Description: After the user forms the necessary hand seals, this technique creates a thick mist in the surrounding area. Said mist is used to block the sight of anyone and everyone in the target area. It can be useful if the user wants to make an escape or relies on senses other than sight in battle.
Ryo stood up next to the tree and was bored again and had the time to learn atleast 1 more jutsu. This would be a little hard because he had already learned a few jutsu to begin with and both his head and his muscles were hurting from learning many things. He looked through his damp book again and saw an important jutsu. He needed to learn it to become the next Mizukage. He would only learn this before someone came to teach him, preferably the Mizukage. He put his hands into seals while looking at the book. He forced chakra around him and noticed the area become covered in mist. He looked through the mist and then forced his hands into a seal. He forced a bit of chakra into the mist, making it get a little thicker and thicker. He then looked through it. To his dismay, it hadn't gotten much thicker than he had wanted. He could still see through the thin mist and was planning on using it for an attack. He would need to use it if he came up against someone who heavily depended on sight. He would also need it to set up for many jutsu he would use. The mist in the air would help him perform jutsu that needed water in the area. Coincidentally, as soon as those thoughts were thought, it began raining. He didn't really want it to, he didn't want to seriously get wet. He sighed annoyed and hand sealed again. He forced his chakra up and felt the water around him like an extension of his own being. He forced his chakra into the air and the mist started getting thicker and thicker. It was getting a little hard to see through it, but he could still see where he was. He just needed a little more, then he would make all of the mist go away and he would do it again as fast as possible. It became so thick than all he could feel was the mist upon him. Not even the quickening of the falling rain. The rain seemed to be getting absorbed by the mist around him and becoming apart of it. The light was being refracted around him, making white light in the area turn into rainbows streaming overhead and around him. He flicked his hair once, making himself look a bit dramatic before forcing his chakra up again, he was going to try and make it dark only using the mist. He was going to see if he could make his hand invisible in front of his face. He was getting a little tired from working this whole time, but he was going to finish it at any costs. He only needed to force a little more chakra in, then dissipate any mist, then force it out again. It wouldn't hurt him too much would it? He forced his chakra out of his body and into the mist with his eyes closed. His chakra bubbled about with his suiton element. The chakra went into the mist and thickened it to a major extent, drowning out any and all light. He tried to look at his hands when he opened his eyes and found that it was quite hard. He had to squint his eyes to look at his hands and that was good if he needed to escape. He watched as the mist around him was letting up. He could see his hands and he also saw the rain that had now picked up. His clothes were ringing wet and he shook his head hard to make the water flick from his hair. It hit the ground in puddles and he brushed the water from his clothes with ease. He then saw as the mist was completely dissipated. The sky was bright, yet it was raining very hard. It was completely paradoxical, yet it existed full well. He looked up at the sunny bright sky and even felt the warmth from it. He yawned once and looked at the clouds around it that were the culprit of this damned rain. He forced his chakra up once more and created the mist again, he watched as the mist grew in size and thickened in areas. He had almost mastered the technique, he only needed to see how thick he could make it at any time possible. He continued forcing the chakra into the air, watching as the mist grew thicker and thicker. He couldn't even see his own hands so he decided to just close his eyes and focus on forcing chakra around him. The chakra once again bubbled in the suiton nature and the mist grew to a major extent. He had completely learned the technique now. He dissipated the mist and walked off, flicking the last bits of water out of his hair.

Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. The ninja will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance. While it may seem like the user simply appeared or disappeared, the technique is actually a momentary increase in movement speed towards a set location.
During all of this rain, Ryo thought it the perfect time to learn yet another water based ninjutsu attack. He would worry about Genjutsu when he got a bit stronger. He would guess that he was about D-Rank, when he felt he was C-Rank, he would start on Genjutsu. He laughed at himself and thought a bit, thinking, I'm slow.... I need to get some jutsu that affect my speed under my belt..... He looked through his book up to the D-Rank jutsu and saw Shunshin no Jutsu. It would be great for him because all of this wind could work as a shunshin for him. He looked at the required hand seals and did them accordingly. The rain dropping on him messed up his focus and he missed a seal. He grunted in anger and attempted it again as he stood under a tree. He forced up his suiton chakra and it glowed blue around him. He watched as his body was beginning to dissipate in mist and he disappeared, reappearing in the exact same spot. Now all he needed to do was get the timing and speed right. Then he would get a proper cover for when he used it, like leaves or rain.
