Appearance: Kura is a muscular man for his size, his hair is black as the night itself, usually going with an unshaven appearence but never allowing a full beard to grow in. His eyes are grey, making his face less than appealing to most individuals, he has some kind of mysterious charm with his hood up.

He has strong emotions but tends to keep his output to a minimum. This causes him to be unfit as a village ninja, and more or less a perfect bounty hunter persona. Always believeing in his own power Kura has led most of his life as a blacksmith, know wanting to know true power he roams the land, in a rather sadistic fashion, secretly consuming the bone-marrow of unlucky humans to fufill his born curse. Kura is a very straitforward man, when he says something he means it to the full extent of his ability, he will not use sarcasm... ever.

Spoiler:
Name: The Curse of Bone
Requirements: None
Description: Those bearing this Curse must eat human bone marrow in order to survive. Like all Cursed, reavers regain strength and heal quickly when consuming the according "body essence", in their case, bone marrow. Unfortunately for them, it is hard to reach in field conditions, so they usually have to take a human or a fresh corpse somewhere they can work in peace. However, it was this same reason that allowed them to remain completely undetected by humans despite being easier to trace than banshees.
Reavers are between vampires and banshees when it comes to balance of physical and mental strength. All their senses are a bit increased when compared to a human's, but not to the extent a vampire's are. Strangely enough, they are unperceptive to genjutsu techniques that restrict movement. For reasons unknown, those bearing this Curse are unable to use summoning animals: their blood simply flows off contract scrolls as if they were metal, the only exception being the special clan scroll.
Unlike all other Cursed, reavers cannot spread the curse "normally". This means that someone can be turned into a reaver only through a ritual, either a turning one or a curse switching one. However, the causes of this are the same as with the Curse of Blood or Flesh: a week-long illness. Interestingly enough, this makes it impossible for those not born as reavers to have Pure Blood if they possess a bloodline, because the ritual specifically does not erase it from one's genotype, unless they go through a more complicated process.
Name: Cursed Power: Reaver
Requirements: Pure Blood
Description: Pure Blood reavers have greater constitution than common human beings. Their strength is 30% higher and their bodies heal a bit better. In addition to that, their scaled skin provides some light defense in the passive state.
Name: Soulforging
Requirements: Pure Blood
Description: Reavers have always been the master artisans of the Cursed, and one of the most demanded areas of their craftsmanship was, naturally, weapon craft. In this they are without match across the world, and the secrets to their great creations are protected like nothing else. It is not known how they can create weapons of legendary power, but it is known that their weapons may possess the abilities of their fallen enemies. That is done by using the enemy's soul in the forging process, for which the reavers need to either ask the banshees for help or use Soul Traps.
This ability allows reavers to create custom weapons with power beyond other weapons of the same rank, and these weapons may have special powers reminiscent of a special ability or a bloodline of a dead character. However, it is required to have a role-play thread (or several) which shows how you acquired that soul. The forging itself must be done in character like kinjutsu training. The amount of points you need to make a weapon of a certain rank equals ("Difficulty Rating"/"Skill Rating").
Difficulty rating is 5 for C rank or below weapons, 10 for B rank weapons, 15 for A rank and 20 for S rank. Skill rating is 1 for Adept, 2 for Noble, 3 for Royal and 4 for Master and Lord. Acolytes and Neophytes cannot create weapons this way. Royal and Master Reavers may also reforge a weapon: in this case, the amount of points necessary for its creation is reduced by half of what it would take to create the old version. For example, a Royal is trying to reforge a B-rank weapon into an A-rank. He would need (15/3 - 10/(3x2)) = 3.33 points instead of 5. However, it can only be used to upgrade a weapon, meaning it can gain some new powers, which must stay true to the weapon's concept, or the old ones may become stronger, but the old powers cannot be removed. Â This ability can be used to create other items, unseen and unheard of, which may not be weapons at all.
Name: Telepathy: Reaver
Requirements: None
Description: This is an ability shared by all Cursed. It refers to the ability to establish a mental link between two cursed, thus "talking" instantaneously and without using actual words. They are also able to send messages to common people, though the latter would be unable to respond in this manner. These messages may include actual words, so that the receiver would hear the sender's voice in their head, a sequence of images or associations or just general emotions and feelings on a matter. They can also sense any Cursed within their sending range, unless the latter are suppressing their aura, thus hiding their presence.
However, reavers are still able to sense werewolves who are covering their presence. The power of a reaver's telepathy is enough to have additional uses. For example, reavers can sense any human within half their sensing range, so it is impossible to surprise them, and they can tell most clones created by ninja techniques from the real person. They can also amplify their sending when using visualization or emotions, which can be used to instill fear or a particular thought indirectly into a human.
The distance is 150 feet for E-rank reavers, 825 feet for D-rank, 1500 feet for C-rank, 3000 feet for B-rank, 5250 feet for A-rank, 7500 feet for S-rank and 11250 feet for SS-rank. If sending to a Cursed you don't know personally, the distance is cut in half, and to send to a human you don't know closely, you must have them in sight or within one tenth the normal distance. In addition, when communicating with one's clones, the distance is unlimited.
All Cursed have the ability to find another anywhere in the world, but they must know the person in question rather well and they'll only know which way to go towards them. Reavers can also tell if they are alive. This will not work if the one you're trying to find is hiding their presence, but werewolves are unable to block this ability used by a reaver.
Born in a Small Fishing Village of Reavers, hidden in the land of water Kura was brought up in somewhat of a pampered manner, his parents leading the small village of cursed. The village acted as a small hub and haven for his kind, usually guests moved on rather quickly, not wanting to become attached to anything or anyone within. Thus Kura was an only child in the most highest of senses, for he was the only child within the village for most of his life. When Kura became the age of eight he grew bored of the constant 'temporary guests' and asked his parents (Both of whom were pureblood Reavers, 'fallen' for one another) what trade of art they would prefer he learned, both parents suggested their own artforms, Modeling Clay from his mother, and Painting from his father, Kura knew then exactly what he craved, and Kura took an apprentincship under the local blacksmith. The blacksmith was an old reaver, whom survived countless battles simply because the armor he bore could not be defeated by the opponents, and his weapons crushed and broke the oppositions strongest fo shields. This was thanks to the reavers inate ability abilities, combined with his advanced blacksmiting experience. Kura worked hard, long and soon became a smith of his own, mastering his form by the age of 19 the old man passed on of old age.
It was at this point a man entered the village, immediatly the cursed within flocked around him, for he was not one of them, the man limping found mercy for a time, he was a missing-nin originally from the village of Kirigakure, and his weapons, armor and stomach were all empty and broken. He turned to Kura, the now town blacksmith to craft him a new arsenal of weapons, and offered no money, or other form of payment. Kura waited for the ninja to fall asleep while working on his masterpeice, a sword of true perfection, another would not come for an entire lifetime, engraved with the words "Death, is an Escape for my Enemies" he slew the ninja just before dawn, enjoying his first kills marrow until the next evening. Kura was not seen in the village again after that night in which he dropped the sword into the river, and allowed its perfection to sink to the bottom, claiming he would one day return and claim it, had he become worthy.
Kura left to become strong, to become a beacon for his people to not take crap from anyone, his only desire is too see the reaver people prosper in the natural place, above the human species. Unfourtanetly the village in which he came from was destroyed by friends of the slain ninja. Kuraitoru offers his hunted victims to the rest of the village in spirit before consuming it. always leaving something behind for them. _________________ "Shoot the kids and drown the neighbors!
