Rukia was sitting outside of her village, perched up on a large rock and taking in the fresh air. Well Shirayuki, might as well get some training in. Heavens know I need it. She slides off the rock and draws her zanpakuto. "Sode no Shirayuki," Yea, what do you want? Rukia shrugs, "You, or I rather, know what I want, quite being silly." Believe it or not, I have a silly side. But fine, Shirayuki blows a raspberry. The blade glows vibrant white and transforms. I guess we're gonna do that training to make my best feature useful eh? Alright, you take lead. Rukia places her other hand on the weapon's handle and she starts channeling chakra into it. She then brings the chakra into the handle and pours it into the ribbon at the end. With chakra in it, she tries to manipulate the ribbon. It isn't successful, but she continues to try.

It was obvious just trying was going to get her no where, so she thinks about another way of going about it. She takes her left hand and grabs the ribbon with it. For now she'd directly feed chakra into it, at least until she figured how to do the technique she was creating. Shirayuki just quietly sits within her inner world, waiting for Rukia to work things out. Rukia wouldn't have to waste much chakra, she just had to circulate it between the weapon and her. Seeing the zanpakuto was apart of her, this would be easier to do than if it was a foreign object. She circulates the chakra within the ribbon, and tries to alter the flow in order to control the ribbon's movements. It switchs directions, going the opposite way the wind it blowing it. However this wasn't the precise control she wanted. This was merely changing the general direction and not control each part of the length independantly.

Keep going, I'm almost there. Rukia continues the adjust the level on which she's controlling the ribbon, gaining more control as she practices with it. She makes the ribbon go ahead of her, but it's speed is something to desire and it isn't as straight as it should be. You have any suggestions Shirayuki? Well, I'm only me after all. That there is an extension of me. Rukia nods and closes her eyes. She imagines the ribbon as a nature part of her body and tries thrusting it forward. It happens, but she doesn't see due to her closed eyes. She relaxes the chakra within the ribbon and it falls gently by her side. Opening her eyes, she tries thrusting it foward again. Seeing that she successful, she works on the delicate control of making if bend and curve in midflight. After and hour of practice, she decides to go on to learning another jutsu.

How about something I should've learned years ago. The Hell Butterfly. Good idea. I just never got around to it. It's just a matter of simple materialization. Kinda like a lesser zanpakuto, I mean once it's in existance it stay that way until destroyed. Yawn... Fine, fine. Rukia closes her eyes and concentrates. She gives off a bit of chakra, and uses her will to form it into a butterfly. At first nothing happens, but slowly and surely it appear hovering a few feet above her head. She continues to concentrate, and develops three more, one after another. She opens her eyes and ceases concentration. They all disappear, Don't worry, they are still there technically. Just on standby. So what's next? Time for some more Kidou. Shirayuki was a bit bored, Rukia was learning such simple techniques. She wanted some excitement. She thinks for a moment as Rukia decides what to train in next.

Shirayuki gets off the ice tower she's on in the inner world. I've had enough of this. I'm quite bored, and think you need to bring it to the next level. Rukia starts to ask her what she ment, but is interrupted by a small snowstorm that happens around her. And I'm tired of keeping to myself in the inner world. You never come to visit. the snow dies down, and she's standing there in her shikifuku. "Since when could you?" It's not about a zanpakuto's inability. It's about what they feel like. The none release version of her appears in her hand which she points it at Rukia. I'll still have to prove myself, so get ready. The snow kicks up again, cutting visiblity. Rukia allows herself a grin as she thinks about how funny how Shirayuki is talking. Now that she was in the physical world in front of her it seems like she would use the normal terms to address herself. Oh, well that's besides the point.

Rukia sees a flash of silver come towards her and blocks the blade. Take some of this, Shirayuki dashs around Rukia, stabbing and slashing at her through the snow. Rukia blocks to the best of her ability, but a couple of back attacks get through to her. I'm better than this. Show yourself what you're made of! Rukia jumps up, using shunpo to boost her. She looks down to see if she can get out of the snowstorm. It's covering a large area, so she can't. The best she can do is stay in the eye of it, which was right where she was. She notices a shadow above her and turns in midair to see Shirayuki flying above her. "Shakkahou!" she fires off a red missile, then allows herself to consider the fact that Shirayuki has wings. She turn in just enough time to land on her feet. Shirayuki comes down with a diving attack, but Rukia rolls out of the way. Making sure she doesn't get too far into the storm, she dashes back into the middle.

Shirayuki meets her with a fast stab that almost finds it's way into and through Rukia's shoulder. Making a the few steps to the side that saved her from a shoulder injury, Rukia performs "San no Mai. Shirafune." She stabs at Shirayuki, which backs up and pushs her blade up with her own. The blade absorbs the freezing properties and turns into another copy of the shikai release of the blade. Don't forget, Shirayuki says with a mischevous smile, We are Sode no Shirayuki. Her own blade glowing white and she swings at Rukia's blade. It shakes her sword hand, as well as freezing her weapon and the arm it's in. "Nani?" You don't have time for 'huh'. Shirayuki gathers chakra into her weapon and hits Rukia with the broadside of it which knocks her further into the storm. Shirayuki smiles and rests her sword on her shoulder. She was glad she was so smart. Rukia had blocked that hit with her frozen arm, which shattered the ice and absorbed part of the damage.

Rukia's hand was shaking though, even with the ice to protect her arm it was a powerful blow. "Not much of a combat zanpakuto, huh? Nope, I'm the Kidou type. But I still know what I'm capable of, that gives me an edge in combat. That and I'm closer to being being fully released than 'Sode no Shirayuki' in this form. Let's continue. She place both hands on her weapon, giving Rukia the chance to be offensive for once. "Tsugi no Mai, Hakuren!" Heh, A tail comes from behind Shirayuki and forms a mouth. It uses Shakkahou, then Shirayuki flies up. The projectile rips through the mini avalanche of snow, and Rukia barely avoids it. It burns into her side a little bit and another two rain down from the sky. Holding her side, Rukia jumps back twice to avoid the other two. Seems she even knows my Kidou, I'll have to watch out. Especially if she decides to use Haien.

I need to be more fiercer, but I need the confidence to go with that. I need to be more in tune with my swordsmenship even as kidou user. I wonder if I'll understand that, it's important before I can use Bankai. "Tsukishiro!" The column of ice gets Shirayuki in the leg, nearly freezing her completely. She breaks the ice away with her weapon and flies out the way of the rest of the attack. Hidden by the snowstorm, Rukia's ribbon wraps tightly around Shirayuki's leg. She had to jump for the ribbon to get to her, and she uses her own body weight to pull Shirayuki into the ground. Wasting no time, Rukia jumps at the grounded self. Shirayuki block her strong downwards strike, and both fight to push the others blade away. Enough. Shirayuki knocks Rukia off with a chakra boosted shove.

Trying her best to alter her midair course, Rukia rolls away once hitting the ground. She springs to her feet in enough time to see Shirayuki flying towards her. If the blades reflected light better, the next thing an observer would see is a series of silver flashes between the two. Rukia knew herself, and counters each and every attack that Shirayuki launchs at her. Unfortunately for her, she was doing the very same thing. Shirayuki lands and swings her tail right for Rukia's kneecaps. Rukia jumps over it and stabs towards her head. Shirayuki blocks her blade with the broadside of her own weapon. Knowing she can't hold it this way without Rukia simply altering her blade's course, she moves to the side. Her weapon pushes Rukia's blade to the side.
