Now that Megumi has returned to the village, and discovering that her own little brother is the keeper of the streaked sky, she cant help but feel a little giddy. Its been years since she's been home, and she was a little too eager to begin training.

There were clear blue skies, and peace among the village. Nikko was walking down one of the busier main streets, he would see faces familiar and unfamiliar, and he would wave and smile to as many people as he can. He was feeling good.

He made it to his house. He put his hand back. His fist got closer and closer and closer to the door, "boom". Suddenly he felt a rope tie around his feet, and he hit his head as he was pulled upside down. The next second the door opened and he was staring at his sister's, overly smiley face, while she was still in her pajamas, "You ready to start training Nikko???"

He slightly swung side to side, he crossed his arms, "You're an idiot," he said calmly, embarrassed he fell for such a basic trap.

"Good" she replied, still smiling and she slammed the door in his face, only to open it seconds later, fully dressed in her shinobi attire, proudly wearing the jacket of the celestial order. She began walking, "Whenever your ready we will begin training," and of course she meant 'now'.

"You're a pain you know that?!" Nikko shouted as she walked towards the training grounds. He bent himself up, in seconds he untied the knot, and landed on his back. He caught up to his older sister, eager to see what she's learned on her years away from the village.

Nikko followed Megumi to a brightly green hill and on top of the hill, a large tree, with a trunk as big as his house, and as tall as a small mountain. Its branches branched out what seemed miles, shade provided by the leaves that were as green as the grass and full of life. On closer inspection of the tree, the truck was marked all over with gashes and dents.

"This hill will be our training ground for now," she stated. She reached into her pouch and pulled out a kunai, "I don't know what level your at, so I guess we'll just have to start at the beginning, the very basics."

"Whatever you say... whatever you got planned for me, I'm going to learn easy. I'll try and make it quick and make this process a little less painless for the both of us," he replied, watching her toss the kunai up and catching it over and over again.

"Good. This is what I want you to do," She threw her kunai at the tree, about 20 ft up, "I want you to grab that for me."

Nikko looked at the height of the kunai, "And you expect me to do that how?" Megumi sighed, "We have a long way to go. I want you to retrieve that kunai using Kinobori no Waza - Act of Tree Climbing," to demonstrate she ran towards the tree while holding the rat hand sign, the soles of her feet turned blue and she began to run up on it. When she made it up to her kunai, she paused, bent at her knees, and backflipped off the tree and over Nikko landing almost exactly where she started.

"Show off," Nikko said under his breathe.

"Now you try," Megumi ordered.

Nikko faced the tree. He put together the hand sign of the rat, and focused his chakra in his feet. He began his run. He sped towards the tree, and when he was close enough, he stepped onto it, but instead of running on it like his sister, his foot dug into the tree, he took another step and couldn't hold his balance, he jumped off.

"One step huh?...This might take a while," Megumi thought.

"Woah you're putting way too much chakra into the soles of your feet. Right now all that extra chakra is not necessary," she pointed her finger up, in front of her face, "If you use too much chakra, THAT will happen," she said as she pointed to Nikko's foot-dent, "Try it again, but use less chakra. Keep in mind, if you don't use enough chakra, then you'll slip."

Nikko nodded and faced the tree once more. He held up the rat hand sign and took off towards the tree. He took one step, two steps, and slipped on his third step causing him to fall and land on his back, "See it's not that hard," Nikko said.

"Good good, you were completely off the ground," she exclaimed. She made her way to the tree to examine it. She only saw the dent from his first attempt, and there were no marks after his second, "He already found the right amount of chakra!"

With a slightly surprised face, Megumi stated, "You already past the first stage to this technique!"

"Oh yea? And whats that?" Nikko replied.

"You already found the right amount of chakra to put in the soles of your feet. Those first two steps were perfect, which is why you were able to completely get off the ground. The reason you couldn't take that third step is because as you use this technique, like most techniques, you need to keep a steady flow of your chakra, and if you dont, then you'll lose control of your jutsu," Megumi explained it, finding it easy to teach her little brother.

