Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. The ninja will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance. While it may seem like the user simply appeared or disappeared, the technique is actually a momentary increase in movement speed towards a set location

Kei's thoughts raced through his mind like a cheetah on the hunt, he never had so many ideas come at him at once, all of which were taking up space in his journals. He knew there were many jutsu for him to learn, all of which are going to require a lot of hard work and determination. He recalled of one technique used by many famous ninja, it was: The Body Flicker Technique. "This would be great for getting in and out of places in a hurry! He said out loud while he wrote it down in his ever growing journal. After writing his idea down in a hurry, he quickly shut the book and stuck it in his pouch before setting off for his training spot.
After rushing towards the spot where he trained tirelessly before when performing jutsu, Kei set up his targets to help him master the new technique. "Perfect!now all I need to do is memorize the scroll's instructions." Kei rummaged around through his pouch, searching for the correct scroll. Aha! Kei thought as his fingertips brushed by a rather moderately sized scroll. He pulled it out after grabbing ahold of it by the end, and broke the scroll to read it's contents. _________________ Kei's Theme!!!!!!! As Kei stood by one of the still, lifeless dummies, he read the scroll out loud to himself to memorize the instructions (so that he would not have to look back at it, throwing his momentum off). "Step one: Focus on your chakra as it flows through your body. " He continued to read after saying the first step out, making it easier for him to train later on (he didn't want to do each step separately before he read the next step. "Step two:Focus on your destination as you surge your chakra throughout your body. " Hmm...okay Kei thought as he finished reading the end of that step, his mind took in the instructions like a sponge.
"Step three: As you implement your chakra as you set off towards your destination, remember your footing, you don't want to trip moving at high speeds." kei read that last part with a gulp, he could imagine himself tripping as he traveled at high velocities.
"Step four: Continue to focus on your footing and your destination as you travel through the land at high speed, thus enabling you to reach it successfully. " Kei finished up the last sentence hesitantly, he was nervous of what dangers it would reveal, he didn't want to imagine himself being brutally skidded across the ground from the high levels of inertia. _________________ Kei's Theme!!!!!!! Kei rolled the scroll back up and put it effortlessly into his pouch, he was shocked as to what he read, and what sort of strain his body had to go through to perform this technique before mastering it. This was going to be a rough day for him, and it was only noon, if only there was a way he could learn jutsu faster. "Okay, Let's begin. " He said to himself as he focused his chakra. He was going to try to do this as perfect as he could, he didn't want any room for error, his thoughts where on his destination as he focused as hard as he could on his chakra.
He felt a burning sensation as he meditated intently on his target, He could feel his chakra flowing as he concentrated on the second dummy. [b]I can feel it...I should try to do it..Now![/color]" Kei oppened his eyes and focused even harder on his destination, after which, he felt his body move faster and faster as he ran, and as he did, time it's self seemed to slow down all around him. _________________ Kei's Theme!!!!!!! Timed slowed down all around Kei as he ran for his destination, and as he ran closer and closer towards the second dummy, it began to speed back up. {b] I wonder what it would be like if i focused even more chakra towards my destination?[/b] he thought, and in a split second, his footsteps began to quicken and timed slowed down even more. what's happening? he thought as he passed the second dummy, he couldn't stop, his feet wouldn't stop for him.
Whatever foul force possessed Kei, it was causing him to miss his objective.
Why can't I talk?my mouth...It won't move! kei began to panic as he ran, his body wouldn't quit carrying him even further away as his speed increased. For some reason, he was heading back for the inside of the city. Urgh!!I c-can't stop! Kei couldn't halt, or even pull a little emergency break in his mind to keep him from moving.
but then an epiphany came over Kei, he couldn't stop because he broke his focus on his real destination, so then he thought of making a new destination. that soap box would be perfect he thought as he began to concentrate on that spot alone. and in no time, he began to slow down, and when he had finally reached the wooden crate, a strong, spiraling gust surrounded him as he stood there, and in the next instant, time had reverted back to normal.
Kei felt cool as he stood on the soap box with the sand blowing in a spiral all around him. When it subsided, Kei stepped down from the box, and headed back to find the white haired ninja he met earlier.
