OOC: He didn't say how long he wanted this thread, oh well.

IC: The large group of shinobi had beening traveling for a short period. She would occasionally look over her shoulder, but had said nothing so far. She stops, kneeling and bracing herself with one hand. "Hatake-san, you and Gideon go on ahead. If you detect anything circle back and warn the group. If anyone has a radio I'm on channel six." as she says this her hand reachs up to her eye, though there is no headpiece visible through her medium-short hair. "Anybody have anything else to share with the group before we continue?" Dharma is still depressed, though she's seeming to feel better. Not that anyone would know she's depressed, it's coming off as more of a attitude than anything else. Looking around, she makes sure there are no unpleasant suprises hiding in the area around them. With an Inuzuka around it really is a moot point though. Her hands move around under her long tattered cloak as she does a quick inventory of her things. Dharma waits for the people in the group to respond before moving on.

((OOC: I am not sure how long he wants it. At least a few posts each I am sure ))

IC:
Shikon jumped from branch to branch, Dharma ahead of everyone else. He heard you landing first, A thud with each bound, and the rustle off leaving from the trees. Shikon heard the wind fly past him and his comrads, creating almost a sound map around him. So that he would be able to hopefully, know where he is going. Shikon had always been reluctant for travel, mainly because his handicap. But thus far he has never had a problem. As long as he kept focused, kept his head on right. Nothing should go wrong. he thought about the mission while he moved. He knew that the Red Dawn group was out to sabotoge missions. But did they know anything about the mission that they were on? Was this a cover mission to get the group out of hiding. Was this a trap set by the Kage for the group. The Red Dawn trying to stop their mission not knowing their goal was to kill them. He didn't know really, but he didn't know much about the Kage or how he thought. He simply knew he was strong, and now that he was of the cursed blood.

Yes you had better watch what you say around that man. He is quite powerful and your words may mean life or death in a big way. so be careful Shikon nodded to himself as his inner darkness said this. he was in n doubt that the kage held high power. Never before had he felt such strength, except when he had met the previous Kage, Tamotsuand he had whitnessed the Rasengan first hand. Though he shuttered at the thought of what the this Kage could do.

Shikon reached out with his mind, latching on to the connection that linked his and Shizuka's mind by their clans telepathy. He spoke to her through this link asking.. Why did you not tell me that the Kage was of the cursed blood Shizuka. We may be new to this change, but we should have been told no? That is how we feel anyway Shikon continued on with his thoughts for a few seconds. Though suddenly Shikon heard Dharma in front of him stop her movement, with his mind occupied he almost didn't notice. Shikon ripped on the breaks almost hitting her and stopping just past her position. He straightened himsef up wondering if she had senses something that he did not. Shikon listened around him intently. He heard only the heartbeats of the people around him. though with is distraction he could have missed something. He listened to the jounin as she spoke. Telling two of the group to head off in front to scout.

"Anybody have anything else to share with the group before we continue?" Shikon stepped forward bit at these words. He has been poundering that very wuestion throughout the short travel. " I for one think that we should at least give a short description of our abilities. I for one am a Ninjutsu user of the wind element. and I prefer lng range combat." Shikon rested a hand on the quiver of arrows strapped to his side when he said the lest bit. He nodded to himself and reached up to unstrap his spear from his back, holding it in his hand. " Though I am ready for a close range encounter if it is needed" Shikon retrapped his equipment and rested against a tree trunk then. Making sure to get as much rest as he could for the time being.

Hatake moved through the area along side the group with a smile on his face. this was one of the more exciting missions that he has ever been on. And having to live on his own, doing missions were the only ways he could afford to stay in his apartment. He looked over to find Reikon following along, his large face flapping around his jaws in the wind. Hatake let a laugh escape his lips when he saw him. Reikon was always such a large oaf. not exactly dim witted, but surely not very tactical or strategic. Hatake tured back to the path ahead of him, finding a low tree brance alomst hitting him in the face. He got a face full of bark as he was lifted off his feet and he was thrown into a crude backflip. He gained control of himself in mid flight landing down hard on his feet. Reikon let hiss of laughter as he seemed to try to supress it through his teeth. Hatke looked at him with a stern, and very red, face. ' Shut up your big lout." Hatake turned and took off catching up with the lead. He could still hear Reikon laughing behind him though.

