Shizuka flew up into the sky, before landing in the middle of the Forest of death, she figured that if the weaker ones of her clan had gotten her message, a good meeting place would be open, secluded, and easily taken care of. She smiled softly, as she stood in an opening, in the moon light, with her wings fully out, allowing herself to bask in the moonlight.
She wanted them to come, and wanted to teach them all what she knew, if only to open the path for them to become stronger in their own right. She was wind in nature though, so she didn't really have the ability to teach each individual everything they could wish to know, but she could atleast teach them the secrets of the blood that flows in their veins. She knew that she had turned atleast one successfully.
She just hoped Maruko would survive the change, though the time hadn't come yet for her to be worried about. The strange thing was, The wolf like one hadn't taken all that long, he must have had a strong immune system.
She waited, looking up at the sky, yet aware of any and everything going on around her, she had no worry about the creatures inhabiting the nearby area, because they feared her presense, they could tell she was a predator, of great power. She was glad most humans couldn't tell that. ((OOC: sorry it took so long to post. Anyway Shikon is also of the wind element so this is going to be quite helpful for training. ))
Shikon bound outward into a small clearing. This is where the strange feeling was coming from. He had gotten the urge to come here when he was off with Tamotsu, he wanted to stay and see what the greatkage could do. But this urge was to strong to ignore, he had to answer the call. he stepped out into the clearing carefully. He bent and sniffed the ground with his nose almost touching the very grass. He look around as he knew the sweet aroma that wafted in his nose. It was from that woman in the night, when he was changed, her, Shizuka. He moved further into the area leaving the tree line and stepping out into the open. His paws made a small crunching sound as he walked over the grass. Shaking his fur he threw off the various leaves and brush that attatched themselves to his pelt as he ran here. As he did this his eyes caught site of a figure. Up in the sky he saw a human shape with large wings, it was Shizuka, no doubt. She landed softly on the emerald flooring of the forest ground. The aroma of her coming seemed to get stronger as soon as she landed. he stepped toward her padding his paws to the floor in order to alert her of his presence. Shizuka spoke, with out turning. "So it is you, Shikon-san" the vampiress's voice was soft, and yet at the same time, filled with wisdom at the moment. She stretched her wings again, before closing them around her. She looked over at him, keeping herself ready for anything and anyone to show up, she just hoped that Ukyo wasn't bugged by her searching for others of their kind. She then gave a slight bow. "I am glad you have came, young one, I want to teach the ways of the clan." She stated to him, though their minds. She had a soft smile on her face, and the lack of needing to feed for the moment allowed her to be more at peace.
She hoped that there was more than just Shikon to teach though, for she could smell how his blood seemed to be tainted. She wondered if turning him had been a good idea, but figured either way she had to live with the responsibility for him. She kept that to herself, as she looked up at the moon, bright in the night again. "This is the perfect night for those of the Clan to meet up and learn the skills of their kind." "So it is you, Shikon-san" Shizuka's voice was, as always, kind and clam. Yet there was a slight feeling of knowledge in the voice. Shikon knew then that he most certainly made the correct choice when he accepted her invite to this "form". There were drawbacks of course, Shikon had already experianced these. And he felt his previous curse lifted. The constant pain and worry, the fact that he had previously been half way through his life, those things are gone. He felt his body weaker and slower than before but only slightly. And he felt more alive during the quiet nights. He liked all of these things, loed them really. He was able to think for the first time in his life. Have real thoughts without having something on his mind that always founnd its way into his mind.
