OOC: This Match is between Emily Hyuuga V. Yuki Seijin. Battle will begin when topic is unlocked. Note that it is sunny, clear skies and humid.The coliseum in width is about 100 meters wide, and from hieght is about 60 meters high. The coliseum is beige colored, and the ground is full of grass and there are a few trees on the outskirts of the arena. There are also many types of insects including spiders and catapillers, and other like insects. Yuki walked into the arena, and tried to ignore the crowd above her, and reather decided to quietly observed the surroundings around her. This seemed like a simple place for this type of event, and at the same time, it seemed very sinister. For one thing the various pieces of terrain were at best, only good for blocking one or two attacks, and the walls provided no way or stealth or cover from the point of retreating or flanking, and the overall layout seemed to be more geared toward hand to hand close combat then stealth, and trickery. This unfortunately was what Yuki was used to relying on when she fought, and without the ability to abuse it she felt a little on edge. Uh oh this won't be good, if I can't use the terrain in an effective manner to flank then my jutsu will be to obvious to spot. Plus I won't be able to trap my opponent in a web or the like. She sighed, and breathed a relaxing breath. Ok so my only options, are ether retreating until they fall into a trap, or hope for the best in hand to hand combat. She didn't like the second option, but if that was what it boiled down too then so be it. At the very least though she was going to try to avoid hand to hand, and rely on the terrain to strike from below with her one, and only real combat jutsu. Cold sweat rolled down my face as I leaned against the wall just outside the gates to the Coliseum. Taking a deep breathe, I stied to gain control over myself. Though I couldn't shake a terrible feeling, a feeling that I was making a mistake. I didn't know really why I had chosen to register into the tournament. I thought maybe it was a way to test my skill, but now that everything is right in front of my, I can see the dangr I am now in. I don't know any of the clan jutsu, or techniques. I can only haope that the person I am fighting is not a long ranged attacker, otherwise I am in realy trouble. My mind raced through with possible outcomes of this battle. What if I get hit by a kunai in the back of my head, and I loose my eye sight? I trip and accidentally damage my own chakra system? If I die? No, no, I will be fine, shoudn't I? I yelled out of frustration an slammed my hand against the wall hard. I saw the stone crack and my hand began to throb greatly. Cursing to myself in a low whisper and rubbed my knuckles. That surely was not my smartest move.
I looked at the gates before me again. Going through it meant exiting out into the Coliseum, and moving out into a destined-to-happen battle. Meaning that no matter what, I would be fighting someone this day. I pressed my hand on the smooth surface, wondering if there was still time to turn back. But I knew I couldn't do that. This was a test, a big one and I needed to pass it. I can't turn my back on this and walk away, I would never do that. Koi would never do that, he would fight on even if he was dead,, fighting back from the grave to make sure he had made the last punch. My hand clunched up and my nails dug into the smooth wood. Suudenly a voice went over my head, resonating around me as if there were a thousand voises going at once. It took only a few seconds to realize it was the announcer. " The Fourth match of the Tournament is about to begin. Fighters please enter the arena."
Taking a deep breathe I waited for the gates to slowly open before I stepped out into the light. The bright sun blinded me for a moment and I held my hand up to shield my face from the glare. I looked around finding that there were thousands of people up in the stands now watching, eargerly waiting for me to get my butt kicked. They yelled and screamed as the beginning of the match was annoucned. I shook my head when I saw them, they were animals, all of them. My eyes fell aroud the arena then, taking the position of everything that could be either useful, or used as a disadvantage on my part. The ground was covered in grass, a simple set up with a few trees dotting the edges of the walls. The size was quite large, setting up for mid range to long range comabt. Though if someone was willing they could attack close range. I began starting to formulate a plan then. Trying to know when I could retreat to the trees for cover, then once the opponent attacked sink to the ground to attack from below or catch them off guard. as my head worked quickly I looked over to find my opponent already standing at the other end. they were still quite a distance away but as I walked further towards the middle of the arena I could see they were a gril of small size. Perhaps they had just graduated from the academy.
I looked at her, trying to figure out what she would do based on her size and build. Being so small I doubted hand-tohand combat would be her prefered battle strategy. Most likely she would try to gain distance as soon as the battle started. I looked at her and caught a her eyes for a second. A familiar analyzed expression was cast back at me. She was studying the area just as i was, trying to fit the pieces of the puzzle together just like me. Though perhaps I could do it better then she could. I have learned to figure out the end result without all the pieces many times. And I had an advantage, even in far range, I could percive everything she did with my eyes. Distance, shadows, hidden traps and objects, nothing was a problem to me. But I wasn't sure if she knew that. could she tell I was a hyuuga just by my appearance. I never wore the traditional Hyuuga clothing. My linage always wearing standard kimonos and robes. I would be a stark contrast in their presence.
A quick blur shot past my eyes and I quickly followed it to a spot a few steps from both me and my opponent. A black robed Chuunin in a green vest and large spiked hair stood facing us. His face held no expession and his eyes were cold. Waitig a few seconds I wondred when he would ever speak, or move, even breath for he seemed like a cast statue. Though suddenly his eye focused on the drowd, then shot back at us. " This will be a battle between the two of you. the rules are simple, the fight will continue until one of your forfiets the fight, or one is unable to battle. Death is a possibility here. Put on a good show, I have money on this fight. Now then, BEGIN!' The chuunin then quickly melted into a large puddle of black and brown slush and sank into the ground. Dispearing as quickly as he came, leaving us with only one cammand, fight.
My eyes shot back to my opponent and without a second to loose I brought my hands up in front of me. Taking only a fraction of a second I looked her over, searching for any weak points. Then I focused chakra into my finger tips, aiming quickly I shot three chakra needles out at her. They were not as condensed and powerful as I hope planned, having attacked in a short amount of time. But they were sent flying towards her, two aimed at eahc her her thigh muscles as I hoped to keep her from using her legs to manuver, the other was aimed at her neck. Without even thinking I jumped to the side and tried to begin to close the distance between her and me. I focused chakra again back into my right hand, though as I did this a shot of painwent throug my hand. and I remembered when I had hit the wall a few minutes ago. that was certainly a big mistake on my part, though I would have to make the best of it. I dashed towards Yuki, fist held up, ready to strike.

