Hair: Her straight hair is a pale blonde, which almost matches her skin. Her hair in the front is longer than the back, and messy bangs cover up her forehead. Fine and narrow eyebrows are usually hidden by the bangs, being represented by a fine brown hue.
Eyes: Her eyes are of an auburn color, but they appear more brown in darker light.
Body: Karina is a petite female, lacking in both weight and height. It runs in her family, but it’s something she isn’t ashamed of. She has pale and fair skin, which is unable to tan. Instead, she suffers from painful burns if too much exposure from the sun reaches her delicate skin. Fortunately, her skin has a smooth texture, and is soft to the touch. Her complexion is a slender one, giving her a deceivingly frail appearance. Now, Karina isn’t all that confident in her strength, but she can defend herself efficiently.

Personality: Karina bestows a variety of characteristics that makes her the young woman she is. At first glance, she is quiet, and keeps to herself. To strangers, she only speaks when necessary, and only in straight-forward fragments. She makes an effort to keep herself isolated, preferring the calmness of being unaccompanied by a fellow person. Perhaps she is anti-social, but she has accepted that willingly. Making acquaintances is quite the challenge for her, as she evades these opportunities. Even while being confronted, she speaks and behaves in a way that clearly states her inclination towards solitude.
Beyond the detachment and loneliness, Karina is quite compassionate. She has a soft side for nature, and those few people gain her trust. She detests unnecessary feuds, trying to help resolve them without a swing of a fist. However, if combat is required, she isn’t afraid to strike. The female keeps herself at peace by indulging in literature, expanding her imagination and keeping her ghastly memories at bay. When it comes to arguments, Karina typically loses. Even if she strongly believes her point, she cannot be bothered to verbally scrap to win. She accepts these losses, although she keeps her unchanged opinion to herself.
Intelligence is one of Karina’s more evident and positive qualities. She thinks rationally, and doesn’t jump to conclusions. She plots her moves, words, and actions carefully, aiming for the best results. Driven by determination, the female is ruled by a sturdy spirit. Giving up isn’t an option to her when she seeks knowledge. Irritation overcomes her when questions are left unanswered, because being confused or uneducated makes her feel feeble.
Earning her trust is nearly an impossible endeavor. With a past composed of lies, she cannot really distinguish truth from fiction. She only has dependence in herself, as she fears putting her faith into some stranger will render consequences. She tends to be untrustworthy at times, feeling as though she can fib if others can do that to her. She does, however, cave into multiple acts of kindness and trustworthiness. If some people are keen on acquiring her trust, time eventually will erode the barrier she has confined herself behind.
Hardly ever smiling makes her come across as pessimistic and serious, but Karina is generally blissful all the time. She remains laid-back in many situations, and even enjoys a good laugh on occasion. To those who achieve her trust get to experience her better and more joyful qualities. She can strike up good conversation, often about intellectual topics, but she is capable of being humorous. Karina has less difficulty being around males, as she was practically raised by her older brother. But still, people are typically a nuisance to her.
Karina does have a dark side to her, but it rarely surfaces into her persona. People who mistreat her in any way gives her ample opportunities to seek revenge. She strongly believes ‘what goes around, comes around’, so she will undoubtedly return any sort of favor to someone, whether it be out of kindness or rage.

Name: Bunshin no Jutsu - Clone Technique

Description: Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.

Description: Henge no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents. However, it does not grant one the properties of said objects or skills of that person, meaning turning into a weapon will not allow you to cut an opponent and turning into a dog will not give you a great sense of smell.
This technique can also be used in conjunction with someone, who may a person, a pet or a summoning creature, in which case it is called Konbi Henge (Combination Transformation). However, its principles remain the same.
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu - Body Substitution Technique

Description: Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. Naturally, it won't work with another person unless their skill gap is enormous, and the object to replace oneself with must be close in size and weight to the ninja themselves. This technique must be set up a little ahead when fighting skilled opponents, otherwise, you may end up getting struck because you wouldn't have enough time to use it.