"Ohh okay, I get it," He stood up, and prepared for another attempt. Rat hand seal, focused on the soles of his feet, dashed at the tree. One step, two steps, three steps, four steps, five steps, six steps, seven steps. He felt himself get excited, and his foot embedded in the tree once again, on the eighth step.

"Eight steps this time? He might master this before nightfall!" A smile bridged her face.

"Wahhhhh" Nikko was falling backwards. Megumi disappeared and reappeared just in time to catch him, "Your doing good. Keep up the good work!"

On Nikko's next attempt, he had taken ten steps, already hitting his halfway mark, before his foot embedded into the tree once again, and this time, he backflipped off the tree and landed on his feet.

At this point, Megumi knew that all he needed was practice, and felt that anything else she would say would just be an interruption,"Good. Now you keep working at it, and don't bother me unless your giving me back my kunai."

Nikko looked at her lay down comfortably on the grass and slowly drift asleep, "Your a pain, you know that?!" He said before giving the tree climbing another shot. With eyes halfway open, Megumi watched him reach 14 steps on his next attempt,"Almost there", she thought before slowly closing her eyes.

A cloud covered the sky from the sun, leaving Nikko and Megumi in a darker shade as it got cloer to afternoon hours. A cooler, and more comfortable temperature ensued, allowing Megumi a deeper state of sleep. A drop of sweat fell off the end of Nikko's chin, "Almost got it" the last few attempts, he was centimeters away from touching the kunai. He began another run. One step, two steps, three steps....he reached out for the kunai on the 18th step, but once again found himself unsuccessful. More sweatdrops sloped off of his face, his lungs working overtime while gasping for air, "Almost there" he whispered.

He ran up the tree, 18, 19, 20, the kunai was at his feet. He bent down, grabbed it, and backflipped off the tree for the last time. Lazily he walked over to his sister, "Megumi!! Hey Megumi!""
She felt raindrops drizzle her face, she opened her eyes, and discovered they weren't raindrops, but instead Nikko's sweat, "Ahhhh!" She jumped up with terrifying speed headbutting Nikko's forehead, and they both fell over on their backs.

"Hey watch it!!" Nikko shouted.

"Dont scare me like that!" Megumi shouted back. There was a few moments silence which ended in their soft laughter. Megumi stood up, "I told you not to bother me until-"

"-Your stupid kunai is right here," and he tossed it at her.

She caught it, "Very well.It took a whole day?" She looked around as everything around her turned brighter as the cloud shifted with the wind to allow light into their training ground. The sun was still shining in the sky. She looked from the sky back down to her little brother. She could tell he was exhausted, but she had to push him. She didn't know how many attempts it took for him exactly to retrieve her kunai, but putting it at about 20 ft, measuring the time of day, she concluded that it probably took him around 15 tries.

"Here drink this," out of her bag she pulled out a small bottle of ice cold water and tossed it at him.

"Thanks," he said, he took it and drank the whole bottle. Refreshed and replenished, he put down the empty bottle.

"That should cool you down, hot-head. Now show me what you can do," she ordered.

Nikko got up, not even really needing that much of a head start, he ran toward the tree with a fast paced jog. For just a second formed the rat hand sign and put ran up the tree. One step, two steps, three steps, ten steps, 20 steps, 30 steps, losing count he kept going and didn't stop. He slowed down and hung himself from the top. He pulled himself up and stood on top of the highest branch the chakra in his feet allowing perfect balance. From up there, he had a beautiful view of konoha, despite the mountain, which had the Hokage's faces destroyed during the war. He looked down, and the green of leaves blocked his view from underneath him, and Megumi was out of ear shot. He took a few more moments to enjoy the view, until the sound of rattling disturbed him, and up came Megumi.