Pin point strikes of the Tebiki-hira user. gathering chakra into the tips of their fingers, the user can concintrate this chakra in order to use it in a very accurate manner. the user can fire off needle szied chakra projectiles from their finger tips. these needles don't cut the target at all, but instead hit the target with a hard blast of chakra in a very small point on the body. Making pressure points and vital points prefered targets. these neeedles can cause quite a bit of damage if used by some of great skill. Each needle deals about the damage of a punch in the pin point area. Though the amount of needles fired and the damage that they deal are increased by each stage.
Stage One: 5 chakra Needles, +0% total damage
Stage Two: 10 chakra Needles, +25% total damage
Stage Three: 15 chakra Needles, +50% total damage
Stage Four: 20 chakra Needles, +75% total damage

Yuki heard the chunin state that the battle had started, but it was not the chunin she cared about the whole time all she was worried about was her opponent. So as soon as Emily threw the needles at her she whipped out her wire, and swatted them away. Needles huh? I guess she is ranged like me... It was then that Yuki noticed that her opponent was quickly closing the gap between them. Or maybe she like hand to hand combat....... Yuki thought as she began to retreat further back. I need a plan, if she is close range then I will have to make a gap between us, and strike. After a moment’s thought Yuki flung the wire to the left of her, and grabbed onto a nearby tree branch, and pulled herself upward into the tree, and perched herself onto a branch. She then pulled out a kunai, and tossed it at Emily, hoping it would cause her to not notice that Yuki was weaving the wire onto another tree behind her. Ok if I can pull this off I will be able to gain some distance. If not I will be at a big time disadvantage. OOC: The needles shot at you were made of chakra so wire wouldn't really do anything to them, but since it is condensed chakra it would have some sort of physical shape. So it works.

Closing the gap between me and Yuki I noticed her quickly pull out a wire and block my attack, then she pulled herself up into the trees behind her with a quick pull. Effectively getting away from me. I looked at her with hard eyes, trying to figure out what she wanted to do. How she was hoping I would react. Does she want me to go after her? Or would she rather I tried to go around, in order to fall into some sort of trap? I thought to myself silently as I ran towards the tree in wich Yuki was hiding in. If she wanted me to attack then I certainly would. She can't stop me forever.
Though suddenly a swift move of Yuki's hand brought out a kunai. She looked at me, then tossed it at me with fast speed. It sliced through air apparently aimed at my stomach and torso. Such brutal attempts at combat and battle. Throwing edged weapons around like an animal. I thought to myself as her attack came near me. Gathering bit of chakra into my right hand I sent a shot small projectile of condensed chakra at the Kunai, sending crashing to the ground harmlessly. I stopped then, only a few feet away from Yuki and the tree in which she was in. I looked up at her, still not fully sure what she was hoping out of her actions. Though at the moment I had the advantage. She was on the run, and so far she didn't know anything about my abilities. Of course I didn't know anything on her skills either, though if she was obviously trying to get away and gather distance, she was certainly a far ranged fighter, otherwise she would have intercepted my attack head on.
" You don't seem like the type who likes close combat huh? To bad for you that can't be helped, your trapped within the trees and leaves before you. And I can battle both ways as well." I looked at Yuri with a sly smile and then gathered chakra into my left hand, building up power, then quickly running forward I lifted my ahdn and smashed against the trunk of the tree, releasing the chakra stored in my hand as I did so. The tree trunk cracked open upon contact. I watched the tree lean backwards and strain on its own weight. There was a crackle of wood as the tree began to slit open and started falling towards the other trees behind it. The mass of wood and leaves began crashing to the ground with Yuki in its branches. I took a step backward to watch my handy-work take effect. As a spray of green leaves filled the air. and wooden splinters fly in each direction, I smiled at Yuki as the tree fell, showing her that I was not playing around.

