(Notice: Only open to Disani's sensai)

During her slow mutters and mumbles of nonsense, she woke up in a daze. Her gentle eyes of mist with the dilated and faded pupils had stared into the darkness only seeing few things shine from the glow of the water under the moon to the shiny polished surface of the Hero's Memorial that was sitting not too far from her. Her face was partially squished as she laid side by side in blades of grass that was cut short to keep the area well gardened out of respect of the fallen heros most likely. Her mind stirred in a whirl wind of confusion and groginess until she had lifted her head only using the reflexive muscles of her neck to realize that her mouth was coveted with a white cloth and her limbs were bound together by something rope that was impossible to cut by herself. She had gasped only to hear it be muffled as she closed her eyes tightly and started to squirm around with a hot headed temper towards the realization she'd been knocked out and tied up and left alone out here.

"Ack! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Those Academy Students were too serious when it came to a game of ninja! I guess they misunderstood that I was a beginning ninja, and I guess they thought I knew the Escape Jutsu!"

That was the usual attitude of Disani as the thoughts ran through her mind. Always giving other the benefit of the doubt when she was digressing from the obvious that those kids were most likely just terrible. She didn't dwell on the thought much as she sighed and then let her head hit the grass. She had two choices: either try and squirm her way back to the village with her ankles and wrists bound behind her back while taking the chance of being a target's helpless victim, or stay among the hero's memorial in the opening and try to escape on her own. Knowing Disani, her choice was obvious.

She started to squirm like a worm as she had deseperately tried to get to the woods in a comically fashion, but after five minutes of moving in such a way and desperatly with all her strength, it was quick to realize she only moved about a good three meters away from the memorial stone since she could use her ears to see after belly dragging her body along the ground in a rough way that was annoying to her ears. (Classic anime sweatdrop here)

She had hoisted her body with a toss and landed on her bum as she had sat upright in a good position. She had started a chakra flow through her body letting her ears listen and picture her wrists as she had attempted to slide the ropes loose with her chakra while moving her hands around through the oppotune opening. Of course, this didn't work as she didn't have experience with this. She had let her blind eyes widen as her mind coursed with a shocked though:

"It's getting tigher! It's getting tighter!" she yelled in her mnid with her mouth muffled to not let the cries be heard. She had fallen over as she had let her shoulder hit the grass. She sat with her blind eyes staring into the night not seeing anything, not even the hope that her sensai would bring her at times like this.

Disani had laid in that same position almost forever. It must've been the first quarter of the morning as she had laid there hoping someone would patrol the village grounds at night and bring her home. She could only picture one person doing that since others would say she was no good at being a ninja. That same thought dawned on her each time: the laughing children, the teachers that told her to find another way, and the people that held stuff up in front of her face and then laughed when they know she couldn't see them. Actually, when it came to them teasing her, she'd have the last laugh when she'd sometimes jab them with her stick being fully aware where they were with a single breath drawn from their mouth, and the teachers would sigh taking pity in her choice while she smiled taking pity on her teachers not realizing that she was more determined than almost anyone, and the people that teased her, she guessed right that it was a grocery bag in their hand, and she was proud when she split the paper ware with her pole and walked away while they cleaned up the consequences of their crimes. She always had the last laugh, and she'd have it here too!

She quickly tossed her right shoulder to sit up on her bum once more as she had let her head go into a toss forward. She was determind to get this technique pinned down as she started to think of an alternate means to get around the fact that she almost cut all the circulation to her hands. She had developed a hypothesis as she had let her eyes dawn on the ropes around her ankles even though they were invisible to her.

"If I'm to get this right, then I have to get loose all my shackles and bearings. I can do the opposite of what I done a minute ago to get free."

Disani had nodded taken approval of that thought. Her chakra started to flow in such a way that it relaxed her muscles as she had her eyes closed while simply listening into the night. She can feel her muscles relaxing to the point where she could almost slip them out of the ropes without any care. As she started to pull her wrists to slip them from the ropes and her delicate ankles were to slip from the ones around that point as well, she had lost concentration as she was a bit shocked.

"Ack! What was that?" she had thought looking around using her ears only to detect that a tap was nearby. Pretty soon, she had felt something creep along her right leg. It was tapping her with each movement in a trickling manner since it was a bit small but warm. It felt pretty creepy, and with her chakra halted from her ears after being so quickly interrupted, she was a bit too panicked to see what it was. Was it a hand? It most certainly felt like to her with herself being blind and not thinking straight. She had started to shake while she had an awkward look on her face.

