Name: Haldur Thalion

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Physical description: Haldur stands at a short 5'5". He is slim, but not too skinny, weighing in at around 115 pounds. His hair is a fairly plain dark brown color, cut short, and always curly. . He is built for speed more than strength. Haldur's irises are mainly green with hints of brown and yellow in the middle, and hints of blue around the edges.

Village: Born and raised in Mist, but his parents were originally from another village.

Element: Water

Favored weapon: Wrist knives, metsubishi, and kunai (for close ranged purposes).

Equipment: Haldur wears a modified version of the standard uniform. The neck rises above his mouth, concealing the lower half of his face. Since this muffles his speaking, he has developed a habit of tilting his head upwards a little while talking to people so that he can speak clearly. He carries around few weapons other than his wrist knives and metsubishi; mostly kunai, and very few shuriken. He always has two distinctive wrist knives attached to the inside of his forearms. They extend from the base of his wrist halfway to his elbow. They are customized for Haldur, and though they are mechanical, they are chakra controlled. He can sheathe and draw the wrist knives by exerting small amounts of chakra in his wrists to trigger the mechanism. Haldur also carries two metsubishi at his side. These metsubishi are filled with homemade a ground chili powder that is mostly capsaicin. He is also working on developing a sort of flash bomb that will render the victim both blind and deaf for a short period of time. So far it has a nasty tendency to explode at the wrong times, and he doesnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t ever use them in real combat.

Fighting style: Haldur uses very little ranged weaponry, even though he is proficient with it. He prefers to use hand to hand as much as possible, as it makes him feel like the battle is more personal, and will therefore have more pride in his wins. He specializes in Hapkido, and uses it all the time, not only as a very effective way of defending against and countering taijutsu, but also to attack. He does use some taijutsu techniques, but they are greatly influenced by his training in Hapkido. This is much better for him than taijutsu, as taijutsu requires great strength, while Hapkido does not require so much strength as technique and speed. Rather than using ranged weapons, he uses his speed and trickery to get close to the enemy. He uses his wrist knives as close ranged weapons, but also has drawn a kunai from time to time. Haldur uses very few complicated jutsus, preferring to use the simple ones in different and often more effective ways. He often sends in a mist or haze clone instead of himself before a fight, and jumping out unexpectedly when they figure out that itÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s a clone.

*note on fighting style* When fighting Haldur, expect to be evaded and tricked a lot. This is one of the main points of his fighting style. He makes up for the lack of powerful jutsus by using cunning and deception to try to win. He tends to run out of tricks fast enough though, if you continue fighting.

Hard worker (only about thing he believes to be important, i.e. not chores)
High level of chakra control for his level
Trained in Hakido, which many ninja are not familiar with.

Very intelligent

Weaknesses:
Prone to bouts of rage

DoesnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t know any higher level jutsu (most know one or two at this level)
Not very strong
Can often be over enthusiastic about training and missions.

Background:
As people know it: Haldur is born of foreign parents who had taken up residence in the village of Mist. They donÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t like talking about where they lived before the moved to Mist, and most people donÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t bring it up twice. His father was a highly ranked ninja specializing in espionage and was fiercely loyal to the village. He disappeared on a mission while Haldur was still young. Haldur was raised mostly only by his mother, as he had no other relatives around. Haldur has worked hard in the academy. He is persistent and persevering in his training. He spends days trying to find new ways to use old techniques and complete his mastery over them before moving on to new techniques. He has also trained for an extended period of time with a traveling Hapkido master. The master was wandering through the area, teaching willing students. He found Haldur to be especially enthusiastic, and stayed longer than usual in order to train him. He does not seem special in any way. No hidden bloodline or secret powers have revealed themselves.
The truth: Haldur is not in fact the son of the people claiming to be his parents. His parents were sent by a band of outlaws to act as spies in the village of Mist. They found a family who looked enough like them with a small child. They killed them and took the child to use in their disguise. The HaldurÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s true parents come from a long line of shroud ninjas, but HaldurÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s grandfather was disgraced and cast out, though not killed due to his loyalty to the village. They lived in poverty, working on a farm fairly far away from the village. HaldurÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s fake father did not actually die on a mission, but betrayed his entire team, and returned as planned to the outlaws. His fake mother stays on in Mist, continuing to gather information. Haldur is completely unaware of these facts, and to his fake motherÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s knowledge, no one else in the village is aware of her either.

