Eric Hatake returned to Konoha after a rather tense pick-up mission in Kirigakure. It was there he met a man who had handed him a normal folder. Inside it however, contained the life story of the Hokage and the people he knew. Eric knew nothing of the Hokage, and the folder had all the answers he wanted. However, loyalty came before self-interest. He had to accomplish his mission first above all things. He is still being watched by people who call him 'traitor' for many different reasons. He had to redeem himself.

With that mindset, he entered the Hokage tower and went into the Hokage's room. "Lord Hokage, mission successful. I have the folder you wanted." Eric said.

Tamotsu sighed when Eric had come into the room. He had been reading scrolls left behind by the short stint that Seiko had. He looked at the folder and then his attitude changed almost instantly. He looked at Eric as if he was a stranger but treated him kindly. "I see. Please join me." Tamotsu said as he offered the chair before him at his desk. "The file you have in your hand is the most extensively collected file on most everyone in Konoha and those I met along the way. It even has Uchiha Katsuga's entire fighting style and jutsus, most of you adventures based on records I asked for, and my life. So you understand the severity of those files." Tamotsu said as he brought his hands together and rested his elbows on the desk before placing his hand on his hands.

"Well Lord Hokage, I can honestly say that while I'm curious, I haven't read the file at all." Eric said as he sat down. "I understood the mission parameters and followed them to the letter. Still, I often wonder what you're like." he honestly admitted. "I don't know much about you. Just that you're the Hokage, you're a nice person, and have a cool head under pressure. That's it. Then again, maybe it's all I really want to know. Information can make or break a ninja, and I'd rather not stick my nose where it doesn't belong."

"I see. I'll grant you 3 questions but in return you must offer me something. I don't care what it is... men with deals are more honest then men with secrets." Tamotsu said as he took the folder and took the deck of cards and put them in his pocket. However, he pulled out 3 crads and laid them on the table. They seemed to be blank like most of the cards that had went into his pocket. Tamotsu knew that Eric knew better and that there was information on the cards already. He sat back in his chair and waited.

"That's certainly a tempting offer lord Hokage." Eric said as he looked at the three cards in front of him. Three things he could ask about the Hokage, anything at all, and they would be answered. However, in return he'd have to do things for the Hokage. He learned that owing people was a bad thing over the years. So he put his hands on all three cards, and pushed them back towards teh Hokage without looking at them. "Thanks but no thanks. I'd rather learn things on my own rather than through the person themselves." he told the Hokage with a small smile on his lips, but it was blocked by his face mask.

Tamotsu smiled as he placed his finger on the first car to the right and it began to show the information on it. It revealed that his chakra pool was 10 times a normal jounin's pool. "I was born with a horrible chakra pool and began to train non-stop to make it increase. When I began teaching others basics, my pool began to spike up even more. I have taken one 8 students. What about you, Eric? How many students have you had?" Tamotsu said as he slid the card towards Eric.

"I have had 4 Lord Hokage, including yourself." Eric responded. He knew he had made the right choice in choosing not to ask any questions. It's the safest road that sometimes leads to the greatest rewards. He was suprised that the Hokage's chakra pool was 10 times that of a jounin. It was almost on par with his. However, this wasn't including his own use of Fernir and the Hokage's use of his own dog-wolf. "Thank you Lord Hokage for the enlightenment, but I did not ask any questions of you."

Tamotsu nodded and put his finger on another card and watched as the information came to light. This one revealed that Tamotsu's signature technique is Ookami Jinei, a jutsu he created to increase his chakra pool 150% when used. "I never created many of my own jutsus but this one was one inspired from my father. Tell me about your students. I know me. I know Rin. Who are they other two and where are they? Did you abandon them or did you forget about them over time?" Tamotsu asked as he slid the second card up.
