Guard Duty -- Chiisuchianu's First Mission!!!

OOC: I hope this is right in how you start a mission, its literally my first one on this website.

Chiisuchianu walked toward the building he was supposed to meet at for his first mission.
Who was he supposed to work with again?
Chiisuchianu had already forgotten, but he hoped they'd already be there and know who he was to save him the embarrassment of his forgetfulness.
Chiisuchianu looked at the many shops along the way with the intricate signs hanging on the shops' windows. As he looked at the glass of one he saw his reflection. He always was drawn to looking at his own reflection, examing his features, but more so himself, as a person. He began to think of the path that lie ahead of him, one of a shinobi now. He could only hope to make his family proud and grow strong, in order not to disappoint them or let down the family name. He had to train, he had to grow stronger, but he had his duties as well. His father was chuunin at a younger age then he was now... and he always let him know this.
A gust of wind came down the street, breaking his thoughts, there it was... the meeting spot, and no one was there yet. He sat down, resting his back up against a large stone building. Waiting, he soon became lost in thought again...

Bakura never enjoyed strolling through Kohonagakure No Sato. People always gave him vicious looks. He wouldn't have minded if they were judging him based on his glowering attitude but he could tell they hated him for being from Otogakure No Sato. It was a great country that sought for the betterment of its people. How could anyone hate that? None of it made sense to him so he stopped dwelling on it.

He had a mission to attend to. He knew it was with two other genin. His mood soured even more; he hated such simple missions. They were barely even harder than training exercises. He walked down the street in deep thought although his senses were always prepared for an attack. The buildings around him were of brightness from the glowing orb above. He hated having to work during the midday; it was always so hot and stifling. Worst of all, a lunch rush had gathered. He was constantly being pushed and bumped as people moved past him.

He finally found the meeting spot and was able to break out of the stream of people. He looked upon another shinobi; young, male. He had a fresh face; possibly naive. He bowed slightly and moved towards him. " Chiisuchianu, correct?"

"Ya, thats me," suddenly the named clicked in his head, "Bakura right?"
He looked at Bakura for the first time, he looked sickly and pale. How could someone who looks so sick be still alive? He thought.
He actually felt sorry for this shinobi, no doubt he had other skills that made him good enough to be considered a genin, but Chiisuchianu could tell they werent in taijutsu.
There was something about his eyes that struck Chiisuchianu, they were deep and analytical, he was probably genjutsu or ninjutsu Chiisuchianu thought.
Still sitting down Chiisuchianu offered his right hand, for a handshake, saying, "Nice to meet you, now we just gotta wait for the Kiri jounin to arrive."

Takashi sighed as he arrived at the gates of Konohagakure no Sato. He had only been to one other hidden village once, and he hated it with great frevor. The Village Hidden in the Clouds took away his family, his girlfriend, and his best friend. He heard Konoha was a different place from Kumo, but he didn't trust rumors and words that were spread around from person to person, they could get so twisted that you didn't know who was telling the truth and who is telling the lie. So that's why he took the mission.

The mission to go to Konoha and look at it for himself. Sure, he had to do guard duty on the side, but at least he could look at the village and NOT get sent in for questioning as to why an enemy nin was in a different place. As he wandered the village, he eventually found a two other ninja waiting on a bench.

"Which one of you is Chiisuchianu? I'm the Kiri Jounin who is to support you in the mission. Takashi Kaguya." he said, introducing himself.

Chiisuchianu looked up, did that ninja just say he was a Kaguya? They are renowed taijutsu specialists and warmongers, as he recalled the stories in the family archives.
Trying not to be judgemental Chiisuchianu kicked those thoughts from his mind, gotta give the guy a chance he figured. Having no jounin sensei a thought popped into Chiisuchianu's mind, perhaps this guy could teach him a thing or two while on this guard mission. It was just supposed to be a routine mission anyways.
Chiisuchianu stuck out his hand for a handshake, "Hey im Chiisuchianu Shihōin, and i think we're ready to go whenever," he said lookin over at Bakura.
Chiisuchianu hoped neither of them recognized his noble family name, he hated that. People always assumed he was an arrogant aristocrat type, always trying to be in command, or that he was somehow an elite shinobi by birthright...

He looked over and shook his head softly in resignation. He did not bother to move his hands to accept the hand shake. His life would not be wasted with formalities and courtesy; his last days must be filled with honour. He stood up and nodded curtly the the jounin. He was prepared to have this mission start and end quickly. It crossed his mind that he might regret this later. The strange thought lingered for a moment and he finally turned around and grabbed the oustretched hand. He gave a curt handshake but it was better than anything he would ever give.