With a blinding flash of light Shikon changed back to his human form. He stepped out of the glare tieing the scarf around his eyes to block out the things that might influence him, trick him, or be manpulated. these he did not want to "see". Then suddenly he heard Shizuka's voice again. Only now inside his head, another effect from the change he has now to accept. "I am glad you have came, young one, I want to teach the ways of the clan." Of course, he knew at some point he would have to learn more about the clan he had accepted into joining. Jutsu, traditions, other members. All must be known to keep a clan in order. And he had to learn them quickly. It seemed like another day of sitting in the Ookami clan library and reading scrolls. another day of listless learning. But he would have to accept it. And deep down, he was excited to learn these things. To see what kind of power this all gives him. " Very well then Shizuka-senpai. Were would we begin? "First, I would like to wait this night, to find out if anyone else is to show up, before I begin to teach, it is much more efficient to say something once, than to speak it over and over again." Shizuka replied, taking in his awe of his new found abilities. She could feel that he was ready to learn, and that made her happy. She wanted nothing more than to teach all of it right now, but knew that patience and finesse were things she needed to truly teach the young vampires. She smiled, revealing her eye teeth. "I hope you have learned to feed with out killing though." She stated, with amusement in her voice. She couldn't imagine the boy being too good at it yet. She only hoped that they could learn to hide what they do, as well as to do it well. Shikon frowned when he heard these words. He was getting excited to learn hat he could from this new found power. He was sure there were things that would put him at awe. And that is what he wanted to learn the most. He seemed to have to wait for his training then. Something that he hated to do. A habit left over from his previous bloodline, the constant haste of speeding things up so not to loose time. He hated waiting... but he would have to learn to accept it now. "I hope you have learned to feed with out killing though." Shizuka's words brought in memories in quick flash backs. The rustle of leaves in the dark while following a irresistable scent. The yell of a voice as someone found their way across Shikon's path.The pink mist of where the weary merchant was standing only moments before. A warm feel of liquid on his lips that were now stained crimson an the silent pool that collected on the emerald ground. Such memories did not disturb him as much as he thought they would. A small voice entered his head then. It was a stragne one, but something he had heard before, all that night, and in the back of his head during the duration of the day.
" We did what we needed to do. We could not survive otherwise." It was him, well at least somewhat. An inkonw effect to the turning that he did not expect. " It, he, you are right you know Shikon. We had to in order to survive now. Even Ailan was slowly getting used to hearing the voice rediate inside their minds and start to influence their thoughts, action. They would have to accept it as well. HE then came back to reality and spoke out to Shizuka. Answering her question finally.. Well not exactly. We did not do as well as you might have. Shizuka Frowned at this, though inside, her Inner Vampiress was impressed.
'Seems that thou hast created better Vampyres than thou self." She taunted, only getting a normal ignoring from Shizuka herself. She then looked at Shikon.
"Tell me, is there any questions you have, while we wait, it would be a good thing to get them out of the way first." She asked, letting him mull over her question.
She wanted to know how long it would take for the other Vampires that she felt to catch up, the only one that wasn't to show up, was the Hokage, she didn't contact him, though he might come anyways, and then she might learn something from him while teaching the others. "Tell me, is there any questions you have, while we wait, it would be a good thing to get them out of the way first." Shikon frowned at this question. He was to excited to really think of any questions he might have, the thought that greater power was so close to him was almost overwhelming. He loved the idea of being taught to use such new found power. Even as he felt these strong emotions, they were made even stronger as it seemed both Ailan and his new found inner self, felt the same way as he did about the prospect. "We can get much stronger, much more powerful from this. Think of things we will be able to do..." Shikon's inner darkness racked his mind with images of of Shikon standing on the top of a cliff. The sun shining just behind him, casting his shadow far to the ground below. Such a thing almost rbought a smile to his face. " Remember Shikon, your brother is much stronger than you. do not get such thoughts of supiriority in your head now. Though I do admit, such a chance to learn the use of this new strength can not be passed up. The elders have smiled on us for sure..."