"Good but your training isn't finished yet Nikko! Why are you taking a break?" She asked.

The ice cold water that she gave him was a little more than ice cold water. There was an ingredient in there to replenish some chakra, otherwise Nikko would have passed out. Megumi already expected him to have almost complete control of this technique, just that the repeated attempts drained his chakra. The water doesn't improve your strength, or chakra pool, the training does. And after all those attempts, even though he was only able to reach 20 steps, it was due to his exhaustion. But it was part of her training. For example, if she had given him the water after about 8 attempts, he could've gotten the kunai easy, but he wouldn't be this adept with the technique if she had. The extra attempts added for more control, and for more chakra in the long run. And now with him replenished, she plans for him to make this technique almost second natured.

"You're on the last stage," She stated.

"What?? Can't you see I could do it already?" He his tiredness mistaken for annoyance.

"Well!" she said slightly taken back, "You want to learn this technique to the fullest right?? Besides, this part is the best part."

Now interested he replied, "What do I have to do?"

"Play a game."

"What game?"

"Follow the leader."

A grin cracked Nikko's face, "Who's the leader?"

"You are!"

There was silence. Nikko looked at the view of Konoha one more time, before he dropped through the leaves.

"Heh, I knew he couldn't resist, no matter how tired he was. Let's see what you got brother," Megumi dropped through the branches after him.

Nikko was running circles around the tree going downwards with extreme speed, Megumi right behind him. When she started gaining up on him, Nikko held up the rat hand sign put in more chakra in the sole of his right foot, turned the direction of it 90 degrees, and pushed off of it, Megumi missing him by a centimeter. She did the same and followed him, "By putting him in a game like situation, he's focusing less on the technique itself and more on the game. And by judging that turn he just made, he's real good. Mom and Dad weren't lying when they said he had a knack for chakra control. Without any practice prior, he executed that turn perfectly," Nikko turned again, and they were completely 90 degree with the tree running around it. Megumi turned the other way, and as she expected, she was running right towards him. At that point it was a 50/50 guess. Will he turn up, or turn down? Before they collided into each other, they both changed directions and began running down the tree at extreme speeds once again, their arms dangling behind them.

Megumi reached out next to her trying to tag her brother, but she noticed that they were closing in on the ground, extremely quick, "Slow down!" She shouted. Nikko kept on running.

"You can't catch me?" Nikko yelled back at her, once again Nikko's confidence getting the best of him.

"This kid is getting way ahead of himself," she thought as the ground came closer and closer. She disappeared, and reappeared falling right in front of Nikko facing him. She grabbed him in a hug and held him tight, "Gotcha," they disappeared seconds before hitting the ground, and reappeared laying safely on the grass.

Nikko stood up and pointed at her, "You cheated!!!" and he fell right back down, realizing how exhausted and out of breathe he was. On the other hand, Megumi was totally fine, "I didn't cheat! Your just a sore loser!" Not wanting to boost his ego, she decided not to tell him about his accomplishments today, and left it at that. She's not one to give praise anyways. To her anything more than a "Good Job" is crossing the line, "Well, I guess we're done here, good job. Tonight you should get a good nights sleep."

Nikko crossed his arms and looked elsewhere, "You cheated!...You were sleeping all day!" he exclaimed walking behind her. Without him seeing, she giggled, "So what? What are you gunna do? Tell my parents?"

For some reason that made him shut up whispering, "Cheater," under his breathe one last time.

Requirements: None
Description: A skill that every self-respecting shinobi must have. It is based on concentrating chakra to the soles of one's feet and using it to stick to objects, which would allow one to walk on vertical surfaces and even upside down. This is also often used as chakra control training, since the soles of the feet are said to be the hardest place to control your chakra.

P.S. THIS IS MY 200TH POST!!! I COULD FINALLY DO THE BLOODLINE FOR MY OTHER CHARACTER!!! Y.E.S.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D
