Long ago hidden in the annuals of legend is the chiropterans bloodline. Once a proud and discreet clan they used to use their powers to influence, and change the annuals of human history to ether fit a good, or evil purpose that they had at time. This lead to them at times playing the hero, and at times playing the villain, however one fact became apparent, their way of lies, and treachery against humans, soon would be become their downfall, due to the fact that these things became by known the same humans who were being tricked by them, and within the next few years following their discovery, more than half of the chiropterans were wiped from the face of the earth. What set off this chain of deaths though was very simple, but devastating in nature.  It all started with a Chiropteran King deciding that instead of redirecting humans away from his small domain of fellow Chiropterans in order to protect them, he thought of ruling over the humans using his various ways of trickery. Obviously this turned foul within a short amount of time mostly due to him underestimating the human’s cleverness, and an overestimation of his own powers. How the later came into play was for once he transformed into one the human leaders he masked his own personality to better fool them; This lead to him instead of accomplishing his own goal of ruling the humans, and Chiropterans, to him instead assisting the humans in hunting down, and killing his own kind, one by one. Naturally after a while, his own feelings rose to the surface, after the person he was pretending to be fell in love with a human,  and when ‘he’ confessed it within  the very court of the human’s kingdom he returned to his original form, which lead to his death by several point objects. Sadly though his death was looked upon by the other Chiropterans are just punishment rather than a tragedy, since due to his negligence, and selfishness the entire clan had been reduced to almost nothing, but a group of wandering refugees.

Beaten and broken the remaining chiropterans retreated to the farthest corners of the globe, away from where they had been betrayed, and were known about. As a result of this very few chiropterans remain, and very few still believe in the ways of trickery and preservation of humans; This spiral of so few as lead to a movement within the clan to instead of redirecting humans to just attack them at random. Despite this movement, There is still a faction among the Chiropteran’s that in truth desires for the days of old to be restored, and have put into place more of a structured system for behavior, and conduct within their few remaining members that could be considered sane, and they have in fact to this day been the ones to grow the most in both numbers, and power. However despite the fairly decent increase in their numbers, need for more chiropterans has never been more pressing for now both sides of the clan due to the fact that many of them have fallen prey to rogue ninja, or even just natural causes of death. Now,  with each passing day the chiropterans can feel that their kind is almost extinct, and this is driving them to attempt turn stronger humans into Chiropterans who they hope will be able to revive the clan. This though like all decisions has it’s downsides, and soon after the introduction of human bloodlines into their clan a small mutation happened; This mutation though not hurtful at all divided them even further, as it caused the true intentions, and sides of the clan one was on to be shown, as their eyes turned the color of their souls, and hearts desires. In the end however it was all the same as before, only with a different mean, for the two sides that once were cautious of one another now were even more distrusting, and lead them to completely split into separate groups, one being the blue, and the other being the red, and to this day they have still not become united in their goals, and pursuits, and have even been known to fight one another of petty things.

There are different levels of Chiropteran status, and with each one, one grows further in status within the clan, and power with their own abilities. Each level must be trained counting as 3 point  training, and will take effect one post after training, as their body gets used to the new level of power that they have recently obtained.

One thing that all chiropterans must do is drink blood. It doesn’t matter what blood as long as they have it (This means animals are a go, along with humans). If they forgo their feeding however, their powers will begin to weaken, and only half of the total bonuses, of all their SA’s will count (This means that even non chiropteran related bloodline limits, and SA’s powers will be cut in half) this also can happen if they lose too much blood, as to them it is as valuable to living as breathing. How one recovers from this is to make a post where they drink blood again, naturally the longer they go without blood the more they must consume to recover their powers, but this is mostly dependent on the chiropteran. Its believed that as long as a Chiropteran keeps drinking blood, it’s possible for them to live forever, provided someone doesn't manage to kill them.

