This square is gaurded by someone from the Sand village. The ground before he starts seemed to be full of sand on the ground, with only a few bits of loose sand traps. As the people get into place, the Suna ninja that only acts as part of the terrain, starts up a major sand storm, dropping visibility and causing sand to whip around the area. The sand traps turn slowly into portions of quick sand, the dangerous factor in this area increasing. The sand is loose in certain parts, and the wall that divides up the areas from the crater walls. On his way from his position in the meeting area, Tori decided to go ahead and make his weapon of choice visible. His jutsu of choice was mostly developed around illusions of the mind to damage his opponents psychologically, but his weapon of choice was his elegant Daikyu Bow and arrows to match. He was not for hiding his strategy. He was going to keep his distance and hopefully show his ability to wield his weapon very efficiently. He wanted to hit vital points of his opponent and take him down with ease, but if his opponent proved to be more of a threat than the regular genin, he would have to turn him into a spiky little porcupine to get his point across. Of course his movements were to be masked by his other abilities, but upon entering his battle arena he would find out that he would possibly have to fight nature as well when he began to walk through the infinite amount of sand.
With his third step into the area, his assumption of battle tactics would deter even more when his foot decided to sink down and make him stumble. Some places of the sand was thick and solid to travel on, while other parts were loose and almost liquid like as the weight of the Uchiha would make it shift and turn to make him collapse through it to the nearest solid ground. Tori immediately found his footing back after stumbling and continued into the area. At the moment, the sand laying on the ground would be his enemy, but he hoped for it to be more of his opponent’s disadvantage. He was not really a taijutsu type of guy that required him to move in on his opponent, but he was the genjutsu type of guy that ninety-percent of the time had to move away from his opponent.
Finally the Uchiha made it into the center of the sands and awaited his opponent to make his appearance as well. This was the time to showcase everything he had learned in order to make his village better and seen as more of a threat than rumors had been indicating. The lone Uchiha looked around at the monument us walls that would possibly keep the people upon them safe from issuing casualties within this match. Tori squatted and placed his hand into the sand. After getting enough within his grasp, he brought his hand up to his eye level and looked at it sift through his fingers. He then looked around to scan the environment even more. It was not much of a spectacle to look at, but it was at least a decent place for a battle to be enforced to allow Tori to become better acquainted with the Wind Country Territory. The boy stayed suated and awaited the arrival of his fellow genin. _________________

Tch, no way. Upon entering the battle arena, he automatically shielded his eyes by holding up his left arm next to his fore head. Whats with all this sand, are they serious? Sté couldn't see anything ahead of him, his vision was completely impaired. Ok, this is going to take a lot of focus. Sté wasn't comfortable moving about in a sand storm, blindly looking for his opponent, he had to play it smart. He gently closed his eyes and began to ritualistically move his arms around in a circular, yoga like motion. Getting his chakra up and running at an easy pace, he stop moving his hands and go into an open handed fighting stance. He slowly opened his eyes and remained calm. If my opponent decides to not make any moves, then I'm going to have to fish him out some how. Considering the environmental conditions, maneuvering in any way could prove to be fatal. This situation was very unique for Sté but, he is versatile at heart and adaptability is the name of the game. Sté wasn't too worried about the sand slowing him down in any way but he was curious about what his opponent's strategy would be in such a condition like this. _________________ Kaguya Points 500

As the two contestants appear, so does another Suna ninja. This one was easily identified as a jounin of the sand village, for he was wearing the jounin flak, the Sunagakure headband, and on top of that seemed okay with the ongoing sand storm. Tori ready? Ste ready? Good, now let us begin! He said, as he disappeared in a flurry of even more sand. Would the sand storm keep up, would anyone's life be in extreme danger? The only way to find out is to continue and watch, listen, or whatever you can do in this crazy arena.