A squawk above sent his eyes glancing upward. A falcon flew in circles overhead; it blotted out the sun and squawked even louder as Bakura laid eyes upon it. It dropped down several feet before circling only ten feet above them. Bakura visibly calmed and he spoke with a softer tone. " Shall we be going?"

"Yes. Let's go find the client." Takashi said. He quickly started to climb up the roof of a small building and then started hopping from rooftop to rooftop. He decided to go that way to give him a better view of the Hokage's tower and to avoid all the foot traffic they were sure to encounter if they had stayed down below. Though he doubted he would have missied the Hokage's tower either way, the tall building stuck out like a sore thumb among all the squished in stores, apartments and homes.

The moment he reached the Hokage tower, he stopped. The client was waiting for htem at the entrance. When the whole team was assembled, he heard what the village elder had to say.

"Thank you for taking up this request. All I ask is that you escort me safe and sound to the Shinobi Academy so I can take care of some important business. Normally I wouldn't need escorts, but I've been watched lately, so I can't be sure if something is about to happen." The elder explained.

Chiisuchianu smiled as Bakura shook his hand. He was glad to meet an Otogakure shinobi as an ally rather than an enemy.
"Took you a while," Chiisuchianu said laughing, "but hey its alright, I suppose it's kind of akward meeting a Leaf Shinobi as an ally."
Chiisuchianu left it at that, because no sooner had he finished what he had to say than Takashi had taken off toward the Hokage's Tower.
"Cmon Bakura," Chiisuchianu said jumping ontop the roof and following Takashi. For a moment he wondered if the poor sickly looking Bakura could even jump high enough to get on the roof. But he decided to forget about this kid's sickly appearance and judge him on what he saw during today's mission...

It should be a quick one...

Chiisuchianu greeted Aiko Aoi properly, his family knew the village elders well and this was part of the reason he got this mission. His father would no doubt hear about his sucess or failure of this mission from the elder.

The elder said his bit about the mission and as they began walking down the street got into a disscussion with Chiisuchianu about the village politics and how his father was fairing in the courts with various feudal policy. Chiisuchianu understood what he was talking about, but remained alert and ready (after all he was supposed to be on guard), he felt it more appropriate to learn what he could of these two other shinobi that he was on duty with.

Diverting the conversation politely Chiisuchianu asked, "Hey do either of you know the Shunshin?" He asked awkwardly, "its a jutsu I have always wanted to learn."

Bakura followed along without much protest. He was lost within his thoughts and trying to control his shallow breath. He could feel the dark cloud looming ever closer. He tried to push it out of his mind, out of his consciousness but it would not lift. He knew nothing he could do would slow it now. The heart which a moment ago was beating with the pounding of drums grew slower and more erratic. He closed his eyes and waited for his heart to stop.

Moments later his body collapsed. His breath had slowed to a crawl. Bakura tried to move but his body was not responding; completely numbed and already gone. He could barely keep his head lifted and jaw moving as he finished his last statement. " Please," He begged weakly. " Please... Lay me... In Oto...Gakure..." His voice trailed off when his body lost all strength. Darkness enveloped him and laid him in eternal slumber.

OOC: Holy shit!~ did you just kill off your character without a second thought???
And what the hell do I do know, Bakura is dead and Erik Hatake hasn't said a single post for over two days... time to end this rp abruptly I guess...

Chiisuchianu looked up to realize he was talking to no one, Takashi was gone and he wasn't sure he even remebered Bakura following them. What the hell happened to that kid, he could almost swear the last the he heard of him was "Please... Lay me... In Oto...Gakure..." but that didn't sound right. THat would imply he was dead... was the kid really that sick? And why had that jounin ditched us like that? Huh, figures you can't rely on enemies Chiisuchianu thought... But then he looked up realizing they had already arrived at the Academy.
What the hell Chiisuchianu thought, that was faaaast!!! He said his parting words to the elder and took leave, time to report back to the Hokage. But there was something he had to do first, that was find that kid, check the path they took, just incase it wasn't his overactive imagination that had him thinking he said something like that.
As Chiisuchianu traced his steps, to his suprise he found Bakura lying there, face down. He checked his pulse, nothing, this kid was really dead huh? Chiisuchianu remebered what he had said about being buried in Otogakure... he would do what he could to ensure that happened. Chiisuchianu carried the body back to the Jounin who had assigned him the mission and explained the whole thing, the Jounin said they would take care of it...
For Chiisuchianu, this was one hell of a day, and one hell of a mission. Chiisuchianu thought to himself, if this is what being a Shinobi's like, then he figured he would have a lot of crazy stories to tell at the end of his career...

OOC: Might as well consider this RP finished... I can't believe someone just had their character drop dead... I can understand the kid not wanting to RP in this topic anymore... but damn, killin your character like that... I've never seen it in any of the forum rps ive been at
