So....I got my Ps3 yesterday and my friend told me that she hated Ps3's until KH3 comes out (still waiting on that) and the new FF there are no good games, I named a couple but if people put some games here that would be cool cuz then I could link it to her....though It probably won't matter anyway -_-'

To be honest.... PS3's gaming Catalogue has a few Gems, including Uncharted, Heavenly Sword and Metal Gear Solid 4. However, the PS3 library is like she says.... Lackluster at best. Resistance is a great game. But if the ration of good games vs bad games is like...

Then the system is starting to lose the shine it once had. And no one can harp on me. I have all 3 systems and have faults with all of them. I just have a deeper understanding money-wise with Xbox.

Yea...i use to have said Xbox....but then it red ringed T_T I went to send it in to microsoft to get it repaired but uh...since I bought it on Ebay the previous owner had already registered it so I wasn't allowed to send it in so I decided to try Ps3 now I'm the only one of my friends with a Ps3! (eh heh heh heh..leverage)

Anyway I thought maybe the Ps3 got some points back at E3 cuz of that wand thing..what was it called...you could swing it like a sword and it was ACCURATE Shocked

and god of war 3 ^_^

Pretty well any of the cross platformers are good. Things like Call of Duty, Fallout 3, Oblivion (Same game, really...) Can't remember if the PS3 version of Bioshock came out yet, but they're getting it. There are plans for a PS3 Mass Effect 2. The Uncharted games are great, thought he second one isn't due out for another month or so. The Ratchet and Clank series are exceptional games. Resistance, as stated, is very good as well. Eventually, the system will have FF13, and FFv13. The second one, as of yet, is not going to 360. If you've got twenty bucks to spare, and like fighters, I would highly recommend Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. The game costs $80... Used... On the older systems. Not even kidding. And, like I said at first, if it's a good game on 360, it's a good game on PS3. You're just lacking Gears of War, and a couple RPGs.

EDIT: It's not listing games, but if you have a PSP, and a PS3, there are lots of doors unlocked for online play with some of your PSP games, like Monster Hunter. There's a Japanese client out, that's beta testing. Can't remember what it is off hand, just learned about it yesterday, myself. But, search around the interwebs, and I'm sure something will pop up.

Don't get me wrong, the PS3 does have some good points like it's free online service. But there are a lot of technical glitches that do require (sometimes) lengthy install times. And the fact that it data install some games from the offset was an initial turn off as I would find myself losing much of my HD space so fact I almost shattered the system with a kick. The fact that Backwards Comp was only available on certain models was also a deterrent. Add on the fact it's horrendously expensive with a bevy of problems and few First-Part Exclusives, the PS3 has some catching up to do. Especially if Xbox goes through with it's 300$ 120 GB Model in September.

None, besides what AJ said. Don't bother with the PS3 until it comes with some hardcore games. Plus the servers apparently suck.

If the PS3 price is what you're concerned about:

Sony has officially announced the PS3 Slim. $299 worldwide, two thirds the size, and power consumption rate to match that, 120BG HDD. Hits store shelves Sept. 1st this year.

I only bring this up because that's what most people gripe about when it comes to the system.
