Description: Sharingan is the bloodline limit doujutsu of the Uchiha clan. It possesses several powerful abilities, though it is developed through three stages. When just awakened, it is in Stage 1, with only one tomoe located above the pupil; in Stage 2, another tomoe appears, and they are now located to the left and right of the pupil; all three tomoe appear in Stage 3, and they are located in a triangle shape around the pupil: one directly above and the other two to the bottom left and right. The Sharingan is activated by sending some chakra into the eyes. It does not cost much, but only a true Uchiha can have it activated for prolonged periods of time without risking their health.
Stage 1: The initial stage of the awakened Sharingan, it only gives the clan members some basic abilities. Among these is the ability to see movement somewhat faster than what they would normally be able to and to detect chakra. This allows them to react better and gives them higher accuracy than most. Thanks to the chakra detection ability, many camouflage techniques are rendered ineffective. This stage also allows them to see clearer than normal.
Stage 2: The second stage of the Sharingan allows those who possess it to see everything with even better clarity, including objects that would normally fall out of sight because of their speed. This allows them to dodge and attack as if their taijutsu skills were one step higher. Additionally, visual genjutsu of rank B or lower can be dispelled instantly, without any chakra cost or a need for a special technique.
Stage 3: The third and final stage of the Sharingan opens even more possibilities for the clan members. Their vision of moving objects improves further. Their ability to see chakra and movement allows them to memorize the techniques used by their enemies and copy them, one of the abilities the clan is highly famous for. Additionally, visual genjutsu of rank A or lower can be dispelled instantly, without any chakra cost or a need for a special technique. |
Hizeme/Shugo/Kuzo
IC: Sitting on the roof of one of the tallest buildings overlooking the buisness district in Konoha Hizeme watched the pedestrian traffic below. He came here often too people watch, he felt more at ease and his head was a little clearer when he was sitting on the edge of that building with his legs dangling over the edge watching the many people scurry from one shop to the next. This day was especially hard on him, since he graduated the academy he has been waiting for the day to come when he would get to go on missions and test himself against other shinobi and that day was just on the horizon. He had recieved the message earlier that day that he was to meet up with his squad leader to go over their squads next mission tomorrow, this by itself was fine but his mother had read the message and knew that this one wasn't going to be another walk in the park like his last few missions and so she was worried about him, to the point of telling him he should stay home. Doesn't she understand that this is what I signed up for? The element of danger just comes with the job and I accepted that before I made my choice he thought to himself as he looked out over the crowd that had gathered around the entrance of one of the nearby shops that was popular with the women of the village since it carried the latest fashions from other villages and such a thing was a rarity in the middle of the desert.
While he sat there and watched the commotion something caught his eye. Three guys ran from the street and into the ally, it seemed that two of them were chasing the first and finally caught him as they entered the dimmly lit ally way behind the shop. He decided to get a closer look, after all it wouldn't be the first time his meditation was interupted by some petty squabling and he's had to put an end to it. So he jumped to the roof of the shop and looked down from the edge down into the ally above the three men and indeed it looked like two of them had some business with the first guy. That was when he noticed the headbands tied around the foreheads of the two men who had the other pinned against the wall of the shop and realized that they were fellow shinobi well now, I wonder what is going on here he thought as he decided to inquire as to what exactly their business was with the man. Jumping down from the ledge he landed behind the two shinobi so as not to be noticed and spoke up so what do we have here, don't tell me you two shinobi are picking on this guy for the fun of it? The two shinobi were obviously startled because as Hizeme spoke they jumped and whipped around to face him with a look of shock written across their faces and at that moment he realized he had stumbled onto something complicated.
Hizeme instantly recognized the faces of the two shinobi, he had graduated from the academy with the two of them Kuzo Minaki and Shugo Reijuta, of all the places to run into the two of you he said out load becoming a little more nervous great it had to be these guys, I thought I was rid of them when I graduated. I can still remember all of those kids that they bullied in class, I don't know how they were allowed to graduate with the rest of us. Well if it isn't the teacher’s pet, long time no see Fuukyou Shugo said with an evil little grin on his face and even though Hizeme was older Shugo was still a little taller and had a bigger build to him making him an impossing figure in the ally, yeah what are you doing here runt, this isn't any of your business so beat it before things get ugly Kuzo barked from behind Shugo like the toady he was. [coloe=darkred]I think things became ugly the moment you showed up Kuzo you little worm, now in what way has this man wronged you enough for two shinobi like you to chase him down in the middle of the market place[/color] Hizeme inquired making sure to keep a close eye on the two of them.