Finally how one becomes a chiropteran is simple they must drink the blood of a chiropteran, and shortly afterward (Literally five seconds) their body will go into convulsive spasms. Once this has happened there is almost no way to reverse the effects, as the blood works too fast for most medical experts to counter let alone treat. After they have stopped convulsing they will remain in a coma for a decent amount of time (2-5 days is the average) and afterward will awake feeling like their normal selves, only with a slight hangover. For the purpose of counting what side a chiropteran is on it is completely based other personality, and desires in their heart to ether are more evil, or good. So in essence a red chiropteran could come from a blue ones blood, and vice versa.

Name: Chiropteran-Runt
Requirements: Must be a chiropteran
Description: The first, and by far the most drone like form of chiropteran out there, the runts are the humans that have just been converted from their weaker human bodies, and as such lack the true of their new clan. This is summarized in the following way:

Name: Chiropteran-Guard
Requirements: Must be a chiropteran, C-Rank
Description: This is the third highest rank that all chiropteran can become. It could be considered the main class of chiropteran, and is thusly the most widely seen, and most common among the clan. They are stronger than the runts, and thusly are able to be the foot soldier of the chiropteran race. This is summarized in the following way:

Name: Chiropteran-Chevalier
Requirements: Must be a chiropteran, A-Rank
Description: This is the second highest state that a chiropteran can obtain, and as such they are the personally body guards to the Kings, and Queens of their clan. In terms of power they are far superior to both the Guards, and the Runts, and can even compete against foes several times larger than themselves. This is summarized in the following way:

+60% to Healing speed

Name: Chiropteran-King/Queen
Requirements: Must be a chiropteran, S-Rank
Description: This is the pinnacle of the chiropteran blood line, and the main force that drives all chiropterans to do what they do, and it is them who leads the horde. Compared to all others of their clan the Kings and Queens are by far the most powerful able to take, and deal damage like the true monsters they are. This is summarized in the following way:

+80% to strength
+80% to chakra pool
+80% to Healing speed
+30% to speed

Name: Memories in Blood
Requirements: Acquired automatically on B Rank, or trained for 5 point training before that.
Description: For Chiropteran, blood is food, but for some it is more than that, with the blood of a person being a gateway into that person's soul, or at least so they say. While they might not have that much control, some Chiropterans are able to come to an understanding of those they feed on, which is why many prefer to feed off animals or the dead. When biting and sucking blood from an RPC, a chiro 'copies' their memories, which flash briefly before their eyes before disappearing; These memories can be accessed by them just like their own ones. Also for every turn they are drinking from an RPC, they drain 5% of their chraka (not permanently)

Name: Memories in Death
Requirements: Acquired automatically on SS Rank, or trained for 15 point training  upon reaching the Bloodline level of King/Queen
Description: For Chiropteran, the final bit of drained blood is said to be the best, the closest thing to a taste of heaven. But for some of the more perceptive ones, the final bit of blood can also be the most dangerous, with them being lost in the tide of memories and emotions that the prey gives out when they die. Its said that part of the cause for the chiro's fall was the unprecedented king being sent adrift and even partially replaced by the guy whose spot he was meant to be taking. When a Chiro with this ability kills a RPC by draining them of blood (and only this way), they are able to copy one jutsu up to their rank (not Kinjutsu). They are also able to restore their chraka by the remainder of the RPC”S (not increase, restore) up to their usual full amount. They get 3 slots for copied jutsu, but can copy the rest into normal slots.

Each chiropteran has a unique body structure, and as such is different from others in the same clan. Every chiropteran are able to take things from this list, but only two per level, until the Chiro reaches SS rank, at which rank, they can take as many as they want. A Chiro can only have one thing that affects a limb active at a time. These appendages are not present on their body until they wish for them to be, as such they blend within human society without being noticed. Each one must be trained as 4 point training.  However for a chiropteran without a another bloodline each is only 2 point training per level. You may start with one of them from the list below.

Name: Wings
Requirements: Must be a chiropteran
Location: Back
Description: Simple wings that are as durable as the Chiropterans level. They do allow for brief flight, and hovering but are not strong enough to be used for an extended period of time (Past 2 posts) without the needs to rest. They are however fairly durable, and can withstand a fair amount of damage without being destroyed, or cut.