Sample post:
Haldur continues across the tree after checking it for further traps. He checks the other side just behind the stump of the tree which had just fallen across the gap. *Yup, it's a pit trap. I thought there might be one of those here.* Haldur jumps over the trap, grabbing onto a the branch of a tree behind it. The branch breaks cleanly at the base (having been cut precisely to do so) and Haldur starts to fall. He whips out a kunai in each hand and stabs them forcefully into the tree to which the branch was so recently attached. This slows him down enough to stop his fall. Reaching a foot down, he carefully brushes the grass and leaves off of the large caltrops and spikes underneath. *Yet again, he's one step ahead of me. Dangit.* Haldur carefully clears the caltrops away and steps carefully around the spikes. He continues further into the forest. The slope became steeper there, as he got closer to the top of the mountain.

The traps got trickier and even harder to see as Haldur moved up the mountain. He bent down carefully to draw another line in the dirt around where another wire was. A whistling noise came from behind him and to his left. Having trained with ranged weapons, he recognized the sound immediately, and dodged without looking. A barbed arrow thudded in the ground where Haldur was just kneeling. Haldur ducked behind a tree and pulled out his kunai. *I really should get some of those wrist knives. I wouldn't have to reach into these pockets all the time.* Haldur prepared some Haze clones. They occupied the exact same space as Haldur, being intangible, and mimicked his every move. He jumped out from around the tree, ready for the second arrow. He dodged to the right, and two of his haze clones dodge to the left, still overlapping each other. Haldur spotted the small wood elf with the bow, still far away from him. He pulled out a shuriken and tossed it at the elf. His Haze clones did the same, each shuriken converging on the same target. The elf disappeared among the trees, and the shuriken thudded into the tree behind where the elf was standing.

OK first off you have a few too many jutsus. You can only have 5, and they have to be either E or D-rank jutsus. I'm sure that flicker technique isen't one of the two. 2nd off you don't describe your bloodline here. If you have a custom bloodline you post it in the custom bloodline gatagory, and if its approved you can keep it. Your bloodline don't look that powerful so I'm sure they will let you use it. AND not that its my bussiness to say this, but for christ sake somebody join sound!!!!! Leaf isen't as powerful as you all think. Too many underestimate the power of sound.

You've got lots of description thats good, except you need to put the description of your jutsu in and reduce the number of them to 5

He thinks he is Genin...change rank to Academy Student....then lower Jutsu to 5, inlcuding Henge, Kawarimi, and Bushin. Also l]post bloodline in 'Post Bloodlines' section......otherwise pretty good.,

Most (if not all) ninja above genin know it means that it is a very common technique. It does not necesarily mean that anyone bleow genin rank cannot preform it, nor does it even imply it. It is a simple technique that doesn't even require handsingns. It even says in the article that it is "A very basic jutsu" Also, a genin using the haze clone technique can create hundreds of clones, as seen in the manga. An acadamy student wouldn't be able to create that number, but can still use the technique.

They are different. In Body Flicker the user can move so fast the naked eye cannot see it nor hear it, I AM FINE WITH THAT IF YOU ARE A GENIN, NOT AS. In mist, water, and sand Instantaneous Body Skill, the opponent can actually see the mist, sand, or water thus able to possibly repel it....(Oh yea there is a leaf Instantaneous Body Skill as well) also the opponent can hear a rustle of water, leaves, sand. Mist you cannot hear, but it is much more notice able by the naked eye. So as I said before pick another jutsu, use any of the Instantaneous Body Skills that you want I dont care, Body Flicker is Genin and up.

Also As I have said before, I DO NOT CARE what wikipedia says, the jutsus here are based on the jutsu list. Or if you create a jutsu. This is Final.

Also I cant find Haze Clone for some reason. If no one else cant find it in non custom jutsus, can you post it as a custom jutus?
