The Earth government unveils the first in a line of colony ships; given conditions on Earth are deteriorating in the face of overpopulation, hitching a ride out to a colony becomes a highly attractive option. Additionally, the Earth government plans to attach military personnel to each colony, to help better utilize the massive (and expensive) standing fleets. Because FTL travel is still fairly new and expensive, colonists and military personnel face a stringent regimen of physical and mental testing. In theory, only the best-qualified citizens and soldiers are allowed to colonize "nearby" worlds. This is the birth of the Inner Colonies; typically Inner Colonials are—later in the timeline—considered the elite, the best and brightest.

Project SPARTAN II begins on Reach with 75 conscripts. Project SPARTAN is an attempt to develop an effective, surgical military team to relieve political tensions and circumvent civil war.

Guilty Spark is destroyed by the Master Chief, who then activates the Halo and heads towards the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn. The Arbiter and the Master Chief make it onboard the ship, however, the slipspace Portal is deactivated as the Halo stirs. Half of the Frigate containing the Arbiter passes through the Portal, and the other half containing the Master Chief and Cortana stays behind.

A few year after the so called war end, there were reports of another weapon, like halo. Master Chief John and the Arbiter are missing. USMC had another project on the way, The spartan IV program.

I'm spartan 254, from an undercover special op division. There were more like me, not sure what they are doing now but he hoped they are well. Code name Hydra, I'm ready to be dropped on an uncharted planet with a few other spartan to survey, we are not sure but their could be flood infestation here as well.

Spartan 254 this is pilot Fare, we are approaching drop zone 25487-102 be ready.
A voice over his intercom click in and out.

I clicked my com, "This is Hydra, ready for orbital drop." I pulled out an special chainsaw combat knife given to the people in my unit, powered by super scaled down version of a Pinch Fusion Generator. I place it back on my hip and got ready.

"Monty, what do you think we will find here?" A voice in his helmet spoke. "I don't know." My Armor was the MJOLNIR Mark VII prototype, Rogue.

spartian 513 was special but not in the normal way but he was the first in developement of a type of sparten code name "tankers" the reason was becouse unlike the other spartans the where more powerfull and armored. 513 armor was a lot thicker than the other spartians and he had his spartan laser and a large rifle that he called the "thumper" for the sound of each bullet as it fired on his back and a old fashion glock on his hip. he stood up a full 8 feet tall and 2 ton iron man. "254 when are we goanna drop." he asked his rough voice was almost that of a mountain crumbling onto itself. his prototype armor buzzed as parts moved making it easier to move. he folded his arms as a voice buzzed in his helmet. "dont forget your there to make sure that they dont die you do that and i will make a lot of money." said the voice of his sponcer who liked to remind him that he spent a lot of money on him. "i know mr. kamo i wont fail." he said as he turned of his cummunicator not really in the mood to talk to him.

Hydra looked over, "I say in about 10 or so Tankers, and please call me Hydra how many time do i need to remind you."

"Monty, are you ready for this?" A voice clicked in his helmet. "Sophia, long range scan when we drop, i want to know what out there and what we are going to be up against. I want no surprises."

"Understood"

Hydra hit the red button on his chair and it enclosed him inside a drop pod, He punched a few buttons and looked at his vital monitor. He was ready, inside with him along with his combat knife was the BR55HB SR Battle Rifle is a gas-operated, magazine-fed, shoulder fired, mid-to-long range weapon, which fires in short 3-round bursts. with the option of semi-automatic, or fully-automatic. Hydra clicked it to burst rounds.

"Almost time."

"lets do this" he said to himself as the the pod closed and he locked himself in. "no work no pay." he thought to himself as he turned on his com. "hydra see you topside." he said as a countdown went off. "4 minutes to drop." said the com as it went off agian.

This is Poilt Fare, Drop in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 Good luck Spartans

The tubs erupted, Tanker, Hydra and other spartan was launched down toward the planet below. It was a thick gray fog surrounding the planet, but the drop pods seem to flow threw them with ease. unknowing to the spartan in the pods the land was all mountain based, very few water sources and almost no vegetation sources.

"Monty, I am picking up something on the long range scanners. It seems like we are not the only ones who found this planet."Sophia said.

"Hydra clicked a few buttons, is it the Covenant?" Hydra asked.

"No sir, something else, not the flood either." Sophia said.

Sophia was Hydra AI partner, after Cortana proving really useful all other Spartans was partner up with one that fitted their personality. "Sophia relay that message to all other Spartans."

"Roger Monty." Sophia said.

"Call me Hydra when we are working" The pod hit the ground, leaving a crater. Hydra walked out the pod and looked around the area.

tanker held on as the pod headed into the astsmospere at sound breaking speeds. the machinery in his suit seemed to be going crazy as it adjusted to take g force away from the man in the suit. the pod landed heavily on the ground making a loud crunching noise as rock and such grinded into dust by the heavy pod and passenger. the seat unbuckled itself and "tanker" walked out into the rocky autsmosphere. "seems almost peacefull." he said as his AI came to life. "i agree lance." it said as the parts adjusted themselfs. "call me tanker while were here." he said as he pulled out his thumper and walked to where the other pods where. another AI came on his helmet. "I am picking up something on the long range scanners. It seems like we are not the only ones who found this planet." said the AI "hydra told me to tell you." she said as she dissapeared. Lance nodded and walked to where hydra stood. "dont forget worst comes to worst get behind me" he said as he put a new clip into the rifle.

Hydra nodded as he click his com on, "All Units, we are going to work in a 2man cell for now. We are going to be having company soon, best course of action learn your surrounding ASAP. Myself and Tanker is in charge, if you find anything report to us."

"Yes sir"

They all moved out, "Tanker, lets move." Hydra started to walk off down a hill.

"Picking up some strange structure up ahead. short bust area scan... scanning... scanning... Stop walking. Quickly hide behind those rocks." Sophia said. Hydra ran and ducked behind the rock she said, he motion his hand to Tanker to hide as well. Out the distance, some ship flew above non that he has ever seen before. These surely was covenant ship, "Tanker you ever seen those type of ships?"

"Sophia ping that location, See if it comes back green or red" Hydra asked.

"Pinging..." Sophia responded.

"Prototype ships huh? Could this be a new base of operation? One thing is good, we have the element of surprise. As long s no one..." Hydra was cut off.

"Taking fire to the south, Marine down I repeat Marine down." Came threw over the com.

"Hostile enemy to the south. Sophia said. "Well that answer that question," Hydra jumped over the rock and ran off towards that direction. "Back me up Tanker," weaving threw boulders, his armor was lighter than Tanker, he was able to be more agile but if he took to many direct hit it would be the end of him. His armor was called rogue for a reason. His armor has the capability of blending in with the surrounding for a short while, The idea was taking from the Elite combat armor who's were more superior when it came to camouflage, but he was trained to only need it for a short while.

Taking fire to the south, Marine down I repeat Marine down." said the com. "Back me up Tanker,"said hydra as he weaved threw boulders,tanker nodded as he took his spartan laser from his back and charged it."sophina activate prototype google 3xhs80." he said as his armor hummed as it was ready for the kickback. his sight increased ten times and the heat signatures from the creatures were right in front of him. tanker gripped the laser as it was finnaly ready to fire and fired it stright at one of the humanoids hoping hydra would get the other.
