Name: Hayai & Taira
Description: Two hand size twin Japanese traditional fans made of steel. Underneath the paper design, each ridge in the middle of the fan are steel blades, perfect for turning defensive maneuvers offensive. When closed the fans are ten inches in length and opens up so that the ends are a complete 180degree angle, every ridge in the middle dangerous. Looking at it length-wise it looks about a centimeter wide, and if sharpened can be used to cut as well. When opened the ridges complete a full five inches of width. Although that is only fan form. These fans also produce the ability to open up to a full 360 degree circle turning them both into destructible disks. Can not be used for hand to hand combat in disk form. Hayai and Taira can only be used for hand to hand combat when they are closed, or opened 180 degrees as fan forms.

i knew i worded that weird...ughhh...its like how the fans unfold you know how its not completely smooth? theres ridges and what not, each ridge is sharp like a blade. so like if you were swinging at me, and i opened the fan to parry it, your fist would be cut if you punched the middle of the fan, cuz of the ridges. ouch.
