Name: Hunters Paradise
Requirements: Darkness Affinity / Animal Like abilities (includes Pets) / Hunting and or Tracking Background / Blind Character
Description: During the day everyone is equal, but at night, no man is safe. This ability is meant for those who operate mainly at night or work in vision impaired situations. At night, a normal person wouldn’t be able to see without a special piece of equipment. With this ability, night can appear as visible as day.

But this skill doesn’t end their. All the training in darkness to be able to see at night has given them another trait. This jutsu also has a purpose during daylight hours as well. If vision is impaired for some reason outside of an effect to the eyes; the elements, jutsu environment effects(hidden mist technique), or some other related form, the person using this skill can see the world around them as if it wasn’t affecting them by using their hearing. It is believed that the greatest ninja of the mist village capable in the Silent Killing Technique might have used this training method, but couldn’t master it as well as the people who can use this ability. The people with this ability are better at fighting in this situation then even the greatest Silent Killing Technique user.

If trained enough, this skill is believed to even be able to sense an individuals aura. There are some ninja who posses a variation of this skill. If someone says they can feel the hatred of someone nearby, or the malcontent of their aura, this would be a weak variation of this. It is believed that with enough training, one could actual feel and separate these aura, or even go further then just that.

Training Required: This skill is trained as a 2 point Kinjutsu X each stage. (Rank # X 2 = Kinjutsu point requirements) Permission must be granted by myself before any Rank Up training.

Special Notes: Rank 2 and 4 can be learned with special permission without learning Rank 3 version. Each rank combines with each other.

1st Rank: Ability to sense and see better in dark places. As long as a little light is available, vision isn’t affected by the darkness. Ability to sense danger through hearing is increased.

2nd Rank: After training in darkness, the individual who masters this rank can hear with extraordinary accuracy that they can pinpoint the location of an enemy using sound. This rank can also go by the name Silent Killing Technique. Only the best masters of that fighting technique have moved on to the next stage (Rank 4).

3rd Rank: Mastery of this rank allows vision in the dark to be completely possible. Even in the darkest depths of hell, one could see as if it was a sunny day. This also has an effect during daylight time by allowing the person to see long distances and into shadow, thus making it hard for one to avoid being seen.

4th Rank: The person is so adept in fighting in the hardest of situation that pin point accuracy can be made just with hearing. If this person where in a football field size room and blinded, if a fly were to buzz around, this person could find its location and kill it with ease. This allows hearing to be at its highest potential for a normal human. This ability also allows pinpoint hearing. If the same room above was full of people talking, this individual would still be capable to find the fly, and hear it as if it was as big as a house. This rank can also go by the name Silent Killing Technique Master. The greatest masters of this technique would be equal to this level of rank.

Yes, if different enough. For instance, I have a Bloodline technique that works similiar to Kagura Shingan. I could probally find some other examples.

well since i have to go from Rank 1 to Rank 7 would that be different enough?

In truth i am not even sure if i will use that ability, or if it will even be rank 7 but just for information sake and to keep in mind.

Presumably with this skill you'd be more susceptible to sound based attacks? That seems like a fair enough weakness.

I assume if you were using sound to focus on the target that produces it. If not then it would only be a normal affect.

Reason: This can be used to focus on a single individual in a crowded room to hear just what he/she, or if two, they are saying to each other. Everyone else would be slightly drowned out. You can say the same about the eye as well. For instance, sleeping then someone opens blinds and bright light enters your eye and it hurts, and everything seems brighter and is hard to see for a moment.

I mean...i will elaborate more later after class. But this isn't supposed to be above human potential. Or at least not to far above. Except the eyes...haven't met a person yet who can see in pitch black..

Um, not sure the context your taking that in. One thing at a time as in only hearing, so i can't see, or or as in if i was focusing on watching something in the dark, i wouldn't be able to hear them.

Lets take this in a personal context.

Your in a large room by your self. Someone says i will drop a pin in the room raise your hand when and if you can hear it. Some people might be able to hear it, some might not. Some can tell you generally where it fell, some can tell you almost exactly where it fell.

Or your in a room filled with people talking at a party, for this purpose, people you don't know. You could walk in and after a few seconds, be able to hear the one person in the room you do know.

This happens in real life to some people. This is an adaption of this but goes further. That pin drops i can tell you how many times it bounced and exactly where it is. If their is a stranger whose voice i know, or a certain phrase of words i am trying to hear, i could pick them up and hear them very well from across the room. Though I didn't suggest super human, but i guess it can be taken that way. Someone can be momentarily effected by the increased sound emitted, but it won't cause an exceptional increased amount of damage, minimal increased sure. Though it would be stressful and impossible to sleep if someone could hear everything all the time. (dare devil movie joke)

For sight though, this is super human. To be able to see in pure darkness or to see like a cat is not something a person can do. The instance of someone turning a bright light straight on you when your eyes had adjusted to darkness hurts, but it isn't going to cause blindness, it will just take a moment to regain your vision in the light. And it will hurt like hell for a moment. (momentary blindness, if light comes slowly then no blindness)

Now lets say you are in the woods and someone is trying to kill you. Or even better someones. You can use this sense of hearing to have a better chance of knowing where they are or might be coming from. But you can also use your eyes to see them as well. Point of hearing is you can't see behind you, point of seeing is cause their are other noises in the woods, or perhaps they can circumvent this. Going into stone for instance.

Now if i am taking a break, i might or might not, most likely will not, hear them coming. Talking to friends or you know what ever. But i might be able to see them coming if they are coming from within peripheral vision range.

It would be like, you are talking to your friends. It is an interesting conversation. Then another friend walks up to you from the front. Now, you might not notice them cause of your conversation, and you might see them before you get there. It all depends.

God modding: Yes of course, someone could godmod this just like anything else. Though this can stop Godmodding even better.

Example i gave on the jutsu version:
2 people meet in the dark woods. One has this ability, the other doesn't. Who has the advantage? The one who does.

Same 2 people meet on a sunny day in a field, who has the advantage? The stronger person.

Guy walking around at night with sunglasses can navigate around perfectly as if it was day is ludicrous. But a person with this ability can navigate easily.

A person can still sneak up on him from behind, perhaps he isn't' paying attention? Someone can't be on guard 24/7, they would go insane.

This is why i put so much into Kinjutsu training. It requires massive training to be able to use this skill properly. Someone can't just learn it out of the blue. It requires hard long training.

How many points should i make it? 2.5-5 X rank number? Or should i have it 2.5-5 or so to rank up each? Still not sure on this