"Ah! Get it away, get it away, get it away!" she had yelled as she rolled in the grass back and forward with more fear than a startled rabbit. She had cried and whined only to have them silenced and jumbled by the cloth on her mouth as she tossed her body like a barrel back and forward across the grass. If anyone saw it, it would've been worth maybe a barrel full of laughs, but she was lucky this day.

It was most likely near morning and there was two things wrong with this picture by then: One was the fact that Disani was still out and no one found her, and two was the fact that her hair was in a fritz from rolling in the grass like a panic attacked maniac. What could one expect? She was freaked by some creature only to concentrate her chakra to her ears to find that it was some common Squirrel. She had gave a sigh of relief and then smiled after seeing she over reacted. What kind of ninja was she to have all her calmness and cunning broken in an instant by the common forest squrriel? It was so embarassing, and yet, she could only think about how it made her more human in fact. She didn't want to spend her time wondering all night about her life, she had to do this jutsu, and this time she needed to do it as a real shinobi.

"I'll do this. I've been depending on people's comments too long! I can do this by myself!"

She had concentrated her chakra once more to relax her muscles in her body. She had to admit that the feeling felt great and it was reassuring in a way telling her that she was on the right track to finishing it up. With ease and as if it was natural, she had took one hand slowly sliding it from the ropes along her wrists and loosening the other ropes grip on the other hand since thw wrists were so easily bound together. It was really complex tie up from some academy children, she had to compliment them on their handy work, but she didn't let that get to her as she resumed by slipping her right ankle from the ropes binding her feet. It didn't take long as she had pull back her right leg in an arch as she sprung it while pushing up with her free hand to stand feeling the ropes hit the ground with a simple rough drop. She had reached for the back of her neck untying the cloth's not and then holding it in her right hand.

"I did it..." she said to herself and then gained a blissful smile across her face as she let out a small giggle. She had dusted off her little white thin dress as she had looked around using her ears like sonar as she had made small taps of her foot. If her mind was correct, then she would remember that she had placed her pole down somewhere. She had heard small taps radiating back as she had a surprised look on her face even though she was familiar with the sound. It was the one of the small forest squirrel as she walked over and towered over it with her smile and gentle expression.

"Hi little friend!" she said and then realized the small creature was standing on the memorial stone with a small bar laying on it's surface. Even Disani knew from the get go that it was her pole retracted. "Is that for me?" she had said as she reached down grabbing her pole with her right hand and holding it in the palm of both as she started down towards the memorial stone's polished surface.

"It's a funny thought that I think the only reason I was safe in this forest because of you, one of Renima-sensai's friends, was watching over me." she said as she bowed out of respect towards the person's name on the stone. "Uchiha...Kumo..." she muttered lowly to herself as she had felt like she knew him already. She had stood there that morning as the sun came up. It had appeared that she had spent those short hours training amongst the grounds. She was sure that she'd be safe here a little longer, so she decided to stay here and learn another jutsu until it was time for her sensai's ceremony, but time was short. She didn't want to risk disappointing him, so she had scurried along to go get some sleep until tommrow.

((Returning for more training!))

~"Another return to the fields on such a bright morning. This time being of free will rather than the usual accident. It was only recently that Renima-sensai had became kage, and I didn't even get to see the entire thing! I can't believe it! The audience was too crowded and I missed everything! Well...at least I can try to impress him with a new jutsu!~

Those were the thoughts that went through the blind shinobi's mind as she had approached the Water's edge. She had kneeled down as she had leaned in towards the river bank observing the rushing water that went down the crevest carrying the reservoir down through the village if she anticipated right. This morning was a blessed morning for her as she had made that usual proud smile and stood up while letting her ears be her eyes.

"Focus!" Disani said as she had lifted her index and middle finger focusing her chakra to her feet. She had been previously trained in the art of focusing chakra to her feet by her sensai, but now she tried to do things on her own instead of relying so heavily on him. After all, it could be her down fall as a shinobi to be too dependant. She had took this morning into her own hands as she had attempted to turn her training up a level. Her smile had shown from cheek to cheek as usual as she felt the chakra impending on her feet. She had took her first step on top of the water surface as...

