Otogakure had suffered alot in the last months but the dawn of this July day had many people scrambling. People from all over the world began erecting new statues and the like to help make the once sad looking village into a small prosperous one without ninjas. But today was the focus was on those ninjas as several rings with varying terrain were set up and people from all over the world looked on in amazement. There were shops upon shops lined all over as judges began pouring in to see the hopefuls. Today would begin a new day for some and a year of shame for others.

(Chuunin Exam will now commence. All participants must post here by 12AM PST ~3AM EST/5 AM Greenwich~ of Monday July 13th. Anyone who fails to do so will be eliminated.)

With Iron Pillar on his back all wrapped up so no one could see, Xenpai walked on looking around. "This is going to be one interesting time in my life." He said speaking to himself, "Hopefully my sister won't be mad if I come home in bandages." Looking around he turned to see where he was supposed to go. Stretching as he approached where he was supposed to be, he scratched at his arms. His sister had made him a brand new Gi with a Ying Yang symbol on the back of it, a new fading red trim that went dark to light as it went along the edges, while the pure whiteness of the main body of the Gi shined. He liked his older one better as he had gotten used to it, unlike the one he was wearing right now. Wearing a Red Bandanna, his head protector sat at the bottom of it with block cloth. His hair flowed out a bit curling when it exited the bandanna's area. Preparing the night before, Xenpai had only what he needed, Iron Pillar, 10 senbons, and some packs of extra padding under the Gi for protection. Most of the padding was in the arm and leg area and some on the back, Xenpai was skeptical for it since he was young and he knew better to go head on for an attack. Sighing as he made where he was supposed to be, he decided to rest for a bit by leaning onto a wall.

And so it begins. Sté was all fired up for the exams and he was also happy that he got to travel outside of the Mist Village for once. Though this place is kind of barren, it still seems peaceful enough. Sté had gotten a small hair cut, which added to his charm, he also purchased a new pair of rubber gloves since his old ones were kind of worn out. While looking for where he was supposed to wait, he saw Xenpai and could tell that he too was participating in the exams. Sté made his way over to him and didn't say anything. He stood a couple of feet away from Xenpai and massaged his left wrist with his right hand. He would then scan his surroundings with a innocent look on his face and wait for Keto.

Looking up seeing another person he coughed to get his attention before speaking, "Hello there, I presume your waiting for your opponent to arrive as well as the person to tell us where we go from here?" He asked Sté as he looked at him. He was studying his features to see if he could pin-point what he mainly used. Though he didn't get it, I would rather have a conversation now than later when they had to fight or something like that, he thought in his head. Stretching once more he waited for Sté to respond to his question.

Sté heard a cough and then looked over in Xenpai's direction. He would then listen while Xenpai asked his question. Sté smiled a bit and nodded. "Yes, I'm here for the exams." His eyes would then make its way over to the piece of equipment on Xenpai's back. Now what could there be under all those wraps? Sté reached back and made sure the noose to his Mist Village head band was tied tightly, as it hung around his neck. It had been a while since Sté had conversed with anyone from another village, looking at Xenpai's village head band, he had no clue where he was from.

"I see, well my name is Xenpai Kinjo, nice to meet you." He said yawning as his headband shined the symbol of Kumogakure. Noticing he looked at Iron Pillar on his back he pulled it off his back and set it where it stood by itself, "I see that you are curious about Iron Pillar, if you want I can show you it." He said gesturing towards the standing up thing wrapped in red cloth. "I presume you don't help outside the village much, I'm from Kumogakure, and you?" He asked as Xenpai himself had only been outside the village once and that was to help the guy from the Vineyard. Setting his hand on top of Iron Pillar there was a flap that he held in his grip.

"Nice to meet you Xenpai, my name is Giavi, Sté but, you can call em Sté." Sté watched closely as Xenpai pulled his Iron Pillar off of his back and set it up so that it was standing up right, by itself. "Um, sure." Sté was in fact curious about Xenpai's weapon. He would then answer Xenpai's question: "Well no, I have never traveled outside of my village before." He would then give a look of confusion. "Kumokagure." He nodded his head in interest for, he had never heard of such a place. "Im from Kirikagure." Sté responded while continuing to watch Xenpai.

Pulling the little flap he as holding, Iron Pillar was pulled up into the sky a bit. Catching it with both hands the Red cloth had split in a sense and was tied somewhere on him where it was like wings. Shining in the sunlight, it was a sort of brown color metal that seemed to be like a short staff of some sort. "Well, good to meet you Sté" Xenpai said as he held Iron Pillar. It was in it's First Stage only, which is how he wanted to show it. One side of it said HOPE, while the other had a picture of a dragon. Inside of it though had a lightning bolt, though Sté would have to watch his fight to figure that out. Only being a yard long, it wasn't much of a threat unless he shoved it within close range of you. After he was done showing it he placed it on his back with one and began to wrap it back up without looking. Though he wasn't looking he was prepared and he made sure that nothing was showing once he wrapped it back up. Smiling, he knew it was gonna be a challenge, but when Iron Pillar is on it's first stage, there is barely anything you need to worry about.

Sté asked as he observed the sides of the pillar and saw that one side said: HOPE. "Hope." Sté said to himself. He then checked the other side and saw a picture of a dragon. "Cool." Sté smiled again. The competition is already looking tough. He watched as Xenpai re-wrapped his weapon. A shinobi from Kumokagure, a place that I never heard of before. Im lucky to be here, meeting other shinobi from far off places. Wonder if there will be any challengers from the Hidden Leaf Village.

Nodding as he accepted the compliment of the dragon, "I designed Iron Pillar, which as you say is only about 3 feet long." He said explaining a bit more about his weapon, "There are two stages of it, the one you say is what I call Stage A while the other stage I call Stage B. The second stage is unique in a way, but I highly doubt that you will see it's full power, unless we fight." He said gesturing to the arenas. Sighing as he leaned against the wall as he waited for more he was glad that he wasn't bored. "I wonder who will come next..."
