Personality: Has a bit of a problem with following rules and likes to do things his own way. Doesn't usually listen to others unless they have gained his respect in one way or another. Often a bit reckless and idiotic, but overall a good guy. He's also very social, especially around girls even though he doesn't usually have much luck with them.

Description: Santoryu is a way of sword fighting that deals with the wielding of 3 daito katana; one in each hand and one in the mouth. There are many different techniques for this sword style, including high speed attacks, direct hit attack, and even projectile attacks. Although users of this style specialize in the use of 3 swords at once users are usually skilled in the ways of Nitoryu and Ittoryu as well(two swords style and one swords style) This style was created by a great swordsmen centuries ago. Using this style it was said he slayed hundreds of men at once. Many people today still ridicule the style and claim the stories as false leaving only few people in the world who actually train and master it.
Background: Kyoukan didn't live the best childhood ever, but it wasn't the worst either. He lived with both of his parents and a few siblings. He was the oldest and the ones his sibling always looked up to for help when they needed it. He usually wasn't very responsible but when it came to them he was the most reliable guy in the world. He had to be with his father a drunk that was never around and his mother becoming a prostitute just to support them. His other hated that job and would always come home crying or in a bad mood. His father didn't even care when she came home with bruises or other injuries. One night Kyoukan decided to take things in to his own hands and took a katana and killed the men who hurt his mother. That was the first and last time he had killed. Within the next week authorities had found out it was him, but instead of throwing him in prison they struck a deal. Apparently the mist village was a bit short on forces at the time and a couple of the men Kyoukan had killed were highly respected in the village for their strength. They could sense potential in him and thus he enrolled in the academy at a late age. It was Kyoukan's only choice if he wanted to continue taking care of his siblings.