The man stood behind his two old clsssmates, he couldn't stop himself from shaking as he leaned his back against the wall of the shop. But somehow the man who seemed to Hizeme like a weasel of a guy worked up the courage to speak please help me! These men are trying to take my mon... his pleading wa cut off when Kuzo landed a powerful punch in his gut causing the man too double over and fall to the ground. Turning to look down at the man Shugo spoke up now that's a shame, this could have gone smoothly too but you had to go and open your big mouth he said landing a swift kick in the guy’s ribs. Hizeme watched this scene unfold and still wanted an answer to his question that's enough I demand to know what's going on here, what has this man done to deserve such a beating and why are two shinobi who are supposed to uphold the jutsice in the village attacking a defenseless man in an allyway he yelled loud enough to let them know he was serious as he brought his right hand up across his body and pulled a kunai free from the pouch on his arm preparing himself for the worst.
I'm sorry you had to see this runt, I truly am. But this isn't your problem, this man owes someone money and we are just here to make sure he lives up to the deal, that is justice Shugo stated in a monotone voice as he turned to face Hizeme so now you have a choice, because we know each other and all I’ll offer you this just once, you can either turn around and leave or stay here and share this piece of trashes fate. Hearing the choices he was given Hizeme didn’t even take a second to think it over before responding if you insist upon this course of action then I’m going to have to stop you from harming this man any further he told the two shinobi as he took a couple slow steps towards them his mind racing ok so what if I was never able to beat these guys in sparring, this is now and I have to help this man, just calm down and remember the training, just use what’s at your disposal he thought while shifting the kunai from his left hand to his right before jumping towards a stack of wooden crates piled against the back of the shop and grabbed one with his left hand and hurled it at Shugo while bringing the kunai around with his right hand and throwing it also, keeping the kunai behind the box to keep it from his enemies view he hoped it would work. But to his dismay Shugo who mostly trained in taijutsu was able to deflect the box away with his hand causing it to shatter as it crashed into the back wall of the shop while his reflexes allowed him to just barely lean out of the path of the kunai. Hizeme smiled as he spared a second to watch before reaching around and unsheathing Usuba from his back, he knew Shugo’s abilities and knew he might be able to dodge the attack but he had planned ahead and positioned himself to make sure Kuzo was standing behind Shugo before he attacked so now the kunai that Shugo had instingtivly dodged headed straight for Kuzo who unfortunately for him was a Genjutsu type shinobi and was never as physical as his partner which left him little chance of avoiding the oncoming blade. Kuzo had kept his eyes on the man who was still doubled over in pain from his previous beating but his attention snapped to Hizeme as he heard the crash of the wooden crate on the shop wall, it was just his luck that he was able to see the kunai in the nick of time and was able to move his heart out of the path of the blade, instead it found its way into his right shoulder making him wince in pain.
After making splinters of the crate and dodging the kunai Shugo charged towards Hizeme trying to get in close to use his physical stature to his advantage but Hizeme wasn’t going to get drawn into something so foolish. He knew he didn’t stand a chance against the lumbering figure in front of him in a straight out fight, even though he held his family’s katana in his hand that wouldn’t do much good if he didn’t have room to use it properly so he needed to change the location of this fight to a more open spot before he backed himself into a corner, so as Shugo charged and Kuzo pulled the kunai out of his arm Hizeme reached his left hand into his pocket and pulled out one of his smoke bombs and hurled it at his feet. The smoke quickly spread throughout the alleyway blocking the view of all inside it, Hizeme made sure to take advantage of this and jumped straight up an onto the roof of the shop and took a quick look around trying to find a spacious area. It took a second but he noticed a gap in the buildings a little ways off just a few blocks behind him so he started leaping from one roof top to another, he didn’t look over his shoulder, he didn’t need to he could hear the two shinobi yelling after him as they made their way out of the smoke cloud.