Name: Katon: Endan - Fire Missile

Description: One of the most basic moves of fire element school of ninjutsu, it expels a stream of fire from the user's mouth. While not very fast, strong or versatile, it wins against other fire techniques of this rank in lower chakra cost and the ability to keep a constant stream of fire as long as you have chakra to fuel it.

Description: After forming the required hand seals, the user will expel a vast cloud of ash from their mouth. It effectively blocks the sight of anyone caught inside, and when the user clicks their teeth, the cloud will ignite in an explosion. Someone unfamiliar with this technique may be fooled into thinking it's supposed to block their sight and take heavy damage as a result.

Description: This is a fire element ninjutsu that requires no hand seals. By focusing their fire natured chakra, the shinobi can create jets of fire that will run along the ground towards their opponent. Alternatively, they can launch fireballs or rings of fire at a prefered target. While this technique requires no hand seals, it isn't as strong as most fire ninjutsu of the same level.
Name: Katon: Karyuudan - Fire Dragon Missile

Description: A technique resembling Housenka rather closely, it doesn't take many hand seals and is almost the same in principle. The difference is that the fireballs created by this technique are faster and more potent, able to deal considerable damage in a direct attack.

Description: A strong fire element technique. After making the necessary hand seals, the user will take a deep breath and exhale a large stream of searing flame. This is, without doubt, one of the most powerful fire ninjutsu. This flame can be expeled continuously for a constant, but not very high, chakra drain.

Description: This is a devastating fire element technique. After forming the necessary hand seals, the user will expel a huge mass of fire from their mouth in a wide arc. This fire spreads along the ground like napalm and is hard to put out. Once the jutsu reaches the maximum distance, which is about sixty feet, the fiery mass combusts again, causing a large explosion. Only someone with a strong affinity for fire element can execute this technique.

Name: Raiton: Raikou no Ookami - Lightning Wolf

Description: A mid-range technique which utilizes lightning element. It does not require any hand seals to be used, but is limited in range. The user will channel some lightning natured chakra into their hand and a wolf made of lightning will appear beside them and charge the target. This wolf is connected to the user's hand with a lightning "leash", which is how it's controlled, but it is limited to forty feet range because of this.
Name: Raiton: Rai Bunshin no Jutsu - Lightning Clone Technique

Description: This technique creates a physical replication of the user made from lightning. It acts like a normal clone with a physical form and has the full physical and jutsu ability of the user, though it is still quite limited in chakra amount. When it is hit, the clone will burst into lightning, effectively shocking anyone who was within two feet of it and dealing light damage to anyone who was touching it. It doesn't require many hand seals to be executed. Any special weapons the user may have had on them when using this jutsu will be copied partially, losing any special qualities the original has.