The first person to show up was the evenly inquisitive opponent of Tori Uchiha. The boy was pretty thin and quickly recognized from the area that all of them were held in. He looked not much smaller than Tori, but he had a look in his eyes that said he was ready and actually going to be serious about this bout. Tori was grateful that the boy did not offer a handshake because he was going to have to refuse it. Following the fellow genin’s arrival was an odd disposition of sand that quickly emerged into a man that looked like a typical jounin. He was taller than both of the boys, sporting a battle worn forehead protector of Sunagakure, and wearing the standard issue flak jacket that was awarded to shinobi that were higher than genin. It could not be suggested that he was of a lower rank, everything about him said "strong guy". Tori knew that if something was to become fatal, this man and others would perform their duties efficiently enough to not have any casualties arise from this exam.
With his bow gripped firmly into his right hand, the Uchiha moved his left hand to his shoulder and rubbed highly behind his own head to feel the feathers upon his arrows. He was only checking to see if the sand storm hadn’t blown them away, and so far it hadn’t. He brought his hand back to his side and heard the introduction of the jounin begin. He was first to be signaled for to be ready and he nodded his head while thinking, “This is it. Do or die…” Then without a pause the boy would hear the name of his opponent called for readiness as he finished his thought, “What will it be?” Then the final words left the man’s mouth and without further ado, Tori was in battle mode. From the corner of his eye he could see the jounin scurrying off into the sand through a shunshin, but before the figure could even be fully gone through the sand, Tori found himself speaking aloud his pride and joy, “SHARINGAN!” He wanted to end the match as fast as he could and this was the way to go by it.
With his words, Tori’s eyes mutated into a different form unlike that of any other set of eyes in the world. They took on a base crimson color and evolved three tomoe into the boy’s eyes within an instant as he jumped backwards keeping his eyes on his target. His left hand was still free, and his right hand moved not an inch to show whether he was going to attack, but from the beginning he had his eyes attempt to lock onto Ste’s eyes to punish him with a quick genjutsu from the start of the bout. He wanted to leave no opening for the boy to move in on him, so his first task was to get him occupied with something. The only question that could be asked is, is this sand too thick for the boy to see? He would have never activated his Sharingan so fast in any other scenario, but he knew that forming hand seals would be too much of a risk at such a close range. The con of this maneuver was that Ste would not see his eyes in order to unleash his technique. The pro was that if Ste could not see, it would bring more strategies for the Uchiha to attack.

Name: Sharingan
Requirements: 3-point kinjutsu training for each stage
Description: Sharingan is the bloodline limit doujutsu of the Uchiha clan. It possesses several powerful abilities, though it is developed through three stages. When just awakened, it is in Stage 1, with only one tomoe located above the pupil; in Stage 2, another tomoe appears, and they are now located to the left and right of the pupil; all three tomoe appear in Stage 3, and they are located in a triangle shape around the pupil: one directly above and the other two to the bottom left and right. The Sharingan is activated by sending some chakra into the eyes. It does not cost much, but only a true Uchiha can have it activated for prolonged periods of time without risking their health.
Stage 1: The initial stage of the awakened Sharingan, it only gives the clan members some basic abilities. Among these is the ability to see movement somewhat faster than what they would normally be able to and to detect chakra. This allows them to react better and gives them higher accuracy than most. Thanks to the chakra detection ability, many camouflage techniques are rendered ineffective. This stage also allows them to see clearer than normal.
Stage 2: The second stage of the Sharingan allows those who possess it to see everything with even better clarity, including objects that would normally fall out of sight because of their speed. This allows them to dodge and attack as if their taijutsu skills were one step higher. Additionally, visual genjutsu of rank B or lower can be dispelled instantly, without any chakra cost or a need for a special technique.
*Stage 3: The third and final stage of the Sharingan opens even more possibilities for the clan members. Their vision of moving objects improves further. Their ability to see chakra and movement allows them to memorize the techniques used by their enemies and copy them, one of the abilities the clan is highly famous for. Additionally, visual genjutsu of rank A or lower can be dispelled instantly, without any chakra cost or a need for a special technique.
Name: Sharingan Hypnosis
Requirements: Sharingan Stage 3; 4-point kinjutsu training
Description: Despite being known as hypnosis, this ability is far from that and is actually rather simple, although its power is great. It allows one to use any genjutsu without making any hand seals, simply by making eye contact. This also allows them to use genjutsu normally activated by sound, touch, smell or even taste, meaning any of the five senses, via making eye contact, although in that case they will be rendered as visual. It also lets them use genjutsu like Mirror Heaven and Earth Change simply by making eye contact.

Description: The user forms half a dozen seals and traps the target in a genjutsu where four mirrors appear around the user, one in each of the major compass directions. The target's reflections step out and proceed to attack them. This will feel absolutely real, and if the target can bring themselves to attack their reflections, the images will shatter when struck, sending shards of the mirror they stepped from flying into the target.

Sté bent his knees and listened as the proctor spoke: "Tori ready? Sté ready?" Sté's world began to move in slow motion as he began to focus. As soon as the proctor left the scene, Sté would spring into action and perform a number of quick back flips away from Tori. He wasn't going to take any chances with an opponent that he knew nothing about. He wanted to wait and see what Tori could do. Before he stopped flipping, he heard Tori scream something: Sharigan? As he stopped and looked forward, he could only see the silhouette of his opponent, nothing more. Perhaps it was a bad idea to get so far away to where he couldn't see his enemy very well but, if that meant that his opponent would be left guessing, then so be it. Sté bent his knees down a bit and would then feel something strange. Its was as if something was tugging at his left foot. Sté looked down and saw that his left foot was oddly sinking into the sand. Not good. Sté moved to the side and yanked his foot out. Quick sand. Sté looked around while thinking to himself. Looks like this is more dangerous then I had thought.
I need to come up with a strategy before rushing in. As for now, I'm going to use my speed to kick things off. Sté continued to look towards Tori and wait. _________________ Kaguya Points 500