Splash!!!

She had sunk down as she had lifted herself from the small reservoir. She had shook her head as her hair had entangled a single small fish as she tossed back at something squirming in her head. It seemed like today, she would be trying to learn water walking.

A slush and a splash as Disani had picked her knees up from the water as she had reached to the reservoir side. She had felt like she was hit by a river of water already from being clumsy. She could pretty much see now that there was a difference between walking on water, and walking along the surface of some kind of tree or piece of wood. She had panted as she had her arms resting along the side of the shore and then spat out a mouth full of water. Her hair dragged along her shoulders as she made an effort to drag herself back along the shore. She felt pretty silly thinking all of it would be so easy from the get go, but live and learn.

She pulled her body back along the shore as she had dragged herself on her knees. She stood up as first thing she had done was squeeze that water from her dress letting out a cough here and there on account that the chill air had hit her with her being so wet. Her hair felt like it was sticking to her pale flesh already as she had slung it in effort to rinse it out, but to no avail.

"How embarassing..." she had said lucky with no one watching. She had only cleared her throat as she had readied her chakra once again. She had focused letting her ears lose some of the chakra she used for hearing. She had turned around reaching out one foot to set it onto the body of water as it made contact...

"Did I...."

Slap!!!

"Ahhh!!!" Disani screamed out in terror as she had spun around on a heel, or more likely on a heel on the body of water as she had then fallen over like a tree being chopped down. The thing that slapped her across the face had suddenly leapt for safety as she had hit the water with another thunderous splash. Another attempt gone to no use. she bubbled a sigh from under the water.

Disani's body had sunk to the depths as she had felt almost numb from being surprised suddnly by something that smacked her against the face. She had made a gasp for air as nothing shot from her mouth but bubbles. She grabbed at her throat as she had shook her head. She had kicked up quickly as she had tried to resurface flailing her arms and legs. In the water, it was like she could see again, almost everything since the constant motion was like sonar. There were exceptions though, but she couldn't think about it as she had kicked and kicked reaching for the other side of the water that was nothing but air and free movement. She had breached the surface as she had quickly lunged her head in a plunge and then took in a huge breath of air.

"I made it!" she had cried as she had shook her head getting the water out of her ears and giving a big blow of her nostrils as she could feel the moisture creeping up her nose. She had reached a hand up as she tried to focus the chakra amongst her finger tips so she could pull herself along the surface and get out to stand, but she had trouble. Her hand would sink back down slowly and she had hissed seeing she was doing nothing, but failing. After a while, she could only think of herself as failing again as she had stroked to the river bed's edge and then pull herself onto the side. She had kicked her feet as she had climbed back on land. Her ears had listened to the waves still not knowing why she couldn't get it right. She couldn't even pull herself onto the surface. She felt to pathetic that her hands couldn't touch the water like it was a surface to her. She had readied herself to try again on foot this time.

Disani stood on the reservoir side reflecting on what just happened. She had failed her attempt a second time, and a third time, she couldn't even concentrate the chakra to pull herself across the water using her hands. She had that depressing look on her face as she stared at the calm waves now that she wasn't amongst them. It almost gave her an idea. "Maybe...it's because I keep fighting the water..." she had mutterd to herself feeling pathetic already since she knew it was true. That's all she did was kick and splash and then when it came to focus chakra, she rejected water rather than trying to make a surface amonst her feet. She had shook her head as she thought about that second attempt. That one time that went wrong when she felt confident.

'Cheep! Cheep!'

The sound nearby drew her attention as she had looked towards the animal that wasn't far. It was only a yard or two away to be more precise pinpointing with her ears once again. It was that squirrel from that same day, and not only that, it was her attacker as well from the second attempt. "Ah ha!" She had said pointing to the startled squirrel that looked towards that finger. "You're the one that messed me up!" she said as she smiled looking towards the little creature, but now that she thought about it, she didn't mess up her second attempt, not at all. A matter of fact, she had fallen into the reservoir. It gave her an idea. She had smiled at the squirrel as she had gave it a comforting expression.

"Umm...thank you!" she said with a smile. The squirrel was confused, but Disani had gained some insight on the situation. She focused her chakra once more as she had smiled and then placed a toe on the water submerging somewhat as the weight was heavy, but she didn't fall all the way in. "Oh!" she had let out the cry before pulling her foot back, but with a smile this time.