Name: Reinforced structure
Requirements: Must be a chiropteran
Location: Skin
Description: A rather mastic structure, it is still considered to be one of the most important ones, and is possibly the only other that is constantly kept open. Increasing the calcium level in the skin, it makes it appear lighter, almost giving it an ivory like appearance. More importantly It confers a 40% defense boost upon them, while using this.

Name: Mace Tail/Scythe tail
Requirements: Must be a chiropteran
Location: Extra limb
Description: This appendage is a very basic but deadly weapon. One with this weapon can choose between ether a tail with a mace, or scythe at the tip of it. This difference being that a Mace is directly affected by the strength of the user, but is slow, and the Scythe is affected by up to half of the user’s strength, but is fast.

Name: Bladed arms
Requirements: Must be a chiropteran
Location: Arm
Description: This is a straight forward appendage, that is present of the forearms of the chiropteran when in use. These form a almost metallic like blades that can grow up to 15” long, and appear directly over the hand on the user in a curved pattern. They count as B ranked weapons in relativity to their durability and strength.

Name: Barbed Tendrils
Requirements: Must be a chiropteran/ Must not have Reinforced chitin active at the time of usage
Location: Internal
Description: Hidden beneath the chiropterans skin are a series of thin sinuous barbs, that can be pushed through the skin and extended at command via a muscle spasm. Though they appear to be fragile they are able to hold the chiropterans weight at will, making them perfect for use as climbing tools, or to support the users weight when needed. While they can be extended as a combat tool, they are extremely sensitive when cut, and when severed can cause unbelievable amounts of pain. A queen, or King can use their tendrils as a tool to lift themselves up from the ground, and even as back up limbs, allowing them to support themselves while using their hands and feet to their maximum advantage.

Name: Glittering Skin
Requirements: Must be a chiropteran
Location: Skin
Description:  Transmuting part of their skin into a unknown substance, some Chiro's are able to reflect the light from their skin, which can vary in effects depending on how much light there is. In lower amounts of light, this just appears to give them a luminescent glow, but in higher levels or out in full sunshine, it can blur and even hurt the eyes of those who look at it. Also when using this ability in full day light, the Chiro is able to use Light manipulation for no chraka cost.

Name: Paralysis Glands
Requirements: Must be a chiropteran
Location: Internal
Description: Some Chiropteran have been known to have small glands located in various parts of their body that contain a paralytic agent. When biting or using certain other chiro parts to attack the opponent ( Wings/Sycthes/Tails/etc), a numbing agent is released on the first touch, dulling the sensations for the affected area, or in the case of a feeding bite, completely numbing the opponent. Upon a second cut to the same area (within reason) a second agent is released which combines with the first to paralysis the limb for 3 turns. This can be undone by a medic nin using the poison removal Jutsu.

Name: Claws/Talons
Requirements: Must be a chiropteran/ Must have Wings
Location: Arms and Feet
Description: Simply, the user's nails grow in length but first the go into the skin of the person. Then the come out like calls, and or talons. Nothing more information needed really. Simply claws and talons from their hands and feet. Unfortunately, you have to not wear shoes that go over the feet, and or gloves.

Name: Perfect transformation
Type:  Genjutsu
Rank: C/B (kin)
Requirements: Must be a chiropteran, must have drunk the blood of the one being copied. B rank is 4 point training and requires Memories in Blood.
Description: This is a power that only chiropterans seem to be able to do, and while any ninja can do a simple transformation theirs is far from as perfect as a chiropteran’s. For a chiropteran is able to copy someone or something that they have had the blood of down to the smallest detail. The first rank of this jutsu require no chakra to perform, and carry out however it does require the blood of whatever they wish to transform into. This will take at least one post of not being attacked to pull off, and afterwards it cannot be undone unless the users chakra in interrupted, or they dispel it themselves. The second rank of this technique is able to be performed beyond that of that first in that they put themselves under a genjutsu that mirrors not only that person’s form through the transformation, but it also copies their personality down to the letter. However when in this form the chiropteran will forget who they are, and only act as that person, and the only way to undo the jutsu is to ether have the chiropteran’s chakra flow disrupted, or to have them experience extreme feelings as the one they have copied, such as love for another. In the case of the latter they will immediately transform into their normal form, and have to wait a post to recover, and remember who they are. Note: when using this, the chiropterans are not affected by their need to feed, as long as they have done the A ranked technique, however they DO NOT gain the person’s bloodline/jutsu while transformed, but can copy their SA’s.