~Hira Strikes~: Power-focused blows of the Tebiki-hira user. These are truly devastating in power. These attacks are performed at quite a fast speed, but they require a little time of gathering chakra into the hand you're going to use. The chakra is used to increase the strength of the blow by releasing the stored chakra on contact in a massive blast. Since it is not really physical strength, it won't deal fatal injuries but these strikes require actual physical contact to use. these Hira strikes increase the total amount od damage done on contact hits, but the higher stages can really pack a punch.
Stage One: +150% power
Stage Two: +200% power
Stage Three: +250% power
Stage Four: +300% power
Stage Five: +350% power
~Hira projectiles~: Tebiki-hira users can gather up their chakra energy and utilize it in range attacks as projectiles. The user will gather chakra into their hand and thrust outward releasing that chakra into projectile blasts that are each about four inches in diameter. These profjectiles can deliver a low amount of damage in the lower stages and move slower than one might think. though in the higher stages these projectiles are capable of devlivering high damaging hits at remarkable speed. These projectiles require almost no time to prepare and can be fired from each hand, making one capable of firing off these projectiles in rapid secesion.
Stage One: average speed, 50% hitting power
Stage Two: high speed, 70% hitting power
Stage Three: high speed, 90% hitting power
Stage Four: great speed, 110% hitting power
Stage Five: extreme speed, 130% hitting power
NOTE: I am bolding the level of the technqiues Emily is utilizing based on the amount of chakra she used during the attack. Meaning that her level of the ability isn't strickly third stage.

When Yuki saw Emily block the kunai she had thrown, Yuki got a little nervious. She blocked it with her bare hand, no she blocked it with chakra in her hand. Not good I bet she uses some form of chakra attack that ignores something. I can't be hit that or I might be done for. She thought as Emily closed the gap between with her impressive speed. However it was then that Yuki's plan could begin. For when Emily slammed into the tree Yuki quickly created a clone underneath the cover of the falling leaves, and branches, and retreated to the tree she had already attached herself too by using her wire. Though she wanted to see how the plan would turn out for future use, Yuki did NOT want to be found by her opponet in the slightest, Thinking quickly Yuki escaped eyesight by manouvering around the loosly strewn branches of the tree she had escaped to, and made her way down to the ground. Ok here it goes, if this missess well then, I am going to have to learn how to fight in hand to hand combat. With a quick hand sign she decended down underground, and began to rush over toward she believed Emily to still be standing.

Name: Doton: Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu - Double Suicide Decapitation Technique
Type: Ninjutsu

Requirements: None
Description: A ninjutsu used to trap the opponent in the ground. The user must first get underground and directly below the target, after which they will pull the enemy into the ground so that only their head remains overground as they emerge on the surface. The collapsing ground will effectively block the victim's movement as they fall into the hole, so it will take them some time to escape, if they are able to on their own at all. This jutsu can be used to pull an opponent underground completely, but in that case a firm layer of earth or rock will not be created around the target's body and they will be able to escape much easier.
The tree fell over in a mass of green leaves, snapping up peices up bark and crashing into some of the trees behind them. As the tree fell I lost site of Yuki. It seemed that me destroying the the tree caused a disadvantage. I searched wildly for some sign of a human presence, my eye caught a figure that seemed to be smashed under a mass of leaves and trees.Perhaps I went a bit far.. Though as I thought this a the branches which she layed under shifted and fell down on the body, it quickly disapeared in a mass of smoke. A clone... at this point I realized I was in trouble, I had lost my opponent and she was certainly a far ranged fighter. Almost without even thinking I focused chakra into my eyes, and sent small pulses to them, activating my Byakugan. A simple quick glance showed me Yuki was not in the trees, and just as easily I could see that a human chakra signature was now racing towards me from underneath the ground.
Damn it, I was careless.. very well. I jumped into the air, getting distance from Yuki nd her attemptive trap. As i moved i focused chakra into my Hand, building a concintration of energy. Then I swiped my hand in front of me, aiming it toward where Yuki was heading, and where I was just standing. A large thin wave of chakra sliced through the air, ready to intercept Yuki when she attempted her attack. As I landed on the ground I deactivated my byakugan, trying to conserve my chakra for as long as possible. This was turning out to be more difficult then I thought. If I am not careful, I could easily be taken off guard and trapped, she is smarter than I had first guessed. Perhaps this battle will be more interesting then once suggested by her size. I need to stay on my toes for sure.