With one final jump off the roof of the last shop in the market next to the town square Hizeme landed on the ground next to the clearing he was hoping to see. This will have to do for now and it’s late enough in the day so there aren’t many pedestrians in the market so no innocent lives should be lost here. I just have to make sure I’m ready for those two morons when they show up, at least I injured Kuzo so it should slow him down for the moment, that just makes Shugo my main threat. Hizeme pondered over his next move as he studied his surroundings but he didn’t have enough time to properly formulate a plan before the two rogue shinobi came into view. Shugo looked pissed, he had always had a short temper in the academy and it hadn’t improved any since then. He landed on the ground with a thud and charged straight for Hizeme, he didn’t have a weapon in his hand, he didn’t need one. Hizeme knew he shouldn’t go straight in so he reached into his equipment pouch with his free hand and pulled out three of the ten shuriken he kept with him and threw them at the charging shinobi simply trying to turn his attention to the oncoming blades. It worked, Shugo focued his attention of the shuriken and ducked underneath the three flying weapons, it was at that moment when he took his eyes off of Hizeme that the young shinobi seemed to disappear from view though in fact he only jumped straight up into the air trying to come straight down with his blade onto the bent over enemy. But Shugo didn’t fall for it, he could see the shadow of the enemy above him and jumped to the side as Hizeme came down with Usuba intending to land the blade in Shugo’s skull but instead it stabbed into the dirt of the market place. He knew he was in trouble now and Shugo didn’t miss his chance, with Usuba stuck in the ground and Hizeme disarmed he didn’t stand a chance in a fair fight against the taijutsu user and Shugo was able to land a swift puch in Hizeme’s gut causing him to slightly double over while still holding on the the handle of his sword which was still lodged in the ground.
Hizeme struggled for a second to catch his breath but he didn’t have time to think before Shugo landed another attack, a powerful kick landed on the side of Hizeme’s head causing him to roll along the ground for a couple feet and wince in pain as he made himself get to his knees and struggled to get back to his feet with Shugo charging him once more. As he stood there and pulled a kunai from its holster on his arm to make sure he was armed for the oncoming attack he wished that he had studied hand to hand combat a little more when he was still in the academy and let a small smile slip across his face while Shugo just a few feet away pulled his arm back in preparation for his next attack.
As Hizeme stood there with the kunai in his hand and the small smile on his face, he tasted blood and it still hurt to breathe. He knew that he was in no condition to dodge Shugo’s punch; he didn’t have the speed to match him or the strength left to endure it. His smile faded as Shugo’s fist came rushing towards his face and made sure not to look away, if this attack was to be his undoing then he would face it head on. But as he stood there in the middle of the town square with his previous schools bully about to finish him off something that confused Hizeme took place, as Shugo’s punch was about to hit its target it seemed as if time itself began to slow down and his punch went from being a blur too casually finding its way to its mark. He wasn’t sure what had just taken place but he felt a surge of energy wash over him like a wave of power came out of nowhere and swept him away and his hand shot up and connected with Shugo’s wrist successfully deflecting the deadly punch away from his face. He wasn’t sure what was guiding his movements but for the moment he didn’t care what was going on and chose to embrace the turn of events, Shugo was in shock from his victory being stolen from his grasp and Hizeme took the second of hesitation and used it. With the punch deflected away Shugo’s guard was down so Hizeme stepped in closer up from his side and connected it with Shugo’s jaw with a crunch making the imposing shinobi stumble backwards wincing in pain.
It was like completing a jutsu for the first time, he felt a new strength flow through his limbs and he liked the feeling. This time a bigger smile spread across his bloody face as he rushed towards Shugo was trying to regain his balance and landed a powerful punch to his gut making him lose his breathe that’s for earlier Hizeme said to the shinobi at his feet who was trying to get back up. Strolling a few feet over Hizeme grabbed ahold of his sword which was still stuck in the ground and pulled it free and walked back over to Shugo who had managed to get to on his hands and knees and was trying to stand. Hizeme raised Usuba and brought the sword down to rest on Shugo’s neck this is over Shugo, you lost. You and your lacky over there should leave now before I decide to make this victory more absolute he told him in a monotone voice. Shugo shifted a little and looked up at Hizeme and an expression of wonder and fear spread across his face as he looked into Hizeme’s eyes, which were still a pale white but now bore several strange symbols that he knew weren’t there a moment ago what the hell are you he asked as he got to his feet, at that moment Kuzo appeared next to Shugo and let the hurt shinoobi lean on him before they both disappeared.
Standing alone in the town square Hizeme suddenly felt exhausted, he noticed a well nearby and strolled over to it putting Usuba away before pulling up the bucket containing the cold water. As he scooped out some of the water he looked into the bucket and was shocked, his eyes had changed and now they were covered in small symbols. That’s when he remembered from when he studied his clan, the sharingan, that’s what is was called he thought as he took a drink and sent the bucket back down into the well. Turning to walk away he thought about what Shugo had said before he left what am I?......I’m an Uchiha he said with a smile as he headed back home.