Name: Shadow Imaging
Type: Ninjutsu/Genjutsu/Taijutsu
Rank: B (Kin)
Requirements: Must be a chiropteran, 6 point kin training
Description: This is one of the most powerful, but most costly techniques the chiropterans possess. In order to use this technique the chiropteran must be completely still to begin with, afterward they will make a series of hands signs, and then vanish. At least that is what appears to be happening in truth they have merely increased their speed to the levels of body flicker with one catch, they can remain in it for up to 2 posts without worry, however it drains their chakra, and healing powers by 10% each post they are in it, and they cannot cast jutsu while in this state above D rank, and may not form hand signs. There are a few variations to this technique that involve the different types of styles used with it. Ninjutsu is straight forward, and makes the hand signs, and attacks as described above, only leaving a flashing chakra trail behind them. The genjutsu style of this jutsu leaves behind it after images where they had struck their opponent thusly masking their new movements from their eyes to an extent. The Taijutsu style of this technique leaves no images behind, but however does allow for more a force to be applied in a hit (This cannot be combined with the gates).

Name: Sonic Pulse
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: C
Requirements: Must be a Chiropteran
Description: This attack utilizes a unique form in its deliverance, as it cannot be seen by the naked eye alone. First the Chiropteran will make the required hand signs, and then after is done they will open their mouths as to sing, and although no attack will be seen the truth is that they are sending out a high-pitched noise that only the most acute hearing could actually truly hear (Ex: a dog). This pitch causes all who within the range of normal screaming, to feel dizzy, and off balance thusly slowing their reaction, and recovery speed while it is active. This is due to the nerves in their brain that control these functions coming under attack by the pulse. This only lasts one post after it has been cast at which time the Chiropteran may act freely, and attack as normal.

Name: Bonded Exo-Skin
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: B
Requirements: Must be a Chiropteran
Description: An all around balanced technique this jutsu allows for the user to reinforce their skin with chakra making it almost indestructible. However this jutsu has a major downside as it sharply lowers their speed all around, and makes it harder to concentrate chakra into part of their body that jutsu is used. This jutsu also drians around 10% of their chakra each post until it is released.


Name: Internal Regeneration
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: C/A
Requirements: Must be a Chiropteran
Description: This is a very helpful if not costly jutsu to use. When the Chiropteran uses this attack they must remain stationary, and must not be using any other jutsu. In order to do this technique first they will do a hand sign as normal, and force the chakra into their cells the same way as a shadow clone jutsu. This jutsu causes all the newly created cells to redraw tissue at a semi faster rate that boost the healing speed of a wounds from hours to mere minutes. The thing about this jutsu is that when it is activated it will stay active for as long as the Chiropteran can place chakra into it. The more advanced form of this technique can make tissue recover almost as fast as it has been cut however it will use much more chakra when used this way, and both forms of this jutsu can only be used once per battle.

Name: Light manipulation
Type: Ninjutsu/Genjutsu
Rank: D
Requirements: Must be a Chiropteran
Description: This is a rather straightforward technique that be used so long as the chiropteran has some form of light rays hitting them. When using this technique no hand signs are needed instead they will twist the light in a way that will be able to replicate themselves in a fast moving circular pattern around the foe in the same color as their eyes. They can while doing this turn their bodies the same color as the light images, and the only way to tell which is the real one is by the level of clearness one has while doing it, as the light images are clear in the appearance while the chiropteran is not, this will be difficult, but can be done however; also no jutsu can be used while the chiropteran is in this state.