Background: Karina was born into an ordinary family in a small village in Kaze no Kuni, minus a father. Yet, was missing a parent ordinary? Her father had left on a mission a few weeks before she was born, but he had failed to return. He was a Kazeraikou, and his unusually white hair and bold brown eyes were passed down to his two children. Noble, ambitious, and courageous was a few words to describe him, but most importantly, he was a family man. He lovingly tended to Karina’s mother and her older brother, Kai. He was five years old at the time of Karina’s birth, and was quite mature for his age. He took the death without tears, knowing his father wouldn’t have desired his family to crumble under the weight of such a tragedy.
Karina’s mother was a herbalist, but it was difficult challenge to raise a family and earn ryo. At a young age, Karina had to become independent, as her mother wasn’t around at home too often. However, Kai kept her company, keeping a watchful eye on her during her first few years of life. Without a father, he felt it was necessary to protect his little sister, and to be a good role model for her. His mother was thankful that sibling rivalry wasn’t prominent between the two; it was one less problem she had to concern herself with.
The two siblings spent much of their time together, playing and training. Kai showed off the techniques that their father had began to teach him before he disappeared, each of course, required a lot of practice. Karina was fascinated by the swiftness in his movements, and especially the determination that embodied her brother. He was an inspiration to her, much like their father was an inspiration to Kai. However, their father was rarely spoken of, as it was a great loss to Kai and their mother; Karina was too young at the time to understand the grief of death.
As Karina aged, her interests in training grew along with her. If she wasn’t with her brother, she was occupied by books to expand her knowledge. She started to read at a very young age, quickly appreciating the satisfaction of her curiosity that was associated with books. The desire to nurture her strength began to overwhelm her, distracting her from the more simple pleasures of being a child. Kai was bewildered by this behavior, seeing that his little sister was beginning to surpass himself. It was obvious when they sparred for fun; Karina had developed this new found potency. Kai was defensive of his sister, but it appeared that she could care for herself now.
About a month after Karina turned eleven, tragedy struck the Zai family again, permanently tearing it to shreds. Karina wasn’t in a deep sleep when shrill noises emitted from another room in her home. After the rude awakening, she gazed around with an alarmed expression. Clamor like that never occurred at such an hour of the night. Immediately after rushing out her room, the repulsive scene of blood and bodies welcomed her. Her mother and brother laid motionlessly on the floor, both soaked in their own blood. While her mother obviously perished, as her chest never rose or fell again, her brother grasped to life. With tears stinging her eyes, Karina hustled to Kai’s side.
“ Don’t be sad, dear Karina... ” her brother spoke, with great difficulty, “ We all have to go someday... Please stay strong... Dad would’ve been so proud of you... “. With those final words, Kai’s head, along with the rest of his body, became limp. Karina merely kneeled there for a few moments, unable to comprehend what just happened. She had so many questions to ask, which would always remain unanswered. Who would do this to her innocent family? Was it the same person who claimed her father’s life so long ago? Her head ached, her eyes stung from tears, and the stench of her own family’s blood left her stomach churning uneasily. She shifted back against a wall, leaning there quietly, hoping this was just some terrible dream.
Unfortunately, the events were all real. When Karina awoke the following day, her family’s bodies still laid there, inanimate in their private puddles of blood. She could no longer remain at this house, as the memories would always haunt it. She left with her grief, straight to the academy. Her first goal now was to train; she needed to become stronger. Even though it was too late to prevent the death of her family members, she desired the strength to defend herself. She was also determined to avenge her mother, and especially her brother. He seemed to be the only person who had faith in her, so this was the only way she thought was worthy enough to pay him back.
Once arriving at the academy, she took her studies very seriously. She threw all her social aspects away to achieve the greatest knowledge she could. She didn’t want friends; strangers were unreliable, and distracting towards her goal. Years passed with this same attitude, making her intelligent yet disliked. Grief sheltered her from being happy like she was when she was child, but the satisfaction from the education she was getting through the academy was adequate.
Karina was guaranteed to graduate the academy due to her fervent working habits and the determination she had to become as knowledgeable as possible. She showed no emotion when awarded the title of genin, only the hard face of new purpose and the will to find out and avenge the fate that had befallen her family. From that day she set out in search of her families murderer, wishing to know the truth behind the event and to find the one responsible so she could return the favor.
Karina traveled throughout the lands for quite some time, coming up with no possible leads of her elusive prey. Growing weary of the search but nowhere near close to giving up, she made her way towards a small town, hardly big enough for people even to notice it during a passing. She rested here for the night at a local tavern, where she was visited by a man who seemed to have a defined purpose as well. No more than a few words were exchanged, Karina held fast to her personality of shyness and solitude was slightly disturbed by the man's presence yet also comforted. The decision was impulsive and left her mind full of doubt after but she felt it was the right choice down deep.
Karina had chosen to travel with the man known as Azurei, a prophet as he told her. He was traveling around as well, no real destination in mind, leaving her with the freedom of deciding where they would go. It suited her mission, giving her still the freedom to search for her families killer as well as some support in her endeavor.
