandages from his puppet.
May the best man win. He said smiling.
He then jumped backwards, skidding across the ground as he landed. He looked to the boy as he formed his first string of handseals, then opening his mouth. Water then suddenly rushed out of his mouth, exploding into more water upon hitting the ground. Within seconds there was a new battleground, a small lake. He then looked back to Gideon smiling, making sure he wasn't up to anything to extreme.
Then suddenly a bug ball of very quick, swirling water appeared next to him. This would be used for defense and offense. It continued floating around him, doing nothing, but surround it's user. Then suddenly a tendril made of water shot at Gideon, this could bust through rock, so it would most certainly bust through flesh, or wood for his puppet's sake.

Description: After forming the required hand seals, the user will expel of water from their mouth, which will then greatly increase in amount in a watery explosion. This water can be controlled by the user to some extent, but is mainly used to alter the battlefield and as a set-up for other water element techniques.

Requirements: Water as first element
Description: This jutsu does not require any hand seals. The user will generate a large whirling sphere of water and have it float, usually somewhere close to them. It can be controlled rather freely to be used as defense and water tendrils, which have high piercing power and can bust through rock, can be released from it for offense. Only someone with a close affinity to water may hope to use this jutsu.

Name: Kinobori no Waza - Act of Tree Climbing

Requirements: None
Description: A skill that every self-respecting shinobi must have. It is based on concentrating chakra to the soles of one's feet and using it to stick to objects, which would allow one to walk on vertical surfaces and even upside down. This is also often used as chakra control training, since the soles of the feet are said to be the hardest place to control your chakra.
Gideon watched as the mass of water engulfed the arena like an uncontrollable forest fire. If he could smile this would have been the perfect moment as he stood motionless on the water as it rose higher and higher. His gaze never once moved away from the Kage as he continued his offensive.
“I would say let the best man win but I am no man,” Gideon’s attention had now turned away from the Kage and instead towards the massive swirling ball next to him. It didn’t seem that threatening until the tendril shot at him with some ferocious speed. As the tendril came within roughly one meter of him Gideon vanished with a flurry of water causing the tendril to miss its target. Gideon however only reappeared momentarily out of the Kage sight to his left before disappearing and reappearing several meters behind the Kage.
“Wow the power of a Kage... it’s so... what can I say? Unimpressive,” As Gideon finished his sentence the buddle of bandages which had sunken beneath the mass of water unwrapped themselves to reveal a wooden figure which emerged from the water in front of the Kage. “I’m ready for round two you’re all mightiness.”

What the Kage was unaware of is that when Gideon reappeared the first time out of his field of sight he dropped ten placed ten small objects into the water that were held within his sleeves.

The mizukage laughed as the boy tried to insult him. What did I do to you? No need for petty insults He exclaimed, with a couple chuckles. He then turned back to Gideon, smiling. He formed some handseals, before activating the genjutsu, Sight Blinder. He stomped his foot on the surface of the water, and a some water rose up.
Another tendril shot at Gideon, and two jets of water shot to his left and right. He smiled as he looked at Gideon, the 'not a man' puppeteer. He continued to shoot the water to the man's sides. He may have over done it, already feeling some drainage of his chakra.

Type: Genjutsu

Requirements: None
Description: The user forms a few seals and releases their mental chakra. This chakra enters the target and impedes the signals from the eyes to the brain and causes their vision to go black. This takes a considerable amount of chakra but does not require the user to maintain it, as it simply ends after a short time, the chakra expended. Lasts 6 posts, 4 against someone with Genjutsu Primary or better.

Requirements: Water as first element
Description: This water-based ninjutsu does not require any hand seals to be used. The user will slam their foot or fist into the ground and cause water to rise up, even if they are in an area with no natural water. The user can then launch jets of water, which can be controlled by the movement of one's hands and have enough power to cut through rock, from that position. Controlling the water constantly takes away a bit of chakra, and the user will have to perform the technique again if they change position.