~Hira Waves~: Sharp cutting projectiles of the Tebiki-hira user. The user will gather chakra energy into their palms and concintrate it carefully. then by swiping thier hand in front of them very quickly they will release the chakra in a steady stream and fire it off in a chosen direction. the result a thin wave of chakra that can cut the opponent. Though the actual size of the wave and the cutting ability of it increases in the higher stages. These waves of chakra move at about the same speed as a normally thrown weapon. These waves are easy to prpare and can be fired off at a moderate speed.
Stage One: Kunai sized wave, low cutting ability ( can only make shallow cuts on skin and cotton )
Stage Two: Tanto sized wave, Standard blade cutting ability
Stage Three: Wakizashi sized wave, moderate cutting ability ( able to cut wood objects easily)
Stage Four: Katana sized wave, High cutting ability Stage Five: Nodachi sized wave, Great cutting ability ( able to make large gashes in stone and rock objects )
As Yuki rushed forward to gain the upper hand on Emily she was greeted instead by a wave of chakra that was roughly the size of a Kanata. However fortunately due the chakra she had fused into the ground while running, which was used in order to form the sealing part of jutsu, gave her a good perception of where it would land in the nick of time Yuki managed to escape the majority of the blow, and resurface with a kunai drawn. As she resurfaced a Yuki felt a small pain on the side of her face, and went to feel it with her free hand. It felt as though she had been cut slightly, and when she retracted her hand to where she could view it, she saw a small amount of blood on it. With a small grin she looked up at Emily. Your good, I don't know how you knew where I went, but that was pretty good. She drew out some of her wire that was in her right hand, and tossed it gradually to the side, and began to wave it side to side. I suppose cat and mouse time is over isn't it Yuki Shrugged Alright then, as much I hate it I suppose I will have to do it. I watched the ground break open as Yuki surfaced from her trap, my wave of chakra glancing off the ground as it seemed to have missed her. I cursed to myself silently as I realized my failure. I looked at her with an emotionless face, my eyes showing me analyzing each movement. Yuki brought her hand to her face, as she brought her hand away I caught a glimpse of red. "Your good, I don't know how you knew where I went, but that was pretty good. I suppose cat and mouse time is over isn't it? Alright then, as much I hate it I suppose I will have to do it." She motioned for me to attack and then readied herself. I looked at her, half amused and half bored. She seemed like she was resorting to a style of fighting that she didn't really like. If that was the case then I might as well end this battle quickly, one powerful strike and get this over with.
" It was great being able to battle with you, though I am sure the situation didn't allow you to use your full abilitiy, as I am guessing that so far this battle has not been to your usuall style. But at this point I have more people to fight after this, and I have to get this done with quickly, so with that said." Moving my hands in front of me I formed a quick string of hand signs. Within seconds three clones formed in front of me. Each one charged at Yuki, moving at full speed with their fists held high, they swirved and moved in a random pattern with attempt to confuse her. Though as they moved I ran some paces behind them, hidden by their masses, I activated my Byakugan once again, allowing me to stay on target as the clones moved in front of me. As we moved and closed the distance between me and Yuki I focused Chakra into the finger tips in each hand. When the clones were a few fet away I sent out a large number of chakra needles with my right hand, they shot out and burst through my clones, making them explode in a cloud of smoke and moved to on in attempt to hit Yuki herself. Just as the clones burst I sent out more needles with my left hand, making a second attack after the first.
With the clones blocking Yuki's view of my real actions, the burst of smoke from the clones would reveal only twelve condensed chakra needles being shot at her, her reaction time would be drastically cut if my plan went well, and most of all with the second barrage of needles she would certainly be caught off guard. I continued moving as the smoke filled the area and jumped high in air. As I jumped I began gathering chakra back into my hands, I targeted Yuki as I decended back to the ground, falling down almost right on top of her, concintrating the chakra in my hands I shot them forward, releasing the chakra in large blast, my final strike in my plan to end the fight.

Bunshin no Jutsu [Clone Technique] Rank: E (Basic)
Requirements: None
Description: This technique must be mastered by any ninja who has graduated from the shinobi academy. It's the most basic technique a Gennin must know, since it can be a real lifesaver. This ninjutsu creates a simple illusion clone identical to the caster. The clone however has no physical properties and will disperse the moment it is touched.

The user will gather a moderate amount of chakra into their hand and thrust outward releasing that chakra into large blasts that cover the area of an average human body, casusing damage on a large scale. These Blasts can deliver a moderate amount of damage in the lower stages though in the higher stages these projectiles are capable of devlivering very high damaging hits. These blasts are almost instantanious though they require a longer time to prepare and must be executed with both hands. Making it impossible to fire them off in quickly.