With his first action, Tori’s eyes never stopped raping the body of Ste as he quickly moved himself out of harms way. Tori knew that he did not react to the start of the match so acrobatically because he knew what the Uchiha boy had done. No, he performed his move because he wanted to make the gap between them even wider. Like Tori, it was possible that this guy wanted everything to be fair. In Tori’s opinion, starting a match this close together was like a homicide for people that dwelled into separate classes of fighting. If one of the users was almost godlike when it came to taijutsu, they could easily make the first strike and make the exam not be as interesting as it could have been. The same thing applied for the other styles as well. Another part of his evidence that starting competitors this close was absurd was the fact that it always proves to be futile as the people in the engagement seem to back away from each other to get into more comfortable positions, so what was the point? It must have just been his thoughts that were like this because of his want to be far away, though he was not lacking in either category.
While moving backwards with his jump, Tori landed in soft sand. He could only think, “So far, so good.” He halfway expected that his foot was not going to land on a safe spot in this terrain. He was thankful to lade luck on what she had allowed him to do in such desperate times. The area was already placing a huge disadvantage on him so whenever he was able to make a good firm step onto the ground it would be considered since his alternative could possibly mean that he was sinking into an unknown void that was inescapable by regular means. If only he had obstacles within this arena. There was nothing to hide behind other than the sands themselves. There was nothing to climb up on with absolute surety that it would not collapse under his step. He could only trust his previous steps and hoped that nothing in the weather was changing them. With that at mind, Tori continued to go backwards in a speedy fashion while raising his bow into his line of sight. He gained enough grounds that the boy was becoming more and more difficult to see, even with his Sharingan. He knew that at this far away, it was possible that he was not even seen anymore if this boy had regular eyes looking through the sand s that clouded their eyes.
Locating the boy with his eyes that were filled with chakra, Tori prepared for his assault, but something told him that him just backing up did not hide him efficiently. He was going to need something else to mask his body from his opponent. Then he was hit by a thought. If he moved from his current location at a very quick speed, he could make his opponent become more confused about his location, so without any further actions he disappeared into a body flicker to only leave behind the sand still swirling in its same form. Tori decided to go to the safest place possible in this area, up. At the base of the environment was too filled with traps and it was where the sands stirred the most to block his vision. From this height he could spot his target even more as he squatted perched on the top of wall. His technique allowed him to avoid all other traps from below and now all he had to do was keep his chakra flowing to his feet and eyes.
From his perched location, Tori was to act like a bird. He was one of the many predator birds that was looking for the prey that was Ste. He brought his boy into his line of sight after locating Ste’s chakra signature lurking around. Then he grabbed a single arrow from his quiver before pulling back on his string to amplify the power of his shot. This was really just going to be a warning shot, but a shot intended to hit nevertheless. He needed to check his calculation of the winds that would make his arrow go off track with its lightweight. Without further thinking he released his string and his arrow was whipped from his bow heading towards Ste.

Sté narrowed his eyes and frowned as he saw his opponent widen the gap between the two. What is he planning? Sté remained calm and continued to wait. I either can wait for his attack or I can strike now and not give him a chance. The gap between the two of us is too great for me to just charge through. Which means that I'll have, for now. Sté rubbed his fingers together with anticipation. He was still trying to figure out what technique Tori had used earlier. Sharigan.
Sté's thought process was disturbed when he heard something whizzing through the air. Although, the storm was the only thing he could really hear, it sounded like something was tearing through the wind and coming his way. Sté gasped as he moved his left shoulder to the side and watched as an arrow flung by and landed into the sand behind him. The arrow had cut through Sté's sleeve and had also given him a slight cut on his arm. An arrow, even from this distance he could still see me, interesting however. Sté looked at the arrow and then towards the direction from which it came.The arrow came at me diagonally, which means it wasn't shot from ground level. Either he leaped into the air and shot the arrow or. Sté looked behind himself over his left shoulder and saw the outer wall that protected the audience from any possible dangers that could occur during the match. Of course, that would be the smartest thing to do. The sand is too dangerous, why not make a move while clinging onto surfaces above the sand?
At the same time though, why should one have to attack from the wall like that? He must not be as light on his feet as I am. Sté smiled to himself. But for now. Sté leaped up into the air and focused his chakra into his feet. Ill do it his way. While clinging onto the wall just like Tori, Sté focused a little more chakra and created a clone that appeared right behind Sté, back to back. Sté was going to make his way around the wall and eventually reach his opponent but he wanted to deceive Tori before making any actual attack. Sté pointed his finger, commanding the clone to run along the all and towards Tori. Sté waited for a couple of seconds and would then also take off running along the wall in the opposite direction of his clone, so that he and his clone would come from different sides of Tori. While running, Sté began to focus chakra into his right hand.

The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.
