Slevin sighed heavily, he had wanted nothing more to go back to his native lands, now he wanted the exact opposite to go to Iwa he knew something was coming something big. He hopped off of the large wolf waiting for Tamotsu to announce why they were back in Kumo he had made it clear just a few days ago that he was never going to be able to return. Slevin heard the distant crack of thunder in the distance and the humid classically beautiful Kumogakure day that he had grown so fond of. After a few seconds of looking around, nothing had really changed since he had left even though it hadn't been that long since he had left.

Tamotsu dismounted from the wolf and then took but one step forward before 20 ANBU appeared and surrounded them. Tamotsu sighed as he looked at all of them and then raised his brows. The wolf beside them growled as Tamotsu raised his hand. Ryuuken whimpered and Tamotsu took another step forward. the ANBU pulled out swords and Tamotsu sucked his teeth. "Really? You blow up Konoha and Kiri once and everyone is super cautious around you. I'm here because the Elders called me." Tamotsu said as the ANBU made a path and then Tamotsu walked forward with the wolf.

Slevin followed trying to keep his head down unless he saw someone he knew, he disappeared so abruptly most people thought he was dead which pained him greatly, the only two people that really knew were the Kage and Torio. I'd rather be disemboweled by one of these fine people rather than see him... Slevin thought trying not to draw much attention to himself, although he doubted many people would know who he was due to his recent change in his fashion sense nor was he a very famous person. After a few minutes he saw a memorial sticker on a small shop which he decided it best to ignore, although it seemed to sour his mood a tad bit more, Slevin's normal confident posture had changed to a timid slump.

Tamotsu walked ahead and then looked back at Slevin. He sighed and then pulled his ear like a scolded child. "I've done this whole walk of shame thing before. Trust me, it's hard but you gotta toughen up." Tamotsu said as he walked ahead and then released the ear. "Besides, whatever the Elders want with us, I'm sure being scared or afraid of facing the past won't look good." Tamotsu said as he walked ahead silently. Soon they would arrive to the home of the elders and Waited in a large foyer. Tamotsu sat down in a near by chair and then looked as a man approached them.

"Tamotsu-kun. It's a pleasure." The man said as he pointed ahead.

"I hate formalities." Tamotsu grumbled.

Slevin was rarely the type that was angered, but at that moment Tamotsu's comment had really stung, he felt like reaching out and punching him in the face though he would never act on such actions. Afterward he straightened his posture and gave a smirk to Tamotsu deciding it best not to say something stupid and which he might regret. Eventually they had made it to the Elders' home. Slevin looked around for a place to sit not seeing one he fancied he simply stood behind Tamotsu giving a light smile to the man who had entered as well as a short bow. Once again this was out of his normal personality, although he masked his sadness and anger although he did look somewhat aloof.

Tamotsu looked as Slevin and sighed. He walked with the ninja into the circular room where the elders of Kumo all sat around in a semi-circle table and then he sat down in one of two chairs. He closed his eyes and spoke. "You called me here for something?" He said almost uncaring.

The elders mumbled something and then began to speak. "In light of recent events, our Raikage has gone missing. This is a bad time for us to not have a Kage. Considering the attacks of the Midnight Shadow, we feel prudent to seek you out and-"

Tamotsu stood and then stomped his foot. "I refuse the title of Raikage. Whether it be limited or permanent."

"Please Inuzuka-sama." One of the elders called.

"I will not. Besides it will cause an uproar. If anything, pick him." Tamotsu said as he pointed to Slevin.

Slevin walked with Tamotsu unto the circular room listening to their conversation of the missing Kage then they asked Tamotsu who refused, with this came a shock it was more than likely he was kidding when he told them to pick Slevin. He immediately snapped into reality after what Tamotsu said, his eyes widened to some extent then with the assumption that it was a joke he chuckled lightly. After a few seconds of further conversation he thought about what they had said, he decided it best to keep quiet and let the big boys talk. He thought about the people around him realizing the seriousness of the occasion he began to pay more attention to it. He thought it odd that only after a few weeks they were appointing a new Kage although it was needed greatly in such times.

Tamotsu's eyes burned a hole through the Elders who began speaking in hushed tones and then one elder stood up in objection. "This is a man who left the country-"

"What makes him less qualified then me? I've left other countries. Besides, he left with permission of the previous Kage's saying. And he trained under me." Tamotsu said as the elders looked shocked.

"Even if we allowed this travesty, he's still too weak to bear the responsibility. He would be killed." The elders said.

"Hyusahi Slevin does not need to be afraid. It's everyone else. He has me at his side." Tamotsu said. "So I believe you are too ask him if he's ready to be Raikage?" Tamotsu snipped.

"Ah.... oh.... quite. Are you ready to assume Kage, Hyusahi Slevin?" The Elder asked.

"Well... I..... I'm?....." Slevin fumbled around his words his eyes widening again he rubbed his forehead then spoke again "Yes, I am. I accept." he found the words finally he was still in an amazing amount of shock at what had just happened, has was now a Kage amazingly. He stood back for a few seconds drinking it in still not fully grasping what happened, he felt as if he was going to keel over. He rubbed his nose before staring at the bunch who appeared to be deadly serious he half expected the bunch to bust out into laughter. This did not happen however they did not laugh at all.

They were all serious.

Tamotsu looked as Slevin took the title and then nodded. "So then this meeting is adjourned." Tamotsu said as he walked over to Slevin and then was going to say something but decided he would not. Instead he bowed to Slevin like a loyal ninja and walked out the room. As he walked, his eyes began tearing until he arrived at the giant wolf and began petting him. "No worries. We'll be off soon, okay boy?" He said as his eyes watered to the point that they were large globs. The rain began to fall on them and Tamotsu said nothing more as he looked down to the floor and felt his heart skip. ~Who am I kidding, being here, with him.~ He thought.