They had went on for some minutes before Dharma suddenly stopped. Hatake stopped short right in front of her. He looked over to the one called Gideon when he heard his orders. He nodded and started off in front of the group. When Hatake knew that Gideon was with him, started to talk, " So then, you seem like the strong type, are you confident on the mission? Why did you sign up for it in the first place if I might ask?" Hatake took a whiff of the air as he spoke. For far he could not smell anyone near. And he hoped that it would stay that way for some time before the neared their destination. he hoped that thier own mission would find any complications by the very group they were out to destroy. Reikon bound up next to him. he looked with calm eyes, as if saying that he didn't smell anything as of yet either.

Hatake started to speed up his pace a bit and went off for about another hundred yards. there he stopped atop a high tree branch and smelled out the area. there was a faint smell of human mized with chakra far off in the distance. it wasn't a foul smell, but he really didn't like it. he reached up with his hand pressing down on his radio reciever. He spoke calmly into his head piece.." Dharma-Sempai, I smell a chakra source some ways off. I don't like the stench of it. Should we head off course in order to move around it? Or should we move through and take it if conflict arises? Hatake released his reciever button waiting for a respose.

The vampire kunoichi looked around, smelling and listening, she picked up many things, including the pounding of hearts, many hearts, pounding weakly from up ahead, as well as the smell of them. She smiled, but would take this according to the mission. Her thoughts were interrupted by Shikon, asking her a question telepathically. She turned and looked to him. 'I didn't tell you because I didn't want ukyo-sama to kill me, he doesn't like the cursed, and wishes he wasn't one, though he enjoys the perks of living as one of us.' She explained, from what she had seen, he didn't really like being a cursed, even though he was the most powerful, besides maybe Rera herself. 'There isn't many of us, and those that don't enjoy it are many.' She added, before looking ahead again. She then circled back, and joined the group.

"Nothing much to report, other than we are going in the right direction, Dharma-san." Shizuka reported, as she looked at the group, they seemed to be full of genin, and she wondered, was this part of the strategy, people tended to over look Genin and Chuunin, so the only one they might focus on, was that of Dharma herself, being she was a Jounin. She then realized that Shikon had pointed out his ranged abilities. She would have spoke about her's, when a thought came to her, as if in a flash of light. His speaking of his own ability might not be a good thing.

"We shouldn't speak of our skills, since a spy could easily be near us." She whispered to the group. This was simple precaution, being that the missions were all sabotaged and stolen, it wouldn't be illogical to state that a spy might be part of their midst. She wasn't a normally suspicious person, but the circumstances of this mission, and maybe part of Akane-sama's personality had infected her. She then spoke again "This is a mission where we might have to fight with out knowing our comrades abilities, but I think my group might do well from far away." She spoke, trying to word it correctly. She had an idea, being that she too could fight at long range. "As for Strategy, we should only make those when we are split into the groups." She suggested.

Raiden nodded as the kunoichi spoke. Her words made sense but, there was something missing. "Hmm.... true but, wouldn't the same danger apply if we were to break into groups?There could be more than one spy.... I think we should talk strategy here. I also think we should check the proximity first. I don't want to take the chance of being over heard. Plus, we have to strategize together in case something happens. Also, if there are spies.... we will be walking right into a trap.... I'd prefer not to get ambushed." Raiden spoke slowly and quietly. He didn't want to catch attention but, he had to let them know what he thought. Raiden looks over to Dharma to see what she thought.

Since the group had set off Gideon had stayed as far back as possible as he wished not to socialise with anyone. As he passed from tree to tree the branches made a slight cracking noise due to the weight of his new body. As he listened to others discuss strategies he only wished that he could sigh but due to the lack of lungs that would be physically impossible so instead he just closed his eyes and shook his head.

