Appearence: Kichirou’s attire is a green floppy hat that he wears constantly, a baggy faded red hooded sweatshirt, shorts of the same color, and black leather sandals. His clothes are fading in color and rather dirty due to his poverty. Kichirou can usually be seen with his trademark goofy wide smile. He tends to try and at least look like he’s in a good mood despite bad conditions and hardships. Notable traits on him include his teeth, two of them are longer and seem akin to fangs. Also, he has a number of scars on his arm from trying to play with scorpions in his younger years. Other than that, there’s nothing very discernable about him, he’s a twelve year old kid on the shorter side, and very energetic. Seemingly normal. Kichirou tries to wear his Konoha forehead protector fastened around his floppy hat, but it often tilts towards the right, almost covering his right eye.

Hair: Kichirou has shaggy black hair that’s a bit on the long end, but sits well above shoulder length. It naturally sweeps to the right side of his face.
Eyes: a burnished mix of brown and red.
Body: Kichirou appears scrawny, but has a slim-muscular build.

Strengths: Kichirou seems to be level headed and calm when in difficult situations. However, that is not the case. Kichirou is simply hard to scare and disorient. He’s naturally almost fearless and is able to make decisions clearly when backed into a corner. Kichirou is also considered somewhat skilled in taijutsu for his age and is a quick learner when it comes to different close combat fighting techniques. This means that not only is he quick to learn and perform different taijutsu himself, but also recognize patterns of the enemy’s taijutsu. Kichirou has an indomitable will so it’s hard to make him stay down in a fight. He possesses a kind of innocent child charm as well, making him charismatic and easily likeable. Coupled with this is his value of friendship. Kichirou holds friendship bonds in high regard and having support from those friends could make him fight harder in certain situations.
Weaknesses: Though fearless, Kichirou isn’t exactly the brightest ninja. He tends to make hasty conclusions on the situation and act on them without thinking things through. Kichirou is an excellent, speedy user of taijutsu, but his strength is a bit lax. Just because he can hit the target doesn’t mean that it’ll be a devastating blow. He’s also lacking in basic ninja thrown weapon abilities. Kichirou’s aim with things such as shuriken and kunai aren’t exactly up to standard (that’s putting it lightly). Probably his biggest weakness is his immaturity and inexperience. Kichirou is stubborn, impatient and lacks critical thinking skills.

Description: This technique must be mastered by any ninja who has graduated from the shinobi academy. It's the most basic technique a Gennin must know, since it can be a real lifesaver. This ninjutsu creates a simple illusion clone identical to the caster. The clone however has no physical properties and will disperse the moment it is touched.

Description: Kawarimi is a widely used and very famous skill among shinobi. The user uses speed to their advantage, and grabs an item from the environment and places it on his/her current position while moving out of the way. This is clearly an evasion technique used to dodge attacks; however it can be linked with other jutsus or attacks to create massive damage if done properly.

Description: This Katon (fire element) ninjutsu is a very powerful technique that most gennin are not capable of performing due to the high amount of chakra concentration it uses. The user must first gather chakra into his hand and mouth. The mouth then shoots out fire and one hand is placed just out of the lips to control it into one intensely hot fireball. This attack is similar to a huge devastating flamethrower.
Background:
Kichirou’s life, or what he could remember of it, started at the age of four, when he arrived wandering the village of Konoha in a daze. He collapsed in the middle of the street and was brought to the house of a local farmer and his wife. When he awoke, he had no idea who he was or where he had come from. All he knew was his first name, Kichirou. The farming couple, Juyin and Akahime Mitsuhide, were concerned for him and decided to let him stay at their house while they searched for anyone in the village that might know something about him. Kichirou spent half a year helping out with the care of the Mitsuhide farmstead, they had miles of carrot and other vegetable crops, along with chickens and other livestock. Kichirou seemed not to be distraught about his amnesia, he was happy with the Mitsuhide family. During that half a year, the couple would spend hours in the village asking travelers and even locals if they knew anything about Kichirou, but nothing turned up. Finally, Juyin decided that he would adopt Kichirou as their son.
The years went by, and Kichirou was happy. However, he felt as though he was being watched almost all the time. It wasn’t something he could hear or see, but a presence he felt. At night he would sometimes have dreams of running through the forest, chasing after a howling sound with the scent of blood in the air. Despite that, Kichirou lived a comfortable life. Like most children, Kichirou wanted to become a Konoha shinobi. He entered the Ninja Academy at the age of six and received mid to high grades. Juyin and Akahime couldn’t have been more proud.
Something sudden happened after Kichirou’s seventh birthday. His adoptive father Juyin became deathly ill. The medical nin could not identify the sickness. They tried every antidote on record, but nothing worked. For another year, Juyin was bedridden, coughing up blood and spouting cold sweat. Kichirou tried to take over most of Juyin’s jobs on the farm, but he couldn’t do that and stay at the academy. Kichirou was thinking of giving up becoming a ninja, but Juyin’s last words persuaded him not to. “Kichirou. Don’t give up your dreams for anyone…. I wanted so much to see you graduate…I guess I’ll have to watch…from the heavens.”
Juyin’s body finally gave out to the illness and he died when Kichirou was ten. The farmland suffered, Akahime was working herself to the bone, but couldn’t tend to everything. Kichirou again desired greatly to quit the ninja academy. He didn’t want to see Juyin’s land waste away if he could do anything about it. But his adoptive mother refused to let him quit. “It wasn’t just his wish to see you become a great shinobi, but mine as well.” She said to Kichirou smiling. Akahime was soon forced to sell the Mitsuhide farmstead. She and Kichirou then moved into a tiny apartment in the village.
Now at the age of twelve, Kichirou has recently obtained Genin status and is ready to overcome any obstacle to become one of the greatest shinobi the world’s ever seen.

Sweat trickled like a river down his back. The blood and adrenaline rushed through his body. He pumped his legs like pistons. He had to go faster, faster if he wanted to catch up to the howling sound ahead. The trees of the forest all tried to stand in his way, but he was too swift to be hindered by anything. Faster. The sound began to ring louder in his ears. He was getting closer.
BRRIIING!
“Ah, damnit.” Kichirou muttered, clasping his hands around the ringing alarm clock at his bedside and threw it at the wall. “I was gonna see it this time.”
Though he’d had that same dream randomly throughout his whole life, Kichirou had never gotten to the end of it. He’d never gotten to see what made the howling sound that called out to him.
Weary eyed, Kichirou stood up and yawned heavily. He began to dress himself with a lazy sloth-like slowness. He was always like this in the morning. A zombie creature of routine. He could never remember what he had for breakfast or any conversation he had with his mother in the mornings. Kichirou was again on autopilot.
Before he knew it, Kichirou was sitting in class at the academy, staring at the board with a blank expression. Iruka-sensei was giving some lecture on throwing angles and techniques.
Kichirou gave a sudden jolt and held his head high in awareness. Iruka-sensei had just thrown a piece of chalk at him. “Sorry, Iruka-sensei. Um…what?” he said absent mindedly.
