Description: Sharingan is the bloodline limit doujutsu of the Uchiha clan. It possesses several powerful abilities, though it is developed through three stages. When just awakened, it is in Stage 1, with only one tomoe located above the pupil; in Stage 2, another tomoe appears, and they are now located to the left and right of the pupil; all three tomoe appear in Stage 3, and they are located in a triangle shape around the pupil: one directly above and the other two to the bottom left and right. The Sharingan is activated by sending some chakra into the eyes. It does not cost much, but only a true Uchiha can have it activated for prolonged periods of time without risking their health.
* Stage 1: The initial stage of the awakened Sharingan, it only gives the clan members some basic abilities. Among these is the ability to see movement somewhat faster than what they would normally be able to and to detect chakra. This allows them to react better and gives them higher accuracy than most. Thanks to the chakra detection ability, many camouflage techniques are rendered ineffective. This stage also allows them to see clearer than normal. |
The moon was high over the village this night which created long and forboding shadows, shapes that would play on one's mind and fears, leaves would turn to blades and trees to assassins. However something far deadlier than a mere assassin dwelled in the shadows tonight, a dark shape slowly became seperate from the surrounding shadows and began to glide its way over to the gates of Konoha. Lowering his hood Uchiha Midaru took a long and rattling breath of the cool night's air before looking up to the moon, his vision roamed to the tall gates before him and he sighed nostalgicaly "The same as they were all those years ago" He thought to himself. This was the first time he had returned to the village since his supposed death, something that could be described as a cold smile made itself known accross his features and his eyes snapped onto the guards at the gates, both already seemed drowsy but as the man's genjutsu took hold the two fell straight to sleep. Midaru replaced his hood, once again becoming a simple shadow and walked over the unconscious bodies of the two guards and into his old home. Midaru walked slowly through the empty streets of Konohagakure, it hadn't changed much...At all in fact, Ichiraku Ramen was even still there, this incurred a chuckle from the Uchiha as he continued his walk. He walked past the kage's building and remembered the times that he had dreamt of becoming Hokage, but those days were long gone and now just surviving could be a struggle as he was faced with tough missions and impossible opponents all the time. His gaze drifted off to a large amount of trees in the distance, the Uchiha smiled and disappeared in a flurry of leaves.
The wind blew up fiercely causing the surrounding leaves and branches to be blown about as Midaru reappeared inside the forest of death, he trailed a hand along a damp and moss-covered log as he walked, marvelling at his surroundings. This was the place where he had awoken his sharingan "How long ago now...?" He asked himself as his face contorted with thought "...Eleven years" It had been a long time since he had thought about it and the amount of time surprised even the Uchiha himself, the man sat himself down lightly on a log as he reminisced.
~ The little chuunin spun round frantically, looking desperately for the thing that had attacked him, he didn't know what it was nor did he know how to fight it, the only thing he did know was that it was impossibly fast, his eyes just couldn't follow its movement speed. Midaru raised a kunai in front of him and held it in both hands in a defensive stance, his eyes fully observing the surroundings, watching and waiting for the beast to make its move. After a few minutes of high tension the Uchiha's breathing slowed down to somewhat normal levels and he breathed a long sigh of relief whilst lowering his kunai "Guess it left...?" He said quietly but just as he did he was hit with a harsh blow to his back from an unseen enemy, the boy grunted and flew through the air, landing in the dirt. He pushed himself up to his feet as he moaned and turned to try see what was behind him but all he could see was a blur of movement as he was struck again in the chest which once more sent him sprawling onto his back, a little blood leaked from the Uchiha's mouth but he spat it away quickly and raised his kunai once more, he returned to scouring the surroundings for any sign of the beast. There was a slight rustle of movement behind Midaru and everything seemed to slow down as the boy attempted to dodge the incoming attack, he dove off to the right whilst spinning to once again attempt to get a look at his attacker, though once more he was too slow, however it was only by a fraction this time as his leg caught the blow which sent him spinning through the air, the boy managed to keep some control over his trajectory as he landed with his feet on the bark of a nearby tree where he remained, despite what the laws of gravity may say. ~

~ Midaru's eyes scanned the surrounding forest which served as the battleground for him and his predator "You won't get me this time beast..." He said slowly with his kunai close to his face and held firmly with both hands. Suddenly there was a rustle from behind the trees, signalling the coming of the attacker, the chuunin whirled round as fast as he could and sure enough there it was again, but this time something was different, it seemed to move slower and shifted in and out of focus "I can see it!" The chuunin breathed as the large lizard reached out with one of its claws to rip away his head. Midaru ducked out of the way of the attack with ease and a grin spread over his mouth "Your speed is nothing" he said cockily and rose up with the kunai, slashing the beast's throat and covering himself in its blood ~
The fully grown Uchiha smiled as he remanisced about times long past, he leaned back slightly on the log he was sitting on, using his hands for support as he did. His eyes moved up to the sky, searching through the endless abyss and reflecting the shimmering lights of stars, he gently dragged a finger along the log and smirked "Not this time my friend" He said quietly and his hand snapped into the air with lightning speed catching hold of a long leathery tail, the reptile squirmed and screeched in its attempts to get free, the Uchiha merely smiled as his attention was brought to the long scar on the underside of the lizard's neck "I very rarely leave survivors...You should be proud" And then in a whirl of leaves he was gone, leaving the lizard to slam to the ground, it moved its great scaly head around to search for its prey but found no trace and after a while, moved away into the undergrowth awaiting the next meal.