At that moment he heard his so called leader call out for him and some other guy called Hatake to go ahead and scout out. Realising that with his abilities it would be rather pointless Gideon went to open his wooden mouth but decided against it and just obeyed his orders and increased his speed causing some louder creeks then before. Eventually Gideon passed the entire group and caught up to the ninja named Hatake who attempted to engage in convocation with him.

So then, you seem like the strong type, are you confident on the mission? Why did you sign up for it in the first place if I might ask?"

Quickly thinking of the best way to describe his involvement in the mission Gideon began to reply, â€œI applied for the mission so that I could test out my new body.â€

Velidina had followed Dharma here, making sure to stick close to her. After all, she was the source of her security. She wondered about Dizzy, if she would be in the fight, or if it would be a lesser puppet. Of course it would be Dizzy, Velidina thought, After all, that puppet seems quite... interesting. Turning her attention back to the group, Velidina shook her head. "Only that I have a chain as my main weapon..." she stated, quite quietly. However, those that knew her would know that was pretty much her average speaking voice. To hear her yell in other people's sense of the word was quite rare- indeed, nobody had heard her yell yet. The most she had ever risen her voice was to what others would say was a "normal" volume of voice. "And... that I am somewhat of an alchemist, although I do my alchemy with herbs and such..." With that, she stepped back, and wondered who this "Raiden" character was. She turned to listen to several voices. Shizuka had good points, but it was kind of late on her part, and it wasn't like she was going to do much, anyway- not at her level, anyway. Another man, this one looking a little... weird, spoke. "I-i agree with him..." she spoke, her voice even quieter than before- so much so that it may be only Dharma that could hear her. The reason she was being so timid now was because she didn't think her opinion would be worth much- at least not at her rank...

Akio had decided he'd scout around, so he'd turned into a hawk when everyone was in front of him, even Gideon who was back from the rest of the group anyways. So he turned into a hawk and took flight over the trees, they were very thick so it was hard to see through, but every once in a while there'd be a small gap. However the gaps were too infrequent so he decided to head back to the group. He made a u-turn and headed to the back of the group like before. There he untransformed as he landed on the branch and continued. He sped up as to catch up to the group quickly, there he stood right behind Dharma as they moved. I tried scouting overhead, but the trees are to thick and close together. There were a few small gaps, but they rarely hit my sight. He whispered to her, he always tried to keep his abilities secret unless the person was special or when the need came.

Hideki ignored the others in the group since the begging of the mission since they had nothing but petty talk about 'how to fight the enemy' with was really just them shooting them moyths of instead of coming up with plans. He was ok with the group. Dharma ,Shikon , Shizuka , Velidina, Hatake and Akio seemed fine but Raiden was weird. Gideon was a cocky arrogant ass to him and if he had a choice he would not even thing about going near him. Having someone like that on a team got people killed no matter how strong that person is. he continued to walk alongside Velidina without a word almost blending in with the forest. "I take it we should be there soon then, shouldn't we Dharma-Senpai? Though i have no clue where 'There' is" He said in a bored tone as he walked with is hands in his pocket and his sword thrown over his shoulder. Though this sword seemed new unlike the others he had

