Eric Hatake sat on the rolling plains of grass, taking in their scent one more time. Leaving Lava and Kirigakure was hard enough, but now.....now he was leaving Konoha again. He wasn't abandoning them for another village, but as Sannin, he got the right to not live in the village anymore and travel the world. That's exactly what he was gonna do. On one side of him, his wolf spirit Fernir layed waiting. On his other side, his gennin apprentice Kite Hiroshi stood tall. Eric let his golden eyes wander, taking in everything. Today was the day of reckoning for him.
"When we leave, there's no turning back." he said to Kite.
"I know." Kite responded.
"You're gonna be put through hellish training. No more kids games." Eric continued.
"A risk I'm willing to take." Kite answered.
"If you die, you have no one to blame but yourself." Eric finished.
"If it comes to that, I will die fighting proudly." Kite declared.
Eric got up and smiled. He stretched for a bit and took out a small pocket mirror and looked at himself. Salt and pepper hair, golden eyes, face mask, scars, headband. He had on a midnight blue jounin vest, filled with various hidden weapons, scrolls, wire, medicine, etc., including his Blade of the Thunder God. He also had on midnight blue long pants, and boots. In his trusty sheaths, layed his katana's Blood Fang and RyuRaiKiri. Putting away the mirror, he thought of all his changes. "I betrayed Konoha, self-scarred as punishment. I married my true love, only to find out that our feelings were dead due to her brother. I became a Sannin, took on an apprentice, only to leave Konoha again. I need to write a book on this."
Kite looked at his master sadly. He knew he betrayed Kirigakure by becoming Eric's apprentice, and that Eric had already betrayed Konoha once before. He lost his love, Lita, to her own fears. He made enemies, killed civilians, and with a metal bo staff as a weapon, he was ready to die if needed. His appearence hadn't changed at all.
"Alright Kite. Let's go. Good-bye for now.....Konohagakure." Eric said as he and Kite took the first steps away from Konoha, and they never looked back, no matter how many tears filled their eyes.
A new journey has begun.
OOC: 1 Person RP. Nobody else can join this topic. Leave comments if you like. Since Lava already had him and Eric part, I decided to finish this mini-event series by showing Eric and Kite leaving Konoha to go journeying around the world.