Disani had focused her chakra once more as she had looked over towards the squirrel playing it by ear as she caught it in her blind sight from hearing it nearby. "Wise me luck!" she had noted before winking and then turning to the body of water and then reaching a toe out. She had let it touch down, but at that moment, she had kicked off making a quick twirl as she had spun in a ballet like style of dance and then easily leapt by toe again tapping the water lightly. Her toe sunk into the water's surface only a little meaning she had to better the chakra concentration, but she was getting use to it. She had kicked off again as she had landed on toe, but her foot sunk into the water.

"Oh no! I'm losing it!" she had said as she made a tough expression. She leapt once again as she had landed on toe lightly, again, and again, and she stopped as she stood on top of the water and smiled briefly as she had tilted her head with a grin on her face. "Hmm...funny...and I thought that wasn't enough cha-"

Splash!!!

The surface of the water bubbled once again as Disani was under it's depts. She body slowly had risen to the top as she floated on top of the reservoir. She spat out a small gyser of water from her mouth in her embarassing moment.

"Rats!!!" she had cried out.

Disani had smiled as she had failed this time around, but she knew it wasn't nothing too bad. She had floated on top of the water with her skinny pale body simply being carried on top of the reservior near the memorial. She could make out all teh organisms under water swimming just past below her like she could see them minding their business since her ears were sharp of motion about such bodies of water such as now. She had smiled staring up to the sun not being able to see not a bit of shine and sun, but she pictured it when she was a little child, and she also pictured it with such jutsus like Renma-sensai used on her to let her see the world in color once again. She wondered if he was there right now, would he show her the world once again and let her see the sun? She knew it was a lot to ask for, but it didn't matter. Right now, how she saw the sun right now was perfect. Sure she didn't see it, but she felt it. It's warmth was comforting and told her it was there.

Disani had reached her right hand as she floated atop the body of water. Slowly it had reached to feel her forehead to notice something was missing. She had heard a bubble as something had came afloat. The silver plate on top of the water had floated freely as it had sat there floating just as she did. Her headbad. It was symbolizing what she wanted to do right now. She wanted to just be freely floating away with her worries just like this. The worry that she wouldn't be good enough, the worry she would disappoint everyone, and now the worry that she would fail to learn this jutsu...down stream it went. Nothing was left but just a smile as she had tossed her body over while focusing her chakra as she stared to come to a realization. She had her elbows hunched on the water and they sunk a little, but nevertheless, they stayed somewhat afloat. Her feet and knees did the same, and so did her torso as if it looked like she was slipping into the depths, and so she did as she lost control of her chakra and sunk once again into the water's depths. Still, she had a hysterical expression on her face being confident as she pulled her headband into the sinking depths with her.

Her body had flew through the depths like she was suddenly thrown into the water like she was sinking so suddenly. The bubbles gave it a thunderous sound upon entrance as she had simply sunk with her Leaf Village headband in her right hand. Her grip was slipping as it past through her fingers. Her dress had wavered in the depths as she had sunk time by time. She was too light to just be sinking so rapidly. Her eyes were shut since it didn't do no good having them open underwater anyway. She had kept flailing and falling away into the blue endless abyss. "This reservoir was never this deep..." she had muttered to herself as she had kept her eyes narrowly with a gaze from the misty haze within them.

"Why am I sinking so quickly? It is...doubt?" she had asked as her eyes widened as it felt like something had pulled her deeper. She couldn't feel the warmth of the sun that much now. There was only the crystal blue and white at the top. The colors of hope, but still she was blind, she couldn't see them. She had only closed her eyes as she had began to sink away. She could somehow breath with the little air she retained, but for how long would that last? She had felt blackness drifting to the corners of her mind as she started to fade away, but something flashed as she had widened her eyes again.

"Oh! I'm..." she had uttered lowly. She had gave her body a whirl as she had smiled. She had stopped sinking and pretty soon, she could feel herself floating once again, she could feel her chakra moving amonst her body's sill with a warm blue glow as she slowly started to come back to the surface. She had reached a hand to the depths and grasped as if she had got a hold of something. She had pulled herself up struggling as she had moved her skinny little body with all her might. She gritted her teeth as she had motioned with ease until she had broke to the top and reached it, the light she couldn't see.