Shikon walked off a few steps towards the tree line and stopped when he knew he was only a yard or two away. Reaching up he unstrapped his spear from his back. He let fall to the ground with a small thud and then began to unstrap his bow in the same manner. He slowly took off his quiver of arrows and dropped his sketch pad in his Jacket to the cold grass. Once this was done he then turned back towards Shizuka and walked to his original position. " We have no questions, other than when do we begin? It was approaching midnight. She knew it was time to start, she looked at him. "I wish you had asked something about the clan, but I guess it cannot be helped, the lessons begin now, young Fledgeling." She stated. She looked at him with the stern gaze of one about to teach some life lessons. She then coached in a manner "I will start out with a Basic for Vampire life, The Ability to become a bat, We shall start with that first, and then move on to Cats, and finally Wolves, since you are familiar with them already." She stated, before looking at him.
She then closed her eyes. "I will do so slowly, though it will take a lot to control my transformation, since I can do it almost instananeously, I am really powerful in such a respect, so you'll get to see a Giant bat, though at your rank, you'll be lucky if you are as big as a small Cat." She advised, before slowly transforming, her wings stretching more as her arms and hands merged with them, her face changing to match that of the bat, while her body sprouted fur all over, taking her clothing over, as her legs shrunk, She opened her eyes revealing them still to be red, as well as her fur being the Red and Black of her normal hair color. She then looked up at him, standing close to him, she was about the size of a large dog, maybe bigger. She then undid the transformation and stood back up in human form.
"You will need to will yourself to transform into the bat, but it helps to imagine the transformation as your doing it. Now get Started." She demanded. She would help him as best she could, but being soft wouldn't be doing him any favors.

Description: A technique shared by all Cursed to some extent, it allows one to transform into animals or other forms. Only letting the user transform into small, unsuited for combat animals at first, this technique grows in power as the one with the Blood does. When transforming into an animal, the user gains all of the animal's traits. The transformation is performed at will.
Vampires can transform into bats, felines and wolves. With felines, they start out small, domestic cat-sized and completely useless in battle, and grow out to tiger-sized felines by A rank, at which point the increase in strength stops. The situation is similar with wolves, only they cannot transform into one until C rank and grow to be somewhat abnormally large ones at A rank, but that's also their limit. Only vampires can transform into bats, starting with any size below average and reaching unnaturally gigantic by SS rank. Unfortunately, bat forms are practically useless in battle.

Shikon stood silently as Shizuka explained what was to be done. Transforming into a bat, or a feline? Such things seemed strange to him, but morphing into a wolf would seem strange if he was not already used to it. So he was sure that he could get the jutsu down without to much trouble. After Shizuka's example of the transformation process it seemed like a complicated way to transform. Willing the body to change into the shape wanted. When merging with Ailan soul it was a much simpler way to do it. Though of course at first it was a struggle to perform. Shikon simply nodded at Shizuka and stepped back. He took a breathe and focused on his body. He morphed his chakra and tissue of his body trying to find the shape that he had in his mind. Slowly he began to feel his wings stretch and skew and they started to grow. His feet also began to form reptilic toes. The tips of his ears began to point and stretch as they grew wider to the form of the animal he was focused on. He felt his chest change and move and Shikon began to think he got it down. He tought that it might have taken a few tries but he guessed that he wrong. He felt proud of himself for this fact. His body changed and morphed in slightly painful ways until finally it seemed that his transformation was complete. He looked upward at Shizuka and it dawned on him that he was not as large as Shizuka had been when she had transformed. he was not quite a normal bat, being small and weak. But he was no way as large as he has hoped to be. It seemed that he needed more practice before that could be achieved. As he thought this his focus slipped from the transformation and Shikon's body quickly changed back to its original shape.
" Don't think of yourself so high and mighty Shikon. You must learn to use this power, you cannot just get it without putting some effort behind the training. Though this does feel quite strange to me as well. Usually we transform by merging our souls, this is completely new. " It seemed that even Ailan was put off by the way this was done. Though he was correct. He needed to focus more, he couldn't let such emotions get in the way of his training. How could he have let it happen? He felt foolish for doing so. He took another deep breathe as he let his body relax and stabalize.
