Personality: Bored and apathetic. Thats pretty much the easiest way to describe Poi at the best of times. Partially due to the fact that she lives a rather unpredictable life style (not knowing when she will next have to go to sleep) and partially due to the fact that shes pretty sure that shes done most things before, Poi often has trouble trying to motivate herself to give a crap about things. Indeed the majority of the time, she considers the various hidden villages and their ninjas as little more then troublesome kids, an attitude that often causes trouble when dealing with said kids. Though she normally wakes up with little or no memory of times before, it doesn't really bother her, indeed its often a source of humor to her when various people from her past attempt to get in touch with her, mostly due to the looks on their faces when she states that she doesn't know them.
Despite this however, she does have a fairly good memory of things that happen during that period of awareness and over time her memory does return, bringing back various things that she might have forgotten, from such various things as jutsu, books that she had read and even various ways of growing things. Her sense of humor is often considered to be twisted, with an enjoyment of messing with, degrading and pretty much not getting along with people. Even those who share similar to even the same bloodline as her get the same treatment, even if she was the one who brought them into it.

Description: This is a very helpful if not costly jutsu to use. When the Chiropteran uses this attack they must remain stationary, and must not be using any other jutsu. In order to do this technique first they will do a hand sign as normal, and force the chakra into their cells the same way as a shadow clone jutsu. This jutsu causes all the newly created cells to redraw tissue at a semi faster rate that boost the healing speed of a wounds from hours to mere minutes. The thing about this jutsu is that when it is activated it will stay active for as long as the Chiropteran can place chakra into it. The more advanced form of this technique can make tissue recover almost as fast as it has been cut however it will use much more chakra when used this way, and both forms of this jutsu can only be used once per battle.

Description: An all around balanced technique this jutsu allows for the user to reinforce their skin with chakra making it almost indestructible. However this jutsu has a major downside as it sharply lowers their speed all around, and makes it harder to concentrate chakra into part of their body that jutsu is used. This jutsu also drians around 10% of their chakra each post until it is released.

Description: This is a rather straightforward technique that be used so long as the chiropteran has some form of light rays hitting them. When using this technique no hand signs are needed instead they will twist the light in a way that will be able to replicate themselves in a fast moving circular pattern around the foe in the same color as their eyes. They can while doing this turn their bodies the same color as the light images, and the only way to tell which is the real one is by the level of clearness one has while doing it, as the light images are clear in the appearance while the chiropteran is not, this will be difficult, but can be done however; also no jutsu can be used while the chiropteran is in this state.

Background: Where she comes from, nobody knows, not even herself. There are rumors and myths about her stretching back thousands of years, from a time before the written word. Some believe that she was the first of her kin, others believe that she doesn't exist at all and that a series of people have taken her name over the years, each for their own reasons. If she ever had an agenda, shes long forgotten it, though her appearances often coincide with ebbs and falls in the world wide Chiropteran population. In some places idols of her are worshiped in temples, in others she is reveled as a demon.
Though records of her do exist, the various facts and information contained in them barely match up. Her hair color, appearance and even her gender are all disputed in various records, and seem to change depending on what country and even what time period they are from. Though many believe this is evidence for the series of people with her name, the truth is different, with none of them being her normal form. Indeed every-time people are said to have seen her, they are instead seeing her copying the form of a previous victim using a chiro trick. Indeed her true form is an almost pure expression of her bloodline, which in her case is possibly the oldest example of the Chiropteran genes that are known in the modern world.
She doesn't care about that, mostly because her bloodline is like her sleeping problem, something that she has and can't really do anything about. Not that she tries very hard off course, since between the two of them she has all the time in the world to deal with things the way that she wants to. Over the various years, shes been able to assemble and learn quite a bit of medical knowledge that has been considered to be lost in the world. In the area of poisons for example, there is few if any people that can hope to match her in both the art of Treating and creating them. One of the most common rumors about her is that the word that most people use today poison came from her, literally SON of Poi.
The funny thing is that the poison thing started off as an accident, which had happened over several different awakenings. One thing that she has always had a problem with is the fact that almost all blood tastes the same, with only a few differences in texture and taste among people no matter where they were. Animal blood did have more variations, but they rarely had enough to last her for any long amount of time. So over the course of many times, without realizing it (since she wakes up with little memory) she attempted to find ways of improving the taste of blood, which she often tried out on traveling companions. Since the only real reason she traveled with them in the first places was that she could have a source of blood on tap, this wasn't really a moral dilemma for her, and the companions rarely noticed, since she was a decent cook.
This knowledge came to its conclusion one time, when after consuming a particularly well cooked side of beef, her current companion looked at her, smiled.. then dropped dead of his own accord. Without realizing it, Poi had created her first deadly poison... and lost a source of blood that she could actually put up with. So soon after, she took the place of a student that was studying to be a medic-nin and spent several years in her place learning everything that she could. Then she ended up taking a serious wound in one of the many wars that broke out in those times and had to repeat the whole thing again when she woke up. This continued in a couple of other different awakenings, where she spent time in other villages learning other countries techniques... and often forgetting them. Though while the actual knowledge was forgotton, it became easier and easier for her to learn about them and gather it.