Dharma nods as Gideon starts with his explaination, but let's out a fake sigh when Shizuka speaks. "If we didn't detect anyone near, then most like we won't be heard." Unless the forest is bugged. With this thought, her hand goes up to her ear again as the others continue to conversate. When her student Velidina speaks up she looks back, "Of all your weapons the one in your head is the most important. Don't forget this. I brought you here for the combat experience. Besides, focusing on one weapon Â is a good thing." As she finishs saying this, Fegte tells her about his little scout ahead. She whispers back, "Be more careful, don't you think sudden disappearances would look suspicious on your part?" Raising her voice she addresses the group, "Had I wanted us to do this later, I would've asked then. And if I was to change my opinion I would let you know. Either way you look at this it's a good chance we are compromised anyways. It's possible they may have intel on us as shinobi. I'm Dharma the Silver Moth, my specialty is puppetry. But I have other talents as well. However, my real question was pertaining to things that would immediately be useful. Such as any quirk that would make you harder to get along with, or talents that will come handy outside the battle. I should've been more clear. I know all of your basic stats anyways.... Hold on." her voice lowers, "Let move straight on Hatake, wait for us before moving on however." She stands up and speaks up again, "Let's head on, with caution of course. And to answer your question, this is about the halfway point." "... I didn't get to speak on anything," the winged puppet heading up the rear says. Dharma looks back with a glare, "What?" The puppet shrugs, "N-nothing, just saying... Let's go!" she says half hearted, hoping her pointless interuption would be ignored.

Shikon waited some time as each person expressed their opinion on the matter. Many thought that there might be a spy in the group. Shikon did not rule this out, with so much in his past, he learned not to expect total loatly. Even family can shun and strike you. That he shall never forget. Though of course everyone was worried of being watched and listened in on, though Shikon was sure that no one was near by, at leasst not close enough for them to ever have hopes of hearing them. If someone was close enough to hear them, then he for sure would hear them as well. He let that idea pass easily, he trusted in his abilities. Though somewhere in his mind, doubt filled him.

" Are you sure you are as well trained and observant as you think? You can be wrong you know... everyone is wrong sometimes." Shikon scowled when his inner darkness expressed this to him. He didn't believe that he was forgetting anything, or loosing his touch in any way. There was no chance, he brushed the thought from his mind... " Are you sure Shikon? I mean you are not yourself ever since the changes, I mean you could be wrong... you never know." Shikon almost yelled at his own mind at this point. He was not being reckless, he was not loosing his touch, he was not wrong. Ever since the changes he was better if anything. NO I am not wrong. if anything I am sure of it, no I am sure. Don't try to sway me here. Shikon was breathing heavily now, he slowed it down after awhile, getting a hold on himself.

Shikon sighed after he was able to think and hear clearly now. He spoke then, keeping his voice calm and collective, nothing to reveil the silent battle he was just in. " No one is listening in on us. That we can confirm without doubt. If anyone is close enough to hear us, then we would hear them. We can not see, but we hear much better than many of you may think. And now, we do not hear anything to give alarm. though as for anything that would make me hard to get along with, well all I have to say is do not say anything about my brother, or my father. Shikon turned off to where Hatake and Gideon had moved ahead. If someone was up ahead, and Shikon really was wrong. Then he would be ready just in case. Shikon reached up and unstrapped his bow from his back. Taking one arrow from his quiver held it in his hand. Then he waited for them to move on...

Hatake nodded when he heard Dharma's reply. If they were to go through, wondered what conflict might arise. He hoped that it wasn't something to cause a battle. Hopefully just a lone trader, but the smell of chakra was there, perhaps just another ninja on a mission. He hoped that was the case... Hatake looked down to the ground below, Reikon was now laying at the base of the trunk. His eyes closed and his chest moving steadily, sleeping the time away. Hatake looked down with hard eyes, he couldn't believe this lazy wolf was going to sleep on a mission. He reached out and picked a pine cone from the branch in front of him. Then aiming carefully he threw the cone down, hitting reikon square between the ears. The wolf yelped as there was a loud thump. He shot up looking around, the fur on this back standing up. He looked around, hoping to find his attacker. hatake laughed loudly from his position in the tree branch.

" Don't fall asleep you lazt oaf. We need to stay alert, do again and it won't be a pine cone. Hatake then looked over to Gideon in front of him. Hatke sniffed at the air, remembering his response to the question he asked earlier. His eyes widened as he noticed a serious drop in human sent. This gideon really was not a full human, he wasn't even real, he smeeled no other animal about him. Only the woods. " So what are you exactly? Surely not human I know..." He looked at him with waiting eyes, such things greatly got his attention.....
