The Chuunin Exams will be performed in alternating villages every several months. All participants are to go the village prior to the exam and join the topic provided by the Supervisor. Anyone may join with as many characters as they have as long as their characters qualify (Please read qualification topic for more information).
The exam is to be split into two parts: The Preliminaries and the Tournament portion. Both are to test the shinobi in different aspects.
The Preliminaries are the first part of the exam. The genin are to be made in teams of 2 - 3 and are to demonstrate basic fighting skills against a single official (usually of jounin rank). In this part of the exam the player will be judged upon their roleplaying abilities. You are not expected to win this match . Passing only requires the basic demonstration of understanding the rules and fighting accordingly.
The Tournament is the second part of the exam. The genin are removed from their teams and placed in a tournament of one-on-one battles. The combatents are to fight until one is incapacitated or until the Proctor ends the match (due to a stalemate or if the match has run for too long). Anyone who does not post in their match in the correct amount of time will officially forfeit and the poster will automatically pass to the next round.
Once the final round of the Tournament is over the exams are officially finished. The genin who has won the Tournament will automatically be awarded the rank of chuunin. All other participants will be voted upon by the jury (All moderators) determined on their roleplaying skills. All those who win majority vote will also be awarded rank of chuunin.
